  1. You expect too much. If Essien had a tough game physically what would McEachran do? He is a slender figure and still young. I agree that he should get some playing time but not now. It's crunchtime in the season and we HAVE to finish top4 not care about what one player wants. Ferreira - I hope it was a joke because we had Ivanovic on bench. This isn't about Ancelotti because we just don't take our chances and make silly mistakes.
  2. 3-0 Cassano (pen.) - Cassano booked for taking off his shirt while celebrating. One minute later stupid tackle and he is sent off. Red card in 2 minutes, well done Cassano.
  3. The thing with professional sport is that at some point players just start performing badly. It's the time to either refocus and shape up or change the level you're playing on. Agree with every post so far
  4. FT, Mourinho's record ended, Barcelona Champions?
  5. It might just happen, damn.
  6. Right first emotions are gone. Was a poor second half though. After first half goal I though this can be saved, that a win is very much in our grasp. I'm not pissed that we dropped points as long as we finish in top4. Stoke were really physical and dirty. At some point they kept "getting hurt" and wasted time. Must say though that to come away with a point after they hit the post/bar 2-3 times is alright. Cech had a superb game. Malouda and Bosignwa just not up for it.
  7. Cech - 8.5 - two-three great saves, surely saved us a point. Would get 9 if he didn't make a mess of some set pieces. Bowingwa - 4 - typical Bosingwa. I can see he wants to play and perform but it isn't happening. Can't defend, can't cross/dribble past defence. Caught high up field to set up Stoke's goal. Booked D.Luiz - 5 - Perhaps not the Luiz we're used to see, first goal goes partly on his name, but otherwise solid Terry - 5 - Nothing special, seemed distracted A.Cole 7 - Tirelessly ran up and down the left flank, had to make up for Malouda's lack of work-rate Ramires 7 - Good linkup play with others, seemed to be the link between midfield and strikers and it showed. Essien 5 - Nothing special either, few bad passes, ball losses. Had ok game Lampard 6 - Did create some chances, had two great shots parried by Begovic. as the game wore on he turned transparent Malouda 4 - Absolutely nothing to show for this game. Seemed to take our tempo off, when he passed the ball it was a situation of "you deal with this one" Drogba 7.5 - Scored our goal with fantastic header. Almost scored with a superb twisted volley that hit the bar. Good ball control but don't understand the last corner kick solution. Disappeared from the game when Torres was introduced. Anelka 5 - Assisted Drogba. Bit slow at times, nothing special either. Not a good show from the veteran ---------------------- Kalou 5 - The usual supersub didn't turn up, transparent and fell too easily but also created a few chances, neat touch. Torres 6 - Good pace, good vision. Perhaps too eager to pass, might have had a shot himself at one point. Ivanovic 6 - Came on late on, lost ball a few times, otherwise solid.
  8. I'm afraid so mate. We're running on the same core for ages now but it's getting old, it's getting predictable. When Torres came on, Drogba disappeared. Kalou wasn't able to link anything and what pissed me off was his falling, he could of stayed up couple of times but instead hit the grass and lost the ball. Thank you Cech, the only reason we didn't lose this game. I'm not even pissed because we drew, because it's probably a fair result, but the way we drew. We didn't dominate the second half like we did in the first, if anything Stoke was pressing and making our midfield look stupid. Ramires and Luiz weren't as good as they have been so far. Lampard was alright, had 2 absolute rockets saved by Begovic, on one occasion Anelka should of slotted it home but didn't anticipate the blunder by Begovic. Malouda has given up mentally, he doesn't give the spark we need and expect to get from a winger, he drops deep and is more in the midfield rather than on flanks. Bosingwa was rubbish aswell - he is sort of player that you can't change your opinion about, he has brilliant moments and than comes crashing down with a stupid egoistic shot or loses easy ball or dirbbles and loses ball or just gives a poor poor cross. When we switched to 4-3-3 we didn't press at all anymore, shows that our midfield can not handle it or that our front line is weak. Torres had some good moments, can't say anything bad about him. Cech MOTM, surely. Come on blues, shape up, wake up, man up.. Champions league on wednesday
  9. Positive: - Tottenham drew - Liverpool lost Negative: -Chelsea draw, but we could have lost it aswell, all credits to Stoke. We had luck that they hit the post/bar 2-3 times. They had luck we hit woodwork aswell. - Malouda
  10. Eldo, try defending Malouda but he is a disgrace, on a bad form, bad mental state, bad solutions. What ever it is he should sort it out on the bench and get out in the summer to chase his Brazil "dream". Fucking hell and that last corner what the fuck was he thinking?
  11. How come Begovic took backpass with hands? it was his own defender who passed back
  12. On a positive note, Drogba has been superb SO FAR
  13. Malouda has made so many bad passes, he slows the game down and in situations where he could move forward he takes the play back to JT and Luiz. Sometimes he over tries and dribbles-loses the ball while he could have a good lob into the box. He is SLOW. Ashley cole is working for the whole left wing, that's the only thing that keeps Malouda on water. Get him off, he is a disgrace

  15. If he's off form there's no need to risk him against Stoke thugs. Rather have him fresh and ready for Utd, when it really counts.

  17. I read it on goal.com I think, that CA had said something like "Torres has a slight problem", hope it's nothing.
  18. I hope to see 4-4-2 Cech Ivanovic - D.Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Essien - Lampard - Zhirkov Torres - Drogba We keep praising their physical approach but look at our team - we are known for our strength and power. As long as we don't give away stupid chances and keep missing ours, we'll get the result. By the way, whats the story with Torres' injury niggle?
  19. Come on Chelsea! Make us proud! Absolutely vital not only for our title chances (I'd be happy if we finish third given the season we've had, you can't become champion after 2 weeks of bad moment) but also for our confidence against ManU in midweek. I think it's going to be a good game. If I had to predict, I'd say 2-0 or 3-0 for Chelsea.
  20. We've got finishers like Anelka, Torres, Drogba, Sturridge. We need someone who can win the game with his individual brilliance (on the video most of Agüero's goals are solo ones or great great shots) and who can dribble, has physique of a Sherman tank. Agüero it is.
  21. Just stop it, you're ruining the topic. Just either of you be the bigger man and zip it
