Maybe the family thing is unsettling him. He is still living in a hotel while his young family are still in Liverpool. But yeah your right, he pushed for this move so has to make the most out of it. Maybe a nightout with John Terry would do him good or he could always pop round Waynes Bridges ex missus she still lives in Cobham dont she??

Just from looking at his body language and his face he looks really sad. I know he is a quiet bloke so maybe this is just his personality, but he smiled alot more at Liverpool. Hopefully when the first goal goes in he will be happier but im not sure all is right in the dressing room.

Carlo seems to add to the pressure though by keep saying he will score in the next game!!....Torres does not look happy in our team, I hope this changes quickly..
-
We are due a bit of luck against these and looked very threatning from set plays last night, hopefully without Toure to organise the defence we can get a goal from thier...

Espcially with a £50 million striker who gets no service!!....Will be interesting to see what happens when Yossi is fit. I can see him playing right or left mid though rather than in the centre.
-
Have not read through the whole thread but where do you stand on others ignoring him??
-
No they aint but they are fantasically negative and are very difficult to break down. Any early goal for us in this and we would piss them....

Torres is not Sheva, Sheva was passed it when we bought him. Torres has had no luck so far - if the stunner he scored against Man U had counted he would have been off and running. I am more worried about certain other players, it looks like they are delibaretly not passing to him. He has to keep coming out wide for the ball and put crosses in the box. Last night when we went 3 up will lost our discipline and everyone was trying to score. Torres was in great positions at the end but Malouda refused to pass. If we keep winning it dont matter who scores aslong as we win and Torres brings benefit to the side. He doesnt hide when the going gets tough like Anelka and all the other french speaking players.
-
The only reason that they have beaten us in these games is that they have shown no desire to win the games and purely wait for the counterattack even when we have played them away. In my opinion this is our toughest league game till the end of the season. Carlo needs to show some tactical ability in this one and match thier physical approach and the players need to show patience and not go gungho. Although he was crap yeaterday I would keep Zhikov in the team and we have to drop Bosingwa at right back for this.

Shevchenko was not up to English football and we signed him when he was 30. Torres is in his prime but the problem is he aint gonna score unless the other players pick him out which they are not. If Yossi can get back in the side before the end of the season he will get Torres chances As I have mentioned on the Malouda thread, I am concerned that the french speaking players are ignoring him due to thier affliation with Drogba. This is a problem Ancellotti needs to put a stop to quickly. Torres looks like a sad little boy at the moment, does not seem to be enjoying his football.
-
Just look at what some of them did at the world cup - disgrace. Plus Desailly is now "Mr Ghana" since he retired and snubbed playing for them in his playing days....
-
I dont think we play at all this weekend, Man City is next weekend.
-
Makes me think of the rumor that was mentioned a few months ago - there is a problem in the dressing room with the clique of french speaking players. Although Drogba has upped his work rate, Malouda now looks to be a problem.
-
Bosingwa was an embarresment last night. He is so week and gave the ball away for thier goal, then did exactly the same thing 30 seconds later. Yuri also poor last night.
-
I think your right Malouda was definately ignoring Torres when he came on - could have played him in loads of times.
-
Let him go, has gone backwards since Jose

Will always be fondly remembered in my eyes as the man that tried to get England players to go on strike because of Ferdinands failed drug test and renegoiate thier bonuses.....true patriot!!!
-
Would have done a better job than Strachan no doubt....
-
I don't know if it has been mentioned on here yet, but what a joy it was seeing "Mr Man Utd" Gary Neville in the away end mixing with the Manc twats. Wish the camera could have got him at the final whistle....

Have a look at his latest blog. It gives you our results this year with the white ball and yellow ball - interesting statistics....

You been reading Martin Tyler's blog on Sky sports website???

When do managers work till the end of thier contracts then leave though, I cant think of a single instance recently???. It is always when they get the sack surely if we win CL he will push for an extension?
