Does anybody think the whole Terry situation has unsettled the squad just a little? Not saying it's a team rift at all just that the team seems discombobulated right now.
-
The long baggy shirt and long baggy shorts too.
-
Regarding the penalty, AVB had this to say: "We always assign two players for penalty kicks... On the pitch between Nico and David had to decide".
-
And a quick kick in the ass followed by a hug or vice versa.

I'm a huge supporter of Torres but the last two games have been head scratchers for me. United, Swansea, Valencia, and the first Genk game, his movement and attacking were quality in those games. Yes, he got an assist tonight, but he too often seemed to be missing. I'm not a shrink and not going to pretend to be one. All I want to see is some better service to him and for him to show us a little more. Just don't think he showed enough tonight tbf.
-
He's only taken 1 during his PL career and that was a pre-season penalty during PKs with Liverpool.
-
Goal Ramires, assist Torres but still slow as molasses.
-
Definitely a case of being the flavor of the month for one manager and not for another.
-
Hopefully the team will be up again at half and Ashley can get some rest.

That was pretty quick for Romeu. I think it's a good sign that he's learning English so soon after arriving. Seems he's trying to acclimate to England which I'm looking way too much into. Saw an interview on Chelsea FC the other night with Ramires and Ferreira was interpreting for him. Asked when he would be doing an English interview and he replied in Portuguese maybe a year or two. He also said maybe the English could learn Portuguese to help him.

Passes that Made Me Smile from the Arsenal Game
Tortilla9 replied to CareFreeChronic's topic in Chelsea Articles
I could do what Carefree does. Just give me a few hundred hours, some computer geeks from the local college, and the patience of a saint. It would be probably be just as good as Carefree...not! Carefree does a great job and I can say I was on that bandwagon early which is rare. -
That's what I don't get. He's admitted I didn't hear anything yet this whole issue goes on and on and on and continues to escalate. Where is the noise and din for the Evra/Suarez incident? Seems in the media two separate standards: innocent until proven guilty (Suarez) and guilty until proven innocent and then probably still guilty (Terry).
-
@chelseafc: Paraphrasing - Drogba didn't travel to Genk due to having screws removed from his arm (surgery after breaking his arm before last year's WC).
-
According to @BluesChronicle (Dan Levene who is CFC writer for Fulham Chronicle) on twitter: Mikel and Drogba have not travelled to Genk for Chelsea's Champions League match, but Jon Terry is in the squad.
-
I'm too lazy to look - is the group wrapped up?
-
Doesn't seem a very smart move on his part unless he knows something we don't know, i.e. he won't be coming back. Still you'd think he can post all he wants about Arsenal wins except against Chelsea especially since he's on loan. Sometimes football players are too stupid for words.

Surprised it took so long to post it here. Yossi's been taking a beating on twitter.

I wonder if the last week and all of it's very public drama had any negative effect on the boys. Its easy to say they get paid a lot of money and should just get on with it but I wonder. Thank goodness October is almost done.
-
The front line wasn't in any rhythm today. Maybe Danny was pressing too much with Capello there watching? Maybe Torres needed to play a little in the Everton game. Maybe he had too much time off since the Genk game (his own doing). The middle was ok but they couldn't seem to control the game either. The defense had one of those games that was ugly. Cech did not do well either on some of those goals. A performance to learn from (hopefully). Rather lose badly in October than in April/May though.
-
I feel like Chicken Little - the sky is falling, the sky is falling. It's the last game in October (not April, not May), can I suggest we take a deep breath, relax a little, and maybe not over-react quite so much. There are definitely some things that need work and the team needs to regroup from the last month of craziness (red cards, playing a man or two short, media spotlight more than usual, etc).

Surprised @torres was still available and not taken by one of the many Torres fans. Slightly surprised they didn't go @FT9 or @F9T either. @torres is pretty easy though. I'd love for him to tweet personally just once and tell Piers Morgan to STFU or one of the scouser nut jobs.
-
@aarbeloa17 (which is real and active) It's real, but I wouldn't wait a tweet from Fernando..RT @JayyAhmed @aarbeloa17 is this the real account? @Torres? I imagine Torres started getting texts/calls from some Spanish friends giving him a hard time about twitter and he probably had no idea what they were talking about.

I kinda got the impression from the his response (which has been edited) to my question that it was his blog. I only asked because I wanted to say "good job, enjoy the blog". It wasn't an investigation or anything on my part. I can barely remember some days where my shoes are but the initial post I remembered from the blog because of the boxes and arrows. It stood out to me. As I help my daughter with school papers and back when I went to school.... always credit your sources no matter what.

The twitter drama continues. @BluesChronicle To clear things up on @torres: Fernando wasn't aware his management had set it up for him. Now confirmed: it is legit. Sorry for the confusion. 13 m ago.

The Fail is still crap but you have to love Mata taking pictures throughout London. http://www.dailymail...s-Facebook.html
