I don't agree. Last season as a striker he scored 27 goals in the league, and a couple of years before that he scored 26, to say he's finished as a top level performer is ridiculous. He doesn't need that blistering acceleration he used to have as a teenager, his all around game is fantastic that's why Ferguson plays him in different positions, behind the striker, as a midfielder, on the left or right, and of course where he should play, as a striker. I agree that he doesn't have that acceleration anymore, but the people who say he lacks pace and energy are overreacting, look at this video, the top one is just from three years ago.

I highly doubt he'll be gone in the Summer, i just cant see it..

Watching Chelsea play in the Europe league is like a chore these days.
