Linked with Scott Dann... Fucking hell. Emenalo needs to get his finger out.
-
For some reason I can see this risk paying off and being a master stroke, but tbh I said the same when we signed Falcao... So who knows.
-
He's one of the worst players at playing from the back and struggles to keep composure when getting pressed, honestly don't know what you're watching if you think he hardly gives the ball away... He is a good defender, has pace and can tackle, a huge talent but i guarantee most members on this forum will agree with me when i say his passing/composure on the ball is dreadful.
-
Had enough of him now, he is the prime definition of a nothing player. What the fuck does he do?
-
Awful absolutely awful on the ball, so fucking frustrating.
-
#Chelsea goes by the signing of Jorge Sampaoli for the 2016-17 season and negotiations have already begun. Porto and Chelsea, possible destinations for Sampaoli http://www. Dont know heow legit fff

Don't care what anyone says, theres NO excuse not to play at least a FEW youngsters, none.
-
I doubt he'll ever be a Ballon D'or winner, someone like Neymar has more of a chance. Ballon D'or is all about numbers and Hazard is simply not the type of player who would score 30+goals a season - no matter what team he plays for. Plus Messi is only three years older than Hazard, i'll put my money on Messi winning it atleast three more times before he retires.
-
Great quote, hopefully the tactics used against United was a one off then.
-
Tbh i'd prefer a swap deal between Bale and Hazard rather then going for Isco/James. Bale is PL proven and a leader, just look at how many matches he won for Spurs and Wales. He relishes being the main man which is refreshing tbh.
-
Why would he come to us? we have no CL football and would need to sign about 10 players (according to reports). I pray we get him but just don't see it happening.
-
I'll probably regret saying this but, a year ago i was worried about losing Hazard but now if we get the right money i'm not so bothered. Last season he was amazing for us, but tbh he was one of the worst PFA winners ever statwise. I thought he'll be at a higher stage now, look at Neymar, Suarez etc both ripping it up scoring and assisting. Eden dribbles well (although this season we havent seen that at all), but he needs to be scoring more, he has the ability to do that. No Chelsea fan can lie, when they watched him against West Ham (12-13) and Sunderland (13/14) we all thought he can be the best in the world, but he hasn't really kicked on. In both them games he didn't just complete a few dribbles and make one assist, no. He scores, assists, dominates and controls the game for the WHOLE 90 minutes. In a few days he'll be 25 and is he so much better than the player we signed in 2012? i'm not so sure.

They both complimented each other well, Mikel kept it simple e.g great composure on the ball, 1-2 touch passing and as you said, making himself available at all times, all of this allowed Cesc to play his natural game but i'm not going to give Mikel all the credit, Cesc bossed it and played a big part in all of our goals.
-
Fantastic today, when he's on form he makes us play 10x better, totally bossed the game.
-
Mikel normally holds on to the ball for too long (similar to how Matic' been lately) but today he was class, great composure on the ball and quick 1 touch passing, brilliant.
-
Hope its true, what a talent.

We've been linked with both Sampaoli and Simeone, but what strikes me as odd is they both have completely different footballing philosophies. Simeone is a 'win-at-all-cost' manger while Sampoali is an idealist, he wants his teams to play attacking football and to entertain the fans. In short, one is a Bilardismo (Simeone) "I learned competitive know-how from him (Bilardo) he is one of the managers who left his mark on me the most." and the other is a Menottismo (Sampaoli)," I believe that the only way to succeed is by uniting players with a love of playing. You try to inspire in them a love of the shirt derived of enjoyment, not obligation. When you succeed in this individualistic society, it is by committing to something intangible, with humility. That allows everybody to come together; the social or cultural background of the people involved doesn’t matter."... How does Roman want Chelsea to play? if reports are to be believed he wants us to play attacking football while integrating youth, then it seems rather obvious to look for a manager that fits that profile, instead i bet we'll just hire any 'big name' manager who has a good CV completely disregarding whether they fit our needs.
-
Should have got Brendan Rodgers in as an interim manger, he would have promoted youth and played attacking football... This is turgid stuff.
-
He's so terrible on the ball, struggles so much when playing out from the back.
-
Let's see how Gus parks that bus.
-
He's back now? I swear he joined TheShedEnd and was slagging off this forum a few months back lol...

It is funny how supporters lap it up when Jose says 'he's one of us', he said the same at Porto, Inter and if he has a few good years at United will say the same. When he left Inter he said that was the club most close to his heart, not Chelsea. I am a massive Jose fan but he talks a lot of BS. I just want Chelsea to go back to basics, good football, clean cut manager who is sensible that'll give youth a chance. We dont even have to win the league for the next few years, i just want to see us progressing. Look at what Pochettino is doing at Spurs, he's the real manager with balls. He doesnt care if a player is young and has no experience, he trust them and lets them play their natural game. Jose would rather take the easy option, spend 30-40 million on a player rather than developing one. Alex Ferguson said one of the main reason for his success at United was the fact that he trusts youngsters and is willing to give them a try, Jose is the pure opposite.
-
Our fans are dumb, obviously he wasn't the rat, how many times did he come out on social media supporting Jose?
-
Pressure off, we're not going to get top 4 (well it's unlikely), so hopefully he can gets us playing some enjoyable football again.
-
Would love Pep to manage Chelsea but looks like he's off to City. We'll probably get Simone, not really against it but his football can be very negative...
