Who do u want to see start in the FB positions?
Bosnian Blue replied to Victor Von Doom's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Luis is a very good player, but people wouldn't even be discussing this if he wasn't paid 20M. Branislav and Dave all day long. -
Our best winger after Hazard. What a legend!
-
We are going to hammer them. Quote me later.

A referee will stop us, I'm pretty sure about that. Just hope we don't lose the plot like we did after Clattenburg disaster in 2012/13.

Didier Drogba, ladies and gentlemen. 36 years old, playing twice in three days, playing against a League Two side, sprinting in 92nd minute like he's 20, tackling, helping his defence, scoring... Didier fucking Drogba, what a man, what a legend! Shame on all of you who said a single bad word for him. Well done sir Didier!

This is interesting. I've thought about it and I don't think you can blame this just on one side (Jose or players). Its a combination of the two. We began to be defensive even before Mikel came on. The reason why Jose is very cautious is because he doesn't believe some of these players and their ability to kill the game. Plenty of our current attacking players tend to keep possesion and keep the ball after taking the lead without even looking at opponent's goal. It is the mentality of a person on the pitch. They're not as brutal as the group we had in Didier, Lamps, Ballack, Essien... You look at Oscar and Willian, especially those two Brazilians, but Hazard sometimes aswell, and they never strike me as true warriors, hungry and determined to kill other big teams. That cannot be coached, you can't go into person's mind while the game is on even if your name is Jose Mourinho, and also its impossible to simulate this kind of situation in training. Hazard actually is getting better at it, that is positive indeed, but others I'm afraid will never make it. I do not think Jose wants to be defending deeply every single time we play a difficult team, I don't think he is happy with it, especially when we concede a goal. This is why IMO Jose brings on Mikel for Oscar and tries to do it the other way.

Our set-piece taking was abysmal in the first half. Absolutely wasteful apart from one cross when Ivanovic was held back by Smalling.
-
Didier Drogba la la la la
-
Of course he does. There is less danger when your opponent is wide than when he is running in between a full back and a centre back. This is basic defending. If you ever played even remotely serious 11 v 11 football you would know this. Anyways, this thread disgusts me every time I open it. The bloke gives his heart to Chelsea, fights for the shirt, has been doing that for years. Yet you come here and out of 83 pages 50 are filled with bashing and insulting.
-
Well done Chelsea lads. Well done Robbie Di Matteo.
-
Was about to post it, just couldn't find on YouTube. Brilliant stuff from both sides, on and off the pitch.

It is, yeah. No photoshop, the thing is they don't allow pictures with your own phone nor can you touch the trophy. There is a tour around Europe now with the trophy (sponsored by Uni Credit as you can see above)...So, yes mate - proper silverware there. I also have plenty of other pics on my phone, one with the signed Lampard shirt worn in that amazing 2012 campaign. Too bad it is an away shirt from that season, which I don't fancy at all, but hey, no complaints.
-
Mr. Big Ears and myself today.. No Bozzy Bosingwa there to ruin the pic though
-
Fabregas. Proper Chels lad.
-
Frustrating to see the club spend that much money on him. I guess its the market nowadays, because we got Dave, who is a very good left-back and a fantastic right-back, for just 7M.
-
Fixed it for you.
-
A lot of money, but for me a great investment by United, they are getting a fantastic young player.

Once a cunt, always a cunt.

So many goals, so many moments.. This one hasn't been mentioned, I think:

I shed a tear last night. Thank you is just not enough for this man. 13 years of joy, pride, happiness but also grief and sadness, we've been through it all together. Frank, you are not just a player, for me you are a great person, great role-model and a true gentleman to look up to. I will tell stories to my grandchildren about a certain Sir Frank Lampard (because that is what you are, Sir Frank). I wanted you to kick your last football at Chelsea, but somehow it just wasn't meant to be. Anyway, this is not a goodbye, I'm sure you will be back soon where you belong. Cheers, my Super Frankie !

Imagine Lamps leaving and Fabregas taking the no.8 shirt. A part of me would die.
-
We've lost a lot of dignity and pride when we sacked Robbie and appointed FSW. So nothing can surprise me, not even seeing this club 'sack' Lamps and sign this cunt.

1. Di Matteo 2. Sturridge

Exactly. If he plays brilliant there, it would mean he didn't put in the same effort for Chelsea, which itself is enough a reason to sell. Truth is, he has failed us too many times in the crucial moments this season, I'm still not sure if he can make key passes to unlock defensive blocks. IMO he is nowhere near crucial to this team as Hazard is. In fact, Willian was better than him at no.10 many times.

35M+ and I'll drive him personally.
