  1. Surprised @torres was still available and not taken by one of the many Torres fans. Slightly surprised they didn't go @FT9 or @F9T either. @torres is pretty easy though. I'd love for him to tweet personally just once and tell Piers Morgan to STFU or one of the scouser nut jobs.
  2. @aarbeloa17 (which is real and active) It's real, but I wouldn't wait a tweet from Fernando..RT @JayyAhmed @aarbeloa17 is this the real account? @Torres? I imagine Torres started getting texts/calls from some Spanish friends giving him a hard time about twitter and he probably had no idea what they were talking about.
  3. I kinda got the impression from the his response (which has been edited) to my question that it was his blog. I only asked because I wanted to say "good job, enjoy the blog". It wasn't an investigation or anything on my part. I can barely remember some days where my shoes are but the initial post I remembered from the blog because of the boxes and arrows. It stood out to me. As I help my daughter with school papers and back when I went to school.... always credit your sources no matter what.
  4. The twitter drama continues. @BluesChronicle To clear things up on @torres: Fernando wasn't aware his management had set it up for him. Now confirmed: it is legit. Sorry for the confusion. 13 m ago.
  5. The Fail is still crap but you have to love Mata taking pictures throughout London. http://www.dailymail...s-Facebook.html
  6. The one positive for CareFreeChronic is that more people know about his great blog. I check it out before and after matches and I always learn something (easily done).
  7. In the match day thread I predicted Chelsea win, Torres hattrick. If I'm right, I'm a genius. If I'm wrong, it's the sugar high from Friday donuts and coffee that put me over.
  8. Chelsea have confirmed that Torres is NOT on twitter and @torres isn't him. Chelsea PR didn't realize it wasn't just about selling shirts, it was also researching twitter accounts.
  9. I'm drunk from the sugar high of Friday work donuts and coffee and I'm going off the deep end: Chelsea wins, Torres scores a hattrick.
  10. Doesn't he have to agree to terms with Barca to go back? Maybe he'll be happy enough here to stay. He's started a few CC games, started a CL game, will probably get to play again Tuesday night against Genk. Don't see the playing time happening for him at Barca. Although who knows what will happen in 2-3 years at Barca. Seems to be well-liked by AVB and it's always better to be on the good side of the manager then in the doghouse.
  11. How can he confirm or deny when he's said he didn't hear anything? Logic doesn't even seem to play into this.
  12. Torres is going to pray for Luiz before the match so all will be well.
  13. The man does generate an amazing amount of noise even when he does nothing.
  14. Torres has had some good games against Arsenal and with his renewed confidence plus Arsenal's shaky defense I expect to see Chelsea beat the crap out of them. The Chelsea team is better than the Arsenal team. Start and finish with 11 and it'll be a Chelsea win.
  15. Beats me... I'm thinking it has something to do with the official Chelsea FC since Sturridge and Torres have the same thing. And I'm sure Chelsea has enough info to verify Torres. Torres brother is very involved in his PR, etc so if he doesn't know then it's probably a generic Torres/CFC twitter like Sturridge's.
  16. Not cool. That's why I asked if it was Carefree's since I remember seeing it there earlier. I remembered the boxes and arrows. It's an informative blog that I enjoy reading. I hope whoever owns it gets the credit they deserve.
  17. @grifoisra is Israel Torres, his brother, supposedly.
  18. Maybe Chelsea verified it but it's not a personal Torres account?
  19. I have a hard time believing he'll be manning that account with all the knuckle draggers, mouth breathers, ie scousers, Piers Morgan, that are out there waiting for him. I wonder if it is something Chelsea set up because both @Torres and @D_Sturridge say the same thing: "I have not started on twitter yet but this is my official page and it is ready to go when the timing is right." Both are verified, both have one tweet only, and neither follow anybody.
  20. It's a great blog and I have it marked as a favorite. http://carefreechronicles.blogspot.com/
  21. Love Luiz but there are times when he just scares me watching him.
  22. Color me confused. This is what I know so far: 1. Ferdinand admits he didn't hear anything 2. The QPR players won't be testifying (or whatever the FA is asking for) 3. Cole didn't hear anything and he was the closest player So why is there an investigation? Because somebody watching tv or youtube guessed what they lipread? And I thought American sports could be a little crazy.
  23. @CareFreeChronic's blog: "So, there is little surprise that Arsenal has conceded a lot of goals -- 18 league goals to be exact -- this season (although 8 of them came in just one game). There are only two teams in the Premier League which have conceded more goals than the Gunners -- Blackburn (20) and Bolton (24). But to be fair to Arsenal, the defensive pairing of Mertesacker and Koscielny has been working much better in recent games. And here's for those of you who likes to pay attention to trends. Eleven out of these eighteen goals were conceded in the second half. And NINE, exactly half of all the goals conceded, were scored in the last 30 minutes of the game. Perhaps, an indication of a "switching-off" in the later stages of the game." Hopefully, we can capitalize on Arsenal's defensive lapses and beat the crap out of them.
  24. Swoopz, is that from your website? Is that your website? I've been following it this season and its a very good read.
