  1. Just shows that no matter how developed(Haiti, Thailand or Japan) or prepared man-kind is, we're no match for Mother Nature, and never will. Sincere sympathies to everyone.
  2. Will save Ancelotti the selection headache. My point stands, we've got our own youth, no need for Neymar and Lukaku, as of now. Let's see how things go with Sturr and Kakuta
  3. We need to take it as if it was 0-0. Assumption is mother of all f'ckups. Don't be so arrogant, they are a good side and if Nico hadn't taken those two chances, the prospect of 0-0 draw would have been more than realistic. Start with our usual line-up - perhaps switch Ashley Cole->Zhirkov and give some other players a game off to be at their maximum for City given the fact that it could very well decide out top4 finish fate. Though I doubt any player wants to sit out during a knock out phase of a game of Champs League. If we are 1-0 or 2-0 up we should getting in McEachran and the likes. Getting a goal for Torres would be a massive bonus and boost, would give him the confidence and take pressure off to some extent against City.
  4. That's yet another reason why we should break those crybabies up. There's no room for player power. I agree with the Agüero-Sanchez buy. If Agüero is going to move, it'll be this summer. But you also have to think about Bosingwa, he is on his last months of contract, he might not be here. Otherwise I like your thinking and the pricing isn't as utopistic as others seem to think. HSV and Galatasaray are to offer 10~ for Kalou (not too much off), Drogba was worth 30mil during last summer, 12 now isn't unreasnoble. I'd sell Anelka and Malouda for the sole reason that I don't like their attitude at all, they sulk, they flop, rarely perform and if they do, they expect to be in the starting line-up for the whole season. I'd keep Kalou though. We don't need Lukaku, we've got Sturridge. In fact I believe Lukaku and Neymar are more of media hype than anything, we've got Borini, Sturridge and Kakuta and can't see a place for either Neymar or Lukaku.
  5. Terminator, stop being itchy bitchy whiney sulker and see things positively, Believe me ,will do you good, mate
  6. At this point I voted No and third. Couple of weeks back we were talking about how nice it'd be if we did some damage limitation and finish in fourth. Now mathematically third place is ours to lose and we get more hungry as we 'eat'. If we manage to get the gap with United to 3 before we play them at OT, I'd say we can do it. Otherwise I think its still a bit too far fetched. Hope dies last, anythings possible, the gap just was 15 points, now its 9 with game in hand.
  7. A must win, if we win every game (10 games left) we'll win the title, I'm sure. Having said that we need to take it game by game and Man City at home is a must win. Shut Tevez down and we cut their scoring chances massively.Silva has been on quite some form aswell. With Torres and Luiz I see us as favourites. It's going to be leagues best defence versus leagues second best defence. Going to be cagy and nervous affair, like always. Can't see more then 2-3 goals scored. I think 2-0 / 2-1 / 1-0 for Chelsea. Would be absolutely crucial for our Champions League spot fight. We'd go third with a game in hand and ready to pounce on any mistake Arsenal/United make, and one of them HAS to drop points when they meet each other later in the season. Stay positive, trust in Torres and hope for the best. KTBFFH
  8. Hold your horses, Torres plays for Chelsea Fc not the other way around. If someone looks bad , its the whole team, down to the physios... and could say fans who can't be realistic and face that no service acutally does mean no goals. There are numerous of goals that Torres has crafted for himself in the past, eg the Blackburn goal out of nowhere. So in that sense Drog isnt that extraordinary. It's just Torres style of play, cant blame him for that, has worked for him in the past. Point being, Rome was not built in a day, neither are we. If we want Torres to blend in properly, the least we can do is not moan like little girls about Torres goals. Team win>Personal glory, always.
  9. Bunch of whiners who expect a hat-trick from Torres every game. Face the reality , no service - no goals. Main thing is that the team wins. Even if Torres scores only 1 gole the whole campaign and we finish in the top 4, I'd be happy, because there is always the next season.
  10. + 3-1 victory + 3 points above Tottenham + 2 points away from Man City and third place, 1 game in hand (next game is with city) - sloppy play - no torres goal - zhirkov, Drogba were the exact opposites to their displays against manu
  11. Who cares about them? Its us who got 3 points, we aren't supposed to humiliate evey opponent, its not la liga. No service, no goals, easy as that for Torres, it'll come.
  12. Kalou welcome back, continue where u left off, missing sitters. and why is malouda ignoring torres?
  13. Lalalalalalalala fernando torres chelsea number nine, love the way our away support chants..hope torres bags one now
  14. At first i thought it wasnt a penalty but replay shows clear penalty
  15. Lets give Zhirkov time, 45mins too early to judge. Malouda had a season to play and prove himself.. hasn't been a jewel has he?
  16. Hope we get second to calm the nerves
  17. Brave line-up, i like it, would like it even more if we come out with a result that suits us KTBFFH
  18. As much as I'd love to defend him, he has been the worst player of the squad in my eyes. I'd sell him till we can.
  19. I think we only need Sanchez. And only Sturridge and McEachran are ready for first team. Kakuta doesn't even get that much playing time in Fulham, let's not talk about Chelsea. Keep others on loan and let them develope. If we rush theres only a lose-lose situation.
  20. Contract extensions may also indicate that he might not come cheap for potential suitors. A way for a club to say if you want him so badly, cough up
  21. Essien was amazing against Manchester United and the game before that he was near his old self. I'd bench Malouda, Anelka. Start Drog-Torres and Zhirkov in left midfield
  22. We won United, Essien got MOTM. Let's not fix something that isn't broken: 4-4-2 - Cech --- Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole --- Ramires-Essien-Lampard-Zhirkov --- Torres-Drogba I read that Luiz might have a slight injury so it might be Bosingwa-Ivanovic-Terry-Cole My prediction: 3-1 for Chelsea
