  1. 2 goals so far for Brazil national team against Denmark. Game is still only at 40 minutes
  2. You don't need to sign Ronaldo, Messi, Drogba or Fabregas in order it to be a excellent and worth-the-money-signing. I believe he is what we are missing. Not to pressure the guy though, he is just 23. In my eyes very good signing, £6.5m, Euros coming up and we'll have a chance to see him there aswell.
  3. Ramires against Barcelona at Nou Camp... BRILLIANT!
  4. I couldn't think of a proper CAM that is available and worth the money at the moment
  5. INS: Cheick Tioté, Demba Ba, Eden Hazard, César Azpilicueta, Hulk + use McEachran, Piazon, Courtois, Lukaku, De Bruyne OUTS: Kalou, Malouda, Drogba, Essien, Bosingwa, Hilario, Benayoun, Meireles, Mikel, Ferreira
  6. Tragedy really... Rest in peace. It's beyond me how these kinds of things can happen in world class level sports where there should be constant health monitoring.
  7. Cavani, but that would mean we'd sell off Torres and Drogba leaves or takes lesser role, which he won't. Cavani, Sturridge and Lukaku are the only CFs we need
  8. Result is the most important thing at the moment, I personally don't even care about the fluency or how pretty the gameplay is. Well done, could have easily been more hadn't we smashed the woodwork three or even more times I'm positive we'll progress in the Champions League, we just need to win 2-0, that's it. We rested (well, partly) some of our key players, they should be fresh.
  9. It's not about support anymore, it's common sense. We can't win anything if we change staff like socks and Chelsea (board, players) have been very unjust to Andre Villas-Boas. Face it, he deserves more
  10. I am truly sorry for AVB. He had players who didn't give a damn about winning games, the club nor the manager. This player power bullshit is pissing me off, enough is enough. I'll be honest, I'd be glad to see the likes of Lampard, Drogba, Bosingwa, Kalou, Mikel, Meireles, Malouda, Torres etc go, get new, fresh, hungry players in who are picked by the new manager. This decision is even more baffling than sacking of Ancelotti who won us the double. We're dealing with a case of bunch of players who don't care and can't play football at the Chelsea level anymore and board who has a quick trigger finger and blind-folds on. How come they can't see its the players who are underperforming. Sad, we need major changes now.. can't imagine if we'll miss out of Champions League places.. Keep the blue flag flying high
  11. Just as you think it couldn't get worse.. We need to revamp the squad, it's not the manager. AC Milan had this problem - loads of veteran players who used to be best at their trade but time takes its toll. You can't be a competetive player forever, whoever you are. They brought in Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Boateng and many more players instead of sacking managers although their results were awful at times. Look at them now, on the road of grabbing consecutive Scudetto if they win the race against Juventus. New players, new era, same manager is what we need in my eyes. KTBFFH
  12. Ramires for me, what a player he is. Creates chances out of nothing, Mata was also brilliant with Lampard.
  13. Sell off dead wood players -Kalou -Malouda -Ferreira -Benayoun -Bosingwa - maybe even perhaps Mikel (been sloppy, careless, doesn't seem to care anymore), Essien (great person and player but not the same anymore, injury p rone and age factor will soon be a problem) and Torres (Chelsea doesn't need extra pressure from the press for Torres' underperformance, if he doesn't get things going before season ends then I don't see a way back for him) to free up much needed funds and reduce wage bill Sign a attacking midfielder, solid centre midfielder, a striker, winger and a SB. (could also be youngsters, but those are the positions we need to re-vamp) I'd hate to see Drogba and Lampard leave us, rather see them retire as Chelsea players, as Chelsea legends
  14. I think Ramires was great today, few others were playing nice as well, for example Ivanovic and Mata, despite the missed penalty. The game of football has moved on, every "successful" team nowadays has really agile, quick and pacy players, but we don't. We need to move on from the Mourinho era squad and get some really fast and technically sound players in and to balance to books, let quite a few old core players go - for example Lampard, Drogba, Kalou, Malouda, perhaps even Essien. We need changes in the dressing room but for the sake of God, don't sack AVB.
  15. Well said mate. You can use any tactics and be whoever but if your players play like shite and aren't used to tactics, you can't expect to have instant impact. Things take time. For me, the problem is not Andre Villas-Boas but the players. I find it our absolute priority to get new blood in and just let old core go, players like Malouda, Drogba, Lampard etc.. time's up and we need to move on
  16. Hoping to see this one. Haven't had the chance to see any Chelsea game in a while due to military.. team looks good on paper but results are not that solid.. come on you Chels
  17. Seems like it's done more or less! Welcome to the Bridge Cahill
  18. I'll try re-vamp my team and be competative the coming season. I'm not sure how active I can be because I can't get constant Internet access until June because of service in the military. Either way I'll try getting back into the game. Good luck everyone and have a peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year!
