  1. I'd accept it. Chelsea is a big club who HAS to have substitute players capable of playing on the same level as A-squad or the rotation won't work. If even us, the fans, aren't confident in the abilities of our players, there's clearly a reason and it needs to be sorted out.
  2. Reportedly we offered 35 mil pounds, thats insane. He isn't even near the level we are. Certain no
  3. Watched the first half of Mali-Côte d'Ivoire game. Drogba been bit lazy but that's good, energy perserving. Played an important role in their first goal on 3. minute. Long ball forward from the midfield, Drogba managed to chest it down while having two defenders near him , pass it between the two defenders to Gervinho who passed it to Didier Ya Konan for an easy tap in. So far so good. Tiote been a beast in midfield. Kalou playing as right winger.
  4. I'd play our usual 4-3-3. Cole,Terry,Luiz,Ivanovic --- Essien,Lampard,Mikel --- Malouda,Torres//Drogba, Anelka
  5. Oh sorry in that case, flew over older posts
  6. It will be alot better than last year. We'll lose: (if they're all still at Chelsea and fit, selected for national team) -Drogba -Kalou -Essien -Mikel We can replace them in the line-up with: -Torres -Ramires -McEachran -Luiz(does play DMF aswell) -Sturridge -Kakuta -new signing(s)?
  7. Transparent fabrication this story
  8. I've got a feeling Torres will score his first one for Chelsea when given a proper chance.
  9. Eldo has a valid point. As much as you all, I'd like to see Josh do great things for the club, but everything must come gradually, he must earn a spot not just storm in as a boy wonder. He is 17 and not the bulkiest, and strength is something you need in EPL. As fragile as our state is atm, we better not start experimenting with youngsters. At the moment, im more than sure that experienced players will come more handy. I agree on Josh having a great technique and all that but let's say he makes a big mistake that costs us the game, he will be shattered - physically and mentally , grats thats one less potential star for Chelsea. I think for this season getting runouts and living into the first team squad will do, perhaps give just a bit more playing time , but other than that i think he is coming along just great. The next season is another story and im sure he will get more regular playing time. Just be patient, because in the end of the day - less is more. KTBFFH
  10. Sacking him won't do us any good. Who do we get as a replacement? SAF and Wenger been in their clubs for a long time and thus managed to establish trust and stability. We need that stability, along with 1-2 players in, a few out. I must admit this 'bad moment' has been going on for tad too long but sacking won't do any good. I wouldn't even dare to criticize the man before season ends. I'm tired of lotteries called "Pick a manager", lets stick to Ancelotti and see where he takes us. Didn't see anyone crying for sack when we were winning by 5-8 goals over and over again. Patience guys.
  11. Be strong mate, know what you mean. I only know two Chelsea fans and one of them is my brother. Rest are Manchester United fans, which is a real shame. They never understand that referees pamper them and can't admit the obvious fact that they've been lucky. In all honesty, if Chelsea doesn't win the title I hope it's Manchester City. Couldn't stand ManU fans rubbing it, or Arsenal fans for that matter. Disgusting bunch of wankers they are. Come on Chels! KTBFFH On topic: Why'd you want to bench Essien? I honestly think he has been doing fine or not worse then anyone else in midfield. He is a DMF not a creative midfielder, we really lack a player with flare and vision in midfield and thats where our woes start. Against Fulham compulsory win and let's keep fingers crossed no Chelsea player gets injured during this utterly pointless international friendlies.(Estonia meets Bulgaria, woo!)
  12. Fully deserved, plays with passion and works for 2 on the field
  13. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2287202,00.html He seems like a really nice guy. No drama queen, takes it like a man really. Respect that
  14. Cech did a few brilliant saves against Liverpool. I'd rather point to our tactics and link between midfield and forwards. We lack a good quality playmaker with vision, pace and technique. Every successful team has one. You can argue that we've got Lampard but he is playing so deep nowadays that he can rarely shoot or get forward. Barcelona has Xavi, Inter has Snejider and so on. We need either a quality AMF or wide players to strech defensive blocks Inter, Man City and Liverpool tend to use nowadays.
  15. We need top four finish though, can't play around that much.
  16. I can't believe how negative the media is. Sure we didn't have the best game but nor did Liverpool. But in all fairness I think some players did a good job - for example John Terry, Ashley Cole, David Luiz and even Michael Essien. Our midfield and strikers were overshadowed by wall of defenders, can't expect them to beat two or three defenders solo and have a decent shot on goal after that, impossible. We lacked wide players to stretch them out. When we switched to 4-3-3 gaps started to appear in Liverpool defence and I might have worked if we started with 4-3-3. Benching either Torres or Drogba isn't bad because it'll help Torres to adjust with the system aswell as give Drogba a much needed rest and reality call. We will bounce back, surely. KTBFFH By the way, the gameplay was really familiar to the two Inter games last year in Champions League. Clarke and Mourinho know everything about the club, the players and so on so that worked against us aswell.
  17. This line-up is godlike. We should try it. On topic: I think it's going to be a compulsory win for us, has to be. I can see us win 3-0 or 3-1. KTBFFH
  18. He brought Luiz in as a CB and Ivanovic moved to RB position.
  19. It would be nice to find a way for Torres and Drogba to click together but if it isn't we shouldn't force it. Drogba has been poor recently, perhaps it would motivate him if he'd be benched. Last time he was benched, he came off and scored. Also against Arsenal if I remember correctly. Using Bosingwa as a winger isn't a bad idea though. In my eyes Ashley Cole, JT, Luiz, Essien (don't know what some guys are on about), Kalou and even Bosingwa were alright. Torres wasn't bad either given the circumstances. Malouda was like always - bit idle at time but created a chance late on. Lampard was transparent for his standards. But we need to understand that they used tactic in which they over flow the midfield, making ours look bad/useless. Can't underestimate the effect of Clarke either, just like Mourinho with Inter last season. After that defeat according to the media we were 'surely' going to clean out 60% of the players and buy every moving object in the world. Didn't happen and we won the double. Let's just soak this in and support our team. There will be good moments in this season and I'm sure during those periods there'll be plenty of fans behind the team but we need to stick together right now aswell. KTBFFH
  20. Spot on... hopefully more rebellious fans will understand this also . +1
  21. No, he stays. Can't believe it. Last year we scored 103 goals in epl, won all of the big 4 games, won the Double and now after this loss, when club needs support the most, we bail out. I'd rather look at our attack options, perhaps it's time for a rebuilding? Who'd you replace him with - Rafa Benitez, Martin O'Neil, Sam, Rijkaard? Stop the nonsense. The quality of this league is amazing, this defeat serves us as a reality check, we need to learn and stop sobbing and going on about " a bad moment", no time for that, we need a good one.
  22. We are starting to sound like Wenger saying "But we play nice football", hell with that, we need to be better tactically and as TEAM. Can't wait for Fulham game. In my eyes Liverpool did well and fair play to them. The referee had his stamp on the game but that's hardly a thing we can lean onto. Head up, let's go. That's what champions do, not sulk and get into eachothers throats. Cheer up guys!
  23. That wasn't the question. I asked which game is a 'less important' game? Doesn't matter if we lose to Wolves, Sunderland, Arsenal, Birmingham or Liverpool. Every game is important for us in order to reach top 4 this season. English league is without any doubt the strongest of leagues.
  24. You're treated well. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do behave please. There's a saying "Everything you do, you do it for yourself"
