I have never been more confident of winning a game this season. They have let in 56 goals in 28 league games. Although they do score a few without DJ Campbell and Charlie Adam they have no chance of troubling our defence. The only thing that stops us winning this game is lack of effort. We are 4/11 with bookies and not sure of Torres odds to score but I would be very surprised if he did not get on the scoresheet in this one.

That same Ref gave 6 minutes injury time - only 4 I think was put on the board when they played Man City last year that allowed Owen to score - plus he sent off 2 wigan players against Man ure this season. Funny how Fergie forgets that aint it!!!. He also disallowed a cracking Torres strike in the first 5 mins of this game. We are the only team in the PL era to have a better head to head against them- stick that in your pipe Fergie and smoke it!!!!

I think Drogba will be more accomodating, he knows he is the one under pressure to play the lesser role as Torres will always be the first name on the team sheet. That said I hope Torres plays sensibly and not selfishly as he is desperate to score his frst goal..

It is true that we do not give our youth a chance but I think this mentaility will change in coming seasons. Our pool of youngsters seems to be growing in quality year on year - surely they all can't be ignored??

Not sure I disagree with our decision regarding Cork. He is hardly setting the world alight at Burnley is he?? and did he get any takers for loan in the PL this year??. I know he is a main player in the U21's but is that that difficult??

Just checked it he has reffed us 3 times this year. Blackburn, Fulham and Stoke. He sent Essien off against Fulham and gave us 2 pens against Stoke. He also sent off 2 Wigan players when he reffed Man U v Wigan this year. Seems pro United so am a bit worried...

Lets hope that he does not cost us this game as it will be really tight. Does anyone know if he has reffed any Man U games this season and if he sent anyone off or gave any pens in those games???.
