  1. Apparently if Crespo left before Sala arrived he was going to get the number 9.
  2. Can't wait till this season is over and start the next season, since the cup ended this season had petered out somewhat.
  3. Taking factors into consideration this is the best chance we have to beat Everton. Our way of playing in the past suits them down to the ground while playing against the likes of Sturrigde, Mata, Luiz and Raul does not. Also AVB will surely have been in his office all this week watching numerousvideos off our games against Everton in the last 2 maybe 3 season's numerous times over working out where we have gone wrong against them and why Everton have found it so easy to play us. If we don't beat Everton next weekend we never will.
  4. Nearly puked reading that yes critise him for his on pitch performances but to take thing's personally is out of order and too far. Its not real but would ot suprise me if it was something along the lines of that, just a reminder Kalou is a human being with feelings aswel.
  5. Ill rep you for the thread because it's very detailed and correct but i don't think we need to see too much into that goal or this current run of clean sheets or lack off shall i say. We have always occasionaly had a similar run like that lacking clean sheets, even in the Jose years there was a spell in each season were we went a month sometimes more with very few if any clean sheets so i wouldn't worry too much.
  6. Villas Boas in 1/4 English. Plus the reason English managers dont get top chances is because they are not good enough, when Neil Warnock is considered amounst the eilite you know something is wrong.
  7. Apparently its because he wasn't the penalty taker Jol assinged, still strange tho.
  8. Martin Jol is facing a players revolt apparently, Martin Lipton is probally crying and screaming "wrong west london teammmmmmmmm fuck sake".
  9. Yes and if managed correctly i still think he could give us 15 goal season's for 5 more years too.
  10. Dont get me wrong mate im not critisising him just repeating what my mate said
  11. If Tommy posted more often he would overtake Blue Lion in rep points
  12. Incredible, i want him to make it really bad with us now, it would be such a great feat and inspiration to youngsters everywhere.
  13. We beat Everton home in the league cup (4-1) then again in the league at Goodison (3-1) four days later. Arsenal beat us in the FA Cup At Libary then the League at The Bridge in succesive games (both 2-1) turned out to be their last wins over us for 4 years.
  14. There has been on and off talk about this for years, whether we like it or not it is without doubt going to happen eventully. I acutally want us to stay at The Bridge but in reality unlikely now. Should we move we will have to get every single aspect of the move spot on IMO on and off the pitch. Should we have a sustained period of sucess or dare i say it domination under Villas Boas especially playing the dream football Roman wants then we will get quite a few new fans and it would be easier to fill the new ground. Also it might convince AVB to stay for even longer. I really don't want to move to the place that is right on QPR'SE's doorstep that would be horrible. They might knock the Bridge down to expand it which would be the best of the worst options but where would we play for 5 years?
  15. Pretty strange, why has he come back as another user i wonder.
  16. I thought Cech last season was back to his best, he was incredible. I may get slated for this but i honestly believe if it was not for fucking Hunt he could have been one of the if not the best ever he really is that good. He walked into the PL at the age of 22 and smashed every record in the book, during 05/06 he was unbelivable aswell as 04/05, he came back strong in 2007 but since Jose left he declined for a while. 2008/2009 he was having a horrible wobble, he looked really nervous which made for me the decision to sell Carlo baffiling, he started 09/10 in similar way's but there was one game that stood out for me which made me think he is well and truly back. The Arsenal match in 2010 at The Bridge when Drogba scored twice, i thought Cech won us that match, he was commanding, caught every ball, made 2 fantastic saves from Arshavin and Fabregas i said at the time watch out ladies Petr is back and i was spot on, for the rest of that season it was like seeing the Cech of old reborn did not make one single mistake, not even a minor one, as we went on to win the double. Last season IMO was his best season to date, time after time he saved us the matches at home to Wolves and at The Brittania prime examples IMO his two best displays in a Chelsea shirt. How many glaring mistakes has he made for us like jaw dropping close your eyes mistakes? the only one i can think off is in the 4-4 draw with Villa when he dropped Shaun Maloney's shot. I think the massive problem Cech had coming back was the mental barrier from personal expierence in a simlar matter at first you feel fine then later on doubts creep in like, my head if it goes again then real paranio kicks in which i think did for Cech under the Scolari reign but gradually he gets less paranoid and more fearless and eventully gets back to normal. I believe Cech has gone through the whole cycle and will only get better (again) from here on in. He is only 29 which for a goalkeeper is nothing.
  17. @manpe Ferreira is a bit of a showboater at times, i remember in injury time against Arsenal at The Bridge last season he did a trick which took 2 Arsenal players out of the game
  18. if you click www.talkchelsea.net instead of forum.talkchelsea.net it still says the forum has been hacked or it did last time i checked that's why i wasn't on all weekend because i clicked on the former and it kept saying the place was hacked.
  19. He nearly got released by Victoria because of below par performances in that position plus when do defenders who are good going forward do well further up? every one thought Alves would be a beast of a winger but was shite when played there. Also on a side not could you imagine the field day this forum would have had if DAvid Luiz gave away the penalty against Fulham and got sent off instead of Alex?
  20. Good thread. Its pathetic ive made my feelings clear on this many time, what's funny is they slate him for one bad moment at Old Trafford then the same hypocrites tell us we should not judge Vidic on 3 bad games against Liverpool. Its funny how Luiz is regarded as clumsy for doing things Vidic does more frequently and 10 times worse. If ref's had balls Vidic would spent more time banned than on the pitch. The United and CIty home games Luiz single handedly won both at both ends of the pitch, it really is that simple had Luiz not played we would have lost to United and maybe sneeked a draw against City, the guy has been a fucking inspiration even in his cameo against Liverpool he done more in 20 minutes than the other players for both teams (bar Meireles) did for the whole match. Also Fulham a week later he kept running back defending and running forward trying to break Fulham down when the rest of the team looked like they were playing cards. Speaking off the match at Old Trafford i thought he did fantastic considering the early error, Carlo scapegoating him and playing under 70 odd thousand United fans who were and still are clinically obssessed by him. He has made more interceptions than any other prem player last season and only played half off it, much is made over the 2 pen's he gave away but in one of the games we were 3-0 up and the other one was not even a pen. He made a couple of mistakes last season but he done much better than Vidic did in his first 6 months in the prem and done better than Alex and Ivanovic did in their first season as a whole and has not made one mistake this season i don't think, all of his play has been spot on and our most solid defensive displays have been with him on the pitch. I could carry on all day but the point is it annoys me when Luiz gets regarded as a accident waiting to happen based on a couple mistakes, i think the media cannot get over him bullying Wayne their lovechild sad thing is when we play Liverpool he will probally put Gerrard in his place and we will have Scousers obsessed with him aswell as Mancs.
  21. I have been saying this for nearly a year. Malouda, Anelka, Lampard and Drogba need to accept a lesser role as they are getting on to stay more fresh and prolong their career's. I reckon with less playing time they could still play a big part for us this season because the quality does not go away overnight. Starting with Lampard, his goal record seems to have gone up in the last couple of years despite supposed decline in his over-all play, in 09/10 he got 27 from midfield and last season despite missing half of it and not playing that great he picked up a respectable 13 goals. With careful management by AVB i honestly believe Lamps still has 3/4 good season left in him and possibly 15 goals a season aswell. Anelka seems revatlised the last few weeks and is seemingly reaping the benefits of being more fresh, Malouda's slowly getting there and hopefully Drogba will in the next few weeks aswell. Add more competition for places and with lesser game time they will be more fresh, they can all play a big part this season, less infact is very often more.
  22. It makes me laugh when twats say he only scores pens, take out his pens he is still the higest premier league midfield scorer and something like 13th in the whole list and that's with leaving the other players pen's in.
