How has he been playing so far? Is he still on for the 2nd half?
-
We need to do some substitutions, can't get any worse can it? Drogba was pretty good for 20 mins or so, then vanished. Malouda showed some good moves, then only gave bad basses, vanished. Lampard who? Anelka who? Zhirkov, Benayoun,Torres, I'd introduce them

Bold line-up, lets have it, come on chelsea Does anyone have any decent streams?
-
Ouch, tough words from him. I must say I agree with him, we should really give him more chances than he has had so far. I think he is club's best dribbler and always creates couple of good chances for the team.

4-1 Torres Torres Drogba Lampard

So talkChelsea should have millions of active users, because they surely have to be a member of this community to be regarded as a Chelsea fan? When I first started following Chelsea I didn't read forums at all. Then after a couple of years I registred to Estonian football board, and years after that I thought it'd be nice to read what foreign fans think and to see what nationalities they are etc. Since then I've been as active as I can be. I never claimed I knew all of your views, I claim that some of your posts are unreasnobly stated. Bad mouthing Ancelotti, no explanation given, perhaps writing on emotions, who knows. I can still disagree with you even if I haven't read your posts you've made years ago. I do believe Ancelotti deserves more respect than "Cl manager my arse" after losing a competetive match what could have ended either way had we taken our chances. Ancelotti can't go on the field and score some easy chances we've missed and turned out to be game/season defining, he can't spiritually mend Benayoun, Alex, Drogba and Lampard, he can't make players bullet proof, quess what - noone can. I'm sorry if I offended you, never were my intentions. I believe we've misunderstood eachother.

A win please, any will do. Deep inside me I wish for a comfortable win, great boost for the players, perhaps Torres can get a goal or two, as good a chance as it gets

Bit late but happy birthday mate

Wise words Lampard: Don't get mad, get even.

Who would you pick: Aguero, Neymar, or Lukaku
MetsajCFC replied to Chelsea Zone's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Well said, we got finishers - Drogba, Torres, Sturridge. We have no wingers, Malouda is class but his days are simply counted for unless we see a miracle. I'd be suprised and utterly disappointed if we didn't sign 2-3 players this summer at least. We need to keep one eye on left back(thank god we've got Van Aanholt), attacking midfielder(playmaker) and both wingers. Ramires is superb but I'm afraid he is a cetral player. -
Agree with your views, well said Styles

I might have been hasty but I'm fed up when hypocritical people come singing " ANCELOTTI OUT" song after every loss, without much facts, nothing. I don't see them doing that when we are winning. This season has been fucked up and it doesn't matter if you're SAF Mourinho or Ancelotti, you can't bake bread out of shit, simple as that.
-
Perhaps mate, OT question, Rio was kind of agressive both times, that allowed?
-
Don't need to, you show your true colors with one post. Group phases and knock out phase went perfectly, as it did last year. Now we have a tough opponent and we lose 0-1, still have second leg ahead of us and many are quick to jump to conclusions. Very fast trigger finger you've got mate. Sometimes you can raise your hands up and admit that we played badly and were overplayed, but it doesn't mean we can only put it on Ancelotti, perhaps it's the out of form players - just a thought?
-
The first one could have easily been a stumble, only he knows. Second one was dive and he got booked. The fact that he did that shows that he wants a result for the team and gives a damn about the game, good sign in my book especially after we were denied a clear cut penalty. You'd be praising him right now if we had that given, no doubt.

Kostas and Henrique, you sound like gloryhunters. Every manager has bad seasons, bad moments and you go making judgements based on nothing. The battle is not over and there have been things going against us that ARE NOT dependant on Ancelotti. Sure, he has made mistakes, but he has also made really good calls, don't see you mention those. I'm 100% behind Carlo, stability will be a lot more beneficial in the long term for the club. Btw, I love the way people like Kostas Henrique and Blue Heart come bragging and showing off their google knowledge and hammering Ancelotti, when was the criticism when we won the double? Get back to Barca boards, fans like you make me throw up, your arguments seem to be based on playing FIFA or FM, nothing in it Thumbs up to eldo

Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard/Benayoun if he is fit and alright against Wigan Kalou - Drogba - Torres
-
Come on mate, it wasn't that bad. We will have Alex back as CB, Ivan as RB. Btw isn't Bosingwa's contract running out this summer?
-
We will win either way, everthing that could have gone wrong - did tonight, so we got nothing to lose. We know it, players know it, CA knows it - why should he care what Abra thinks if he is under fire anyway? It's on now...
-
Very true. People tend to forget that we needed to score either way. Even if it was 1-1 tonight. We don't need to win at Old Trafford, we can score 1 and keep them at bay and push for penalties or score one more. We are being way too pessimistic, we do have a chance. Even Inter fancy their chances, and I do believe that Inter will overturn that deficit, it's football.
-
It's because they have FLAIR, they don't need to ONLY pass to get past people, they have half the team capable of dribbling past 2-3 and then passing, creating loads of space. Where as we have 3 blue players around 1 red and we still lose out, leaving Rooney unmarked to slot home. That's the difference. And we can't blame CA here because we don't know how fit Benayoun is. On paper he would have been great but we don't know what's going on. 0-1 is not the end of the world and I'd rather see us going down fighting than moaning about a penalty. Fuck that
-
Let's stay level headed, shall we?
-
Perhaps we should try new players against Wigan: Ivan-Alex/Luiz-JT-Cole Yossi-Mikel-Lampard-Malouda/Zhirkov Drogba-Kalou
-
I usually don't like when people say overhaul the team but I'm in your boat, changes are needed, we have NO FLAIR what so ever. I'd rather take players like Hernandez, who was considered unknown but works his socks off every game. If we buy players like Torres etc, the pressure just piles. We need changes
