  1. Kills me to say this because ive always been a huge fan of Malouda but its pretty clear that with his performances in the last few months he should really be thanking his lucky starts if he as much as gets on the bench. Yes he may have been our best player at the start of the season and one of our best at the end of last season but that shouldn't mean he is an automatic starter now, he has been woefully out of form for a long time and he is making the rest of our current strickers (even on recent form) look like world beaters. I didnt watch the game today but from what ive heard he has been no better than in recent weeks. Yes Drogba, Anelka, Kalou and Torres have hardly been lighting the world up lately but in select games in the past month or 2 there have been positive signs that there on the way to getting there form back (same with Essien and Lampard). Drogba against Utd, Stoke (from what i heard he did ok) and City. Anelka against Sunderland and Copenhagen. Lampard against Blackpool, Utd and City. Kalou against Blackpool and City. Torres against Utd, Copenhagen and from what i heard today. Essien against Utd and City. Malouda i honestly can't think of a game since autumn where he has shown signs that he could be returning to form soon, its hard to see where his next decent contribution is going to come from let alone a goal or an assist. Zhirkov ripped Utd apart when he came on a few weeks ago and at Old Trafford last year, he deserves a start against Utd IMHO. The business end off last season and the start of this when he was on fire i was the first to rant and rave about him but now he is woefully off form and constantly including him will do our team more harm than good.
  2. I think your being way to kind there, im thinking more on the lines of the reserves.
  3. How many times have we played after united now? puts pressure on our players. We aint played before united since mid January when we played Blackburn at home and since then the only time weve played at the same time as them was the Sunderland game and when we actually fucking played the cunts. Last season we had to play 3 of our last 5 games after Man.Utd it was pretty clear where sky's loyalty's lied and it put HUGE pressure on us, while playing before them once and at the same time as them once. SKY SPORTS ARE A FUCKING JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Its over Sporting have just won at the Bernabeu. But even so its still an incredible record that no club, other manager or player has got near and most probably never will.
  5. I could'nt watch the match, for any-one who did what were the player ratings? Title over, just have to focus on tn CL and enjoy the rest of the games, thankfully Spurs are bottling it big time.
  6. forgot about that, even so thats a bit of a sick joke to make up.
  7. Ive checked both BBC and sky sports websites and nothing, wilson you got a source?
  8. A host of top Premier League clubs are ready to battle each other - and FIFA - in a bid to sign top WOMAN Brazilian footballer Marta Vieira da Silva. MirrorFootball can reveal that Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are locked in a six-way fight with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona for the 25-year-old, who is a five-time winner of the FIFA Player of the Year award and is known as "Pele in a skirt" in Brazil. But whichever club wins the race will then have to persuade FIFA to allow her to compete in men's competition, in what would be an astonishing first for top flight professional football. Scouts from a raft of clubs have been watching Marta, 25, play in the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league in the USA and are convinced that not only could she cut it in the men's game in England, but that she could be a top star. An insider from one of the clubs chasing her said: "She is a really exciting player with some typically-Brazilian tricks and flicks - but above all she's a goalscorer and we think she could make a big impact once she gets used to the pace and physicality of the Premier League." Marta moved to Western New York Flash earlier this year but Albertin Montoya, her coach at previous club FC Gold Pride, is full of praise for his former charge. "Not only is she the most talented player in the world, she's the hardest worker," he said. "I've never seen a competitor like her. She's so creative with the ball, and that's what draws attention, but underneath that talent, she simply has the will to be the best." Marta herself, who has scored 56 goals in just 55 games for Brazil and was the first ever winner of the women's Ballon d'Or, said she doesn't think she would have a problem cutting it in the men's game. She said: "I play all the time with my male friends who are also professionals. We have the ability, we have the technique, we have the tactics. "A lot of people say my style is patterned after Ronaldinho's," she added. But FIFA are blocking any move and insisting the gender-separation principle in football must be maintained. The rule was tested in 2004 when Mexican club Celaya tried to sign female player Maribel Dominguez. FIFA's executive committee banned the move, insisting "there must be a clear separation between men's and women's football". But representatives from the club's chasing Marta are lobbying FIFA in a bid to get them to reverse their position. The insider said: "Our stance is, if she's good enough, why not let her play?" In 2003, Italian team Perugia tried to sign German World Cup winner Birgit Prinz, which would have made her the first female player in Serie A, but once again they were thwarted by the governing body. If any of the Premier League clubs are successful in signing da Silva then they have to register her by midday on April 1, 2011. http://www.mirrorfoo...icle718709.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personally i would be all for this move. Who cares if she's a women? from what i can read in that article she is proven quality and that's always welcome at Stamford Bridge, if she's good enough to mix it in top class men's football (which she clearly is) then i am more than happy to see her in a blue shirt. Id rather sign a top class female footballer than a shit male one thats for sure. What's your views?
  9. I believe in him Personally i think his injury is holding him back and he is a bit raw at the moment, only reason i didnt mention him here is because he is more of a winger than a CM, but i would be absolutely gutted if we sold him.
  10. Im guessing by the comments that this is a long term fued
  11. Both are teenagers so depsite their obvious talent asking them to walk into the Premier League and hit the ground running would be a huge ask either way. I honestly can't see why we cant get both, remember we found out to our cost earlier this season that these days its a squad game and being over-reliant on too many players will cost us. In a couple of years Drogba, Anelka and Malouda will mroe than likely be gone (im near certain atleast 2 of them will be) thats where they can come into their own. Neymar, Torres, Lukaku and Sturridge, the options and variety there. Thats my view but as zolayes said we might aswell wait till the summer or it will drive us all insane thinking about it, there be no football of any note in the summer so then were have plenty of free time, lets just enjoy our football till may
  12. I'm somehow under the impression tx and madmax aint best mates
  13. Twice was to watch Chelsea play, the other time i had the choice of Arsenal V Leicester with my dad or knitting lessons with my mum so reluctantly choose football, have to say it was one off the most boring 90 minutes of my life, even the chips tasted like piss.
  14. White Hart Lane is a shithole. Did you ever go to Highbury? been there 3 times and seen nicer public toilets.
  15. I remember a few years ago on the football league show Warnock's Palace were robbed by the ref and Warnock correctly said "here are a list of things Ferguson has said about this ref, but i can't say them because ill get into trouble".
  16. We will need more than 1 and if Drogba goes there will be more than enough room for another. Neymar can play on both wings and play up front when Torres cant play, Lukaku is one for the future aswell, think 5 years when Torres is 31 and those 2 will be approaching there prime, Torres is for the immediate future (IE 5/6 years) Lukaku and/or Neymar will be the long term future (12 years). We found out to our cost earlier this season its a squad game these days and there is no hiding from that.
  17. Will any one be able to make a avatar of Carlo, blue background and IN CARLO WE TRUST at the bottom, thank you so much if you can
  18. Good luck for tommorow (or today which-ever way you look at it) were all rotting for you mate)
  19. Suppose but you never know he might just suprise us
  20. Best forum there is this one, not just Chelsea, not even just football ANY forum going wont top this one.
  21. Hopefully Hernandez starts, he's shit when he starts but dangerous off the bench (bit like Kalou)
  22. We have had hard nosed negotiators before but managed to see them off (Luiz the prime example). The same will be the case in the summer, Santos will spend all summer claiming they want £40-50m for him and eventually (possibly even on deadline day) they will settle for lower (probally £25m-£30m). The brazillians we already have will give us HUGE advantage no need to beat around the bush with that one. Lets just use this as an example, we were a standard but not great footballer playing non league football and 2 clubs from eastern europe wanted us, Warsaw from Poland and Levski Sofia from Bulgaria for example, Warsaw had 1 person that speaks your language and even that aint very well but Sofia had 5 of your fellow countrymen and about 10 that could speak your language and a fair few that can speak both Bulgarian and your language, there will be only 1 place you will go.
  23. There point per game average when Conor was there was something like 1.7 compared to something like 0.9 when he isnt there. Next season we should loan him for a full season in the championship so he can show us what he is made off.
  24. My point, Carlo should play him further forward, leave the deep-lying stuff to Mikel and if he aint playing Ramires, Josh should go further forward and cause havoc we saw what he did to Newcastle. Playing him in the deep lying role will limit him and i really dont want his attacking instincts killed off by the time he's 20. So please Carlo play him further forward
