You only have to look at his last 2 games since he came back from injury- A brilliant second half performance against United including a wonderful off the line clearance and goal-saving tackle and against Newcastle where he scored a goal which could have won us the game. He is very reliable as well- the only mistakes I have ever seen him make were against Newcastle away (mix up with Cech) and Newcastle home (poor pass, JT has to make bad tackle they score a lucky goal from the free kick) On the subject of free-kicks he offers something else to Drogba and lets face it, when they go in they are brilliant. I love big 'Al and it would be a horrible decision to let him go.

We would be able to expand if there was another exit from the ground. At the moment there are only 2 exits which both lead to Fulham Road. The club, particularly under Kenyon tried to gain planning permission to build a bridge into Brompton cemetery but because it is a Royal Park it was refused by the council. In addition, we have tried to gain permission to build a bridge/tunnel from behind the Matthew Harding Stand to West Brompton station but this was too costly and complicated. Well if it was true then what has been said by Emelano is a load of carp. The man should not even be at the club let alone part of the management. How many times have we seen Torres through on goal from a pass by Lampard, Essien etc. and his first touch takes him away from goal and waste a chance.

I think that it would further damage our reputation of not giving the youth a chance. It would appear to others that we cant be bothered to try and integrate a youth player into the starting 11 and need another club to improve him further before we use him
