  1. says midday on here actually http://www.carling.com/carlingcup/ but they have said that before and started at 12:30. I'd tune in at 12:00 just in case though
  2. I'd like Palace or Arsenal away. Simple close range trips (although the same could be said for all the Man U fans if they get a tie away to these 2) with a better away atmosphere
  3. If Roman could buy Earls Court and tell us more about stadium design, timescale etc then I think the CPO would vote yes. At the moment Buck and Gourlay are just saying what the fans want to hear (about us not moving further than 3 miles etc). Once they prove their words with actions then the CPO would probably start to listen.
  4. I do sort of agree with you Badboy. Before Roman we had very talented players like Vialli, Di Matteo, Zola etc etc but they did not have the big-name player arrogance that you get from players today on the massive wage bill. We still had something about us that we had since 1905 which does not seem to be there today and it is hard to put our finger on what it is. Before Roman we were never apart from the late 60's a top, top side at any point so we were a club in a fancy part of London quietly going about their business. It was local sponsors and pre-season tours, not going to Malaysia with Samsung and Adidas branding thrown across our shirts. The fans back in the 90's never expected too much either. If we lost at home to say Aston Villa today it would be a catastrophe whereas 10-15 years ago it was just one of those things. We were a club with more heart and passionate supporters before. We had The Shed, one of the most feared stands in football. You could cram in 15 000 people standing on the terrace. Today we share half of a 6000 seat, not very intimidating stand with away fans, paying £50 a ticket. Things have changed and I still love the club as much as I ever did, we have just moved into a different era with its pros and cons. I have just listed the cons but obviously there are the pros to being a big club such as: Watching world-class players every week Winning trophies every year Competing at the highest level in every competition
  5. i was just writing how we were going to lose on pens
  6. Have a quick nap and I'll wake you up if we win
  7. fucking hell extra time with Ivanovic, Luiz and Sturridge on the pitch, all in contention for a place in the team against Arsenal in 3 days
  8. lets not forget that Everton are only getting a draw at the moment against our 10 man second team with their first team
  9. A big fat no to that. I might sound a bit spoilt but if we move to a new stadium it should at least be made for football and be new. I think other fans would see us in a bad light if we just acted like squatters in England's national rugby stadium
  10. I have a feeling Anelka will get it. For brownie points who scored our first goal?
  11. Dont forget Everton have an early kick off on Saturday against Man U so they probably wont go all out with 1st teamers either
  12. At the moment Mikel or Romeu McEachran or Ramires Sturridge or Lukaku Drogba or Torres Ivanović or Bosingwa Mata or Malouda Turnbull or Hilario Alex or Luiz Bertrand or van Aanholt Lampard or Meireles
  13. No Gourlay I'm not going to trust you http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2493970,00.html
  14. What by picking up yellow cards unfairly given to them by Chris Foy?
  15. Torres will tear apart Mertesacker who is slower than a snail after a night out
  16. It was probably just some bullshit made up by a bored QPR fan who hates John Terry because they are jealous that he is one of the best centre-backs in the world and they are stuck with nobodies in their team
  17. well I suppose it is more civilized than the scouse way of doing things...
  18. I doubt it will be the end of the saga even if the CPO vote no.
  19. Nice to know we can have an opinion on a Chelsea forum about a player without having you tell us that we are wrong and can fuck off. Henrique tell me, if he is not clumsy, why was that the 3rd penalty he has given away in 8 months of Premier League football
