TX is Modric and BlueLion is Levy who can't back down anymore, interesting times But in all seriousness, I think Term X has been one of the best if not the best poster on this forums. His only downside in my eyes is his at times juvenile/cocky attitude, but at the same time I think some people often misinterpret him and assume he is causing havoc. I don't see a reason he shouldn't be given "legend" tag, seeing that reputation points and tags are somehow so popular here. If he doesn't "deserve" it, who does.. no offence to the current legends though

I'm really excited. Some of you sound like pedophiles - "anything over 25 is bad".. get a grip 27-30 are the best years for a footballer. He also had time to settle in EPL at Anfield.. had a great season, gives competition to Lampard and Ramires for that matter.. has a good shot, can be a threat from a long range and that's what we've been missing. I repeat this is not a damn FM11 or Xpert11, this is real life.. he'll be brilliant if given the right chance and SUPPORT. He also has worked under AVB before, played with Torres before as well. Had we made Mata+Meireles signing last night together, we'd be all praising CFC board. I think they've done a brilliant job this summer. Getting in youth, especially Mata and Lukaku, didn't let Sturridge slip away, loans for Kakuta in Bolton, got rid of some youth players they knew weren't going to cut it yet. Loan deal for Yossi to Arsenal, so he can't play against us. I think it's a great line up, we have a good bench as well now. Face it, there are LOADS of games coming up. One injury and otherwise we would have been fucked but now there's cover for everyone. Who would have replaced Lampard for instance? McEachran surely will get playing time and rightly so, but he will never replace Lampard, not yet. Meireles is CM and DMF as well.

I'm sure Boas has an insurance from the club that he won't be sacked, otherwise a 33 year old manager wouldn't have come here to ruin his reputation while he had a chance to stay in Porto and play in Champions League. Tomo rightly brought out the fact that so many players are on their last year of contract (presumably anyway), meaning that we won't have to pay them any compensation. We keep them for a year, get the best out of them and see them off next summer. I can see busy year next summer. Buying Lukaku, Romeu, Davila, Mata and even Meireles shows that he has long term plans. And don't forget Sturridge, who will be a starter this year hopefully.. McEachran as well if he can get more minutes here. Keep in mind McEachran is just 18! - in two-three years time he will still be very young player and seen as the future so let's give him time and he'll work magic for us. Great signings, great manager so far. Inserting his vision so quickly. Last game or two we've lacked finishing not chances, that's up to strikers and players in general to step up. With Mata and Meireles I really do think we're in a good shout to finish top3 and do nicely in FA cup and Carling cup. I personally am not expecting much from this season as it is a transitional season really. Support AVB and not be so negative always, he's been brilliant.
