  1. Do you remember when we won 3-0 at Old Trafford in 2001, the Journo's were trying everything under the sun to downgrade that victory but they just couldn't accept that their darlings were thumped by "big bad Chelsea" in their own back yard. Infact the score flattered them that day, it could and SHOULD have been 6 or 7, infact it made our performance at home to Sunderland look like Barca's against Real Madrid
  2. Evening fellow Blues, i was just wondering how much football you follow other than the Chelsea games. For me at the start of the season im following football from every angle, i even end up watching non-league football if its on TV especially when theres no summer football on because it aint been on for so long. For the 1st few weeks im watching Match of the Day AND the football league show in full. April/May time when the league's get intresting i like watching it because teams have loads to play for, i like watching a lot of football in general then aswell. But for some reason in the Autumn/Winter time it doesn't really interest me at-all, i love watching Chelsea no matter what time off season but apart from CFC no other football seems to interest me in the middle of the season for some reason. I dont seem to watch highlights apart from when Chelsea are on them. What about you guys, are you interested in football other than Chelsea too or do you find football boring bar our beloved Blues?
  3. Took the words out of my mouth
  4. Both Chelsea and Man.U came through potentially tricky games unscathed and won the match in between 2 champions league quarter finals, neither were that great but did the job but the way the sun put it you think that there was a world's difference between the 2. Man.Utd scored 2 and we got 1, but we infact had more shots than them at the weekend and more possesion in our game, yet Man.Utd are apparently on "top gear" and there performance was a "true sign of champions" yet we were "awful" apparently. Also they were bashing us for the goal we scored claiming it was a foul (which to be fair it was, but weve had a fair share of those go against us) but they failed to mention Utd's criminally offside goal. Also apparently we have no chance of closing a 4 point deficit to Arsenal (despite the fact a couple of years ago we closed an 11 point gap on them in just over 3 weeks and have got a terrible record at this time of the season) but they apparently have every chance of closing a 7 point gap on Utd (despite the fact they rarely let leads like that slip). That is out of order and IMO the guy (Rob Beasley) gunna name and shame him should be sacked, if people like him can make it to journalism i should get a decent shout and it and Alex (Blue Lion) should be the main reporter. Do they realise that there are Man.Utd magazine's they can apply to report from if they want to show their obvious love and affection to them?
  5. I strongly advise NEVER to buy tickers online or on forums unless they come to you. My mate (whos a Utd fan), agreed to buy tickets off this annomous user on a Utd forum, agreed to meet at Old Trafford, when he got there the guy didn't show up and it turned out he gave him either a false number or a old one. So unless they come to where you live or you live within walking distance from the ground DONT DO IT.
  6. Apparently from next season on the team is going to be built around El Nino, so whatever will suit his game will probally happen.
  7. If he does spend big and Arsenal win the league, i cant FUCKING WAIT to see those hypocrites defend doing it.
  8. My expierence of supporting Blues ive seen 5 wins at Old Toilet. 2-1, 3-0, 2-1, 3-1 and 2-1. A repeat of ANY of those will be enough. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. This article is a load of bolax. They call themself's jounalist's when there so obviously up United and Goonie's asses. Might aswell be on their magazines.
  10. I dont honestly think Torres was that bad last wednesday, on another day his 2 shots would have gone in off the post and been too far for Van Der Sar.
  11. good review Was a tough game but good to come out with 3 points.
  12. I only saw the match from the 60th minute so i can't give a true assesment, but from what i saw, Benayoun MUST start in Manchester he was feeding Torres (who i thought changed the game) and if it weren't for the superb AL Habsi Torres could have got a goal possibly 2, they will come im sure of it. But back to the topic how would you rate the players today?
  13. Last time i can re-call us with a Saturday 3 o clock KO on grand natinal day it was at home to Birmingham in 05. It was a return game on the 2nd game of the season (like it is today). Players were rested (like there gunna be today). In between the CL quarter final legs (like todays is) Drogba came of the bench to get us a 1-1 draw. I cant help but feel a case of de ja vu.
  14. If Drogba, Anelka and Malouda's excuse for not playing properly is because they believe Torres is the future and there the past then to be quite frank they need to grow a pair. Giggs at Utd is the past more than he is the future but do you see him refusing to play with Nani and Valencia because they have a bigger future role in the team than him? no, there on thousands of pounds of week and if they didnt play like full up well fed internatinal superstars during the winter months the chances are Torres would not have been signed till the summer at the earliest. Who cares who is more of the future right now the've got just as much as a important part as each other and its about time they put there difference's aside and played like the class players they know they are.
  15. City will never sell to us sadly.
  16. Come back Andy all is forgiven tell you what hopefully he will cover the Liverpool V Man.City game next season, guarentee he will say atleast something bitter and get sacked,
  17. best player in premierleague history better than Henry, Cantona, Van horseface, Owen you name them id take Zola any day of the week. Class player if we had him in the last 7 years only lord knows what we would have won, our teams back in his time werent bad, we just had no depth to our squad.
  18. Over confidence might have been a issue, we ended last season and started this hitting teams for 6,7 and 8, maybe the players got it into their head that they could have carried on doing that all season? Its only natural to get a bit complacent after a few thrashings, i remember when i played for a U14 side we won 4-0, 12-0, 6-1 then 7-0 we played the bottom side in the league at home turned up with the wrong mentality thinking we only need to turn up to dish out more, they scored a early goal defended for their lives and came away with a 1-0 and after that our season went tits up, it wasnt intended arrogance more natural complacency i honestly dont think our players responded to failing to score and win well after getting so use to it and its the same for Chelsea. I think this has contributed to our average season more than the Wilkins saga, complacency. How can a team that was sweeping all before them playing football weve never seen before to rigid and horrifically predictable in the space off less than half a year?
  19. Good post revo. To me they seem to play like well fed internatinal superstars full up with a double.
  20. Why does Rooney get away with celebrating infront of us. Adebayor got banned for doing it to Arsenal fans. why wont Wayne?
  21. Ive only seen bits and bobs off them mate not enough to make a detailed review of them. From the limited time ive seen Sala looks most likely but youd have to ask Esk Weston as he can make a more accurate review
  22. You will know if Drogba does that at the Stretford end, the media will enver shut up slating him.
  23. i read it on some other forum, if i find it again ill send you the link, it sounds a but far fethced there must have been another reason but if that does turn out to be true (which i think and hope is not) i would lose the slightest of respect i even had for Rooney.
  24. Apparently Rooney's celebration when he pointed in the sky was to mock Lampard and the celebration he did for his mum against Liverpool in 08. If thats true its fucking sick even for Rooney's standards.
  25. Both tricky wingers with good pace but i think Carlo prefers Sala to them 2 because when we had an injury crisis it was Sala that was regually making the bench.
