It is clear that DM is not his natural position and against Newcastle in the league he lost the ball often in the middle of the pitch because he was not in a position to make a killer pass.

As long as we improve each game leading up to the new season I am happy. We were not at all convincing yesterday but we were in a similar situation this time last season and look how we started that season. Obviously AVB has been assessing players and still has time to do some wheeling and dealing in the transfer market yet. Also, due to the home grown rule we would have to sell before we could buy a foreign player which could be the reason for lack of movement in the market. Finally, Villas Boas is trying to make the team play with a flowing passing style that they are not used to. We have not, with this crop of players, played in this way so it may take a while for the style to catch on

I voted for number 6 because I think we need to get the 'real' Shed back in some shape or form. 3 and 4 look quite good but it would be nice to get more history back into the ground I'd like to see a long mural going around the top of the shed upper that would look really good IMO

As -25- mentioned it could be a problem in their heads. it could be that 2 footedness is not worked on in training and so they dont have the confidence to use their weak foot. If you look at Barcelona in attacking positions there is so much movement from every player so they have more than one option

I understand that he is quite young but we have never given him a chance apart from 10 minutes as a sub. He was hardly used last season but he certainly has potential. What is his natural position? I was always told he was an attacking winger. And finally he can't be much worse than Malouda or Anelka are on the wings surely?

I'd like to think Kakuta would be given a chance in all of this instead of spending £20m+ on someone else
