Just looking at the fixture list. There is a possibility we might even finish 6th, behind Everton. That would mean no European football next season. I'd sign that right now only if I knew the Russian and his men would learn something from it.

True, but usually those kinds of players I mentioned are not only fearful, but leaders too. Nowadays I believe we've got Terry, Ivanovic and at times Luiz. There is a difference in what Mikel, Torres and Ramires do and the ones I've mentioned. Cech is a goalie, his presence is not that important, he can't affect some situations from the box (if you ever played football you'd know this). New leaders are needed, this is something I definitely agree on and with it will the whole team man up.

We need some players like Drogba and Ballack. Those were the guys who everyone, inclunding the refs, feared. We're too good sometimes, much like Arsenal in the past few years. Its ok to be nice like Mata, but you also have to show some balls. Afterall, football is no ballet, its a contact sport. This is one of the reasons for the treatment we had from refs this season.

Who to blame for the worst season in the Roman era ?
Bosnian Blue replied to Bosnian Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
No, you're wrong. 5 pages prove it, otherwise nobody would be posting. Even the players themselves know something is wrong. To my mind, this team is a lot better than this season suggests. Ergo, they're underperforming. There is actually an incredible difference between some performances that came from the same group of players, even in just one game like yesterday. Last year we had a squad who was definitely worse than both Arsenal and Tottenham, aswell as Newcastle. We finished 25 points behind the winner. Now we've spent almost 100 million pounds on players and I challenge somebody here to say we don't have a better team than our rivals. Even Everton is very close to us. We will probably finish with the same points distance. To say 2010/11 was worse because of the not so bright future means you didn't get the point. We were one single game away from defending the title, this year we lost it in December. We played quarter-finals of the CL and were robbed by the ref. -
Who to blame for the worst season in the Roman era ?

We're talking present, not future. 6 trophies lost out of 7, the 2010/11 season was way better than this one. But thats not the point, the point is this is a bad season and somebody is culpable for it. -
If only he was smart enough to go down, Foy the idiot would have awarded us with not only a penalty, but a red card to Kompany aswell.

Then again: Who appointed the 'advisors' ? -

Of course the advisors have done so many things wrong, but is Roman not the main man ? Is he not the one who has the final word at this club ? Or is he faultless ? -
Who to blame for the worst season in the Roman era ?
Bosnian Blue replied to Bosnian Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Is it really ? We've fought back after being behind 15 points at one point, we even had a chance to win the Premiership at Old Trafford. This year we've bottled 6 trophies out of 7 possible, and the seventh isn't looking that likely now. Might not even play Champions League next season. Last season doesn't even need to be discussed and a proper answer wasn't given btw. -

First of all, I'm not used to writing long posts like Peace or other article writers here, but I'll try to explain in a few sentences whats on my mind. This is arguably the worst season in the Roman era. Whether you call it transitional, changing, evolving or anything else, its hardly an excuse for everything we were forced to watch throughout the campaign. What we've seen this season is definitely not Chelsea, it's more of an Arsenal. At least our supporters are far more intelligent than Gooners & have voiced their discontent. It wasn't enough. At the beginning I felt incredibly excited, on the brink of winning the Champions League and with super talented new players coming in, the future footballing year couldn't have sounded better. So, where did it all go wrong ? Now I can't wait for that same footballing year to finish. It was as disappointing as it gets, even though its not over yet. There are so many issues to be dealt with. Not going to mention TIO (probably people find me boring at times ), or Di Matteo, or the players. I'm certain that the only man who makes decisions at Chelsea, the only man who is a true boss - is Roman. Not Emenalo, not Gourlay, not Buck - Roman ! They can suggest, they can propose and recommend, but the ultimate decision awaits the Russian. In my honest opinion, he has fucked up the season and he is to blame for the worst season in the Roman era. I'm not going to be so radical and say Roman out, but the fact is people refuse to speak openly about him and his moves. Why ? I really have no idea. Anyway, whoever the next manager is (assuming it won't be the current one, but after his appointment earlier, I'm not so sure) will have a task of winning things immediately, because of a disaster of a season the year before. Therefore, lots of new problems are ahead of us, problems I think one man cannot magicaly remove, not even if his name is Jose Mourinho. Don't want to sound to pessimistic, but all I want to see next season is a united club, everyone behind those on the pitch, fight and passion. That way nothing will hurt.

Just to throw in a little stat here: The 'cup master' has now lost our third cup in what is not even a full season. Europa League is a chance for quadruple.

Wonder what would be the reaction here if Ivanovic had a game Dave had today.

One of the worst and definitely the pasionless performance from a Chelsea team at Wembley. Fuck it hurts so bad when I remember how we played this time last year against Spuds and Vermin. Two tactical master-pieces by Robbie, I miss the man. This season seems like a never-ending disaster, probably the worst in many many years.

Lamps will score today, I just know it.

Would be so unfair for Kevin to be loaned out again. He deserves a chance at Chelsea.

And only yesterday the same paper published this: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-target-jose-mourinho-confident-1827952

Can we call this match fixing ? That Arsenal team couldn't score a goal if the game is played for another 90 mins. Norwich were brave and they deserved three points. This is pathetic.

Read it, respect the author for trying to make another point, but I'm not convinced at all. First of all, we could all be reading this post and bitterly laughing at you if the interim doesn't get into top 4 and fails to win trophies, which is quite possible atm. Even if he does that, its still not spot-on. Secondly, I think there are a lot of members on here who still do not understand what Robbie has done for this club.

Absolutely fantastic. Our supporters group has been made official by the club. We are all delighted now having worked so hard and passionately to make it happen. http://www.chelseafc.com/supporters-article/article/3057425/title/bosnia--herzegovina

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see us hijacking the deal and then him flopping over here. Typical.

He'll break the record. Just believe in Lamps, he can do it.
