  1. For example when Mario Ballotelli scored first place the camera zoomed (apart from his celebration) was the reaction of AVB and RDM, same when Shane Long scored against us for West Brom. When Arsenal were beating us at The Emirates last season they spent most of the match zooming in on Carlo likewise with Wenger in the reverse fixture when we were beating them. Other times they seemed to do Drogba for this, Parks goal against us in the CL and almost immediatly broadcasting live a close up on Drogba looking glum walking to the centre circle, i think they did the same when Flamini scored that smash and grab goal at The Bridge against us too.
  2. Why should he hold the cards anyway? He is at a club threatened with relegation and one of the best teams in the land want him? How the fuck is he holding the cards he should be desparate to join us. We should call his bluff and offer him a 40k deal and if he proves himself in the next year and a half then a payrise, if he says no tell him to fuck off and go for Roger Johnson. If we want to get rid off our reputation of being took for a ride then bending over to Cahil's wage demands is the worst thing we can possibly do.
  3. Dont know why but it annoys me when the camera's zoom in on the manager or a player in the team that has just conceded a goal. They use to do that all the time with Drogba for some stupid reason.
  4. I dont get this sometime. Last season we were complaining that Carlo was not firm enough with the ego's in the squad now we have a manager who dares treat every single player in the squad equal and doesn't pander down to the big ego's we are moaning again, i don't get it. Isn't that what we wanted first and foremost, a manager who is firm on the big ego's in the squad and breaking up the player power (which he is doing)? We have been pining for that for years and now that's happening we are complaining again.
  5. All hypothetical now but after seeing Barca's Guardiola gamble pay off handsomenly should we have taken a gamble when Jose left and give Steve Clarke the job? He is probally the best no2 in the buisness and lets be honest behind the scene's he probally was more of a manager than Avram in 2007/2008, was their any point in appointing a manager who had no previous expierence outside Isreal when we had a hungry young assistant eager to make the step up and someone who has Chelsea in his blood. Wouldn't it have made sense to give him a chance?
  6. Actually while i think of Bosingwa would it make more sense to offer Marsielle £8-10m plus Bosingwa?
  7. Id happily see us pay double that if it shoves Bosingwa down the pecking order.
  8. Agreed. So many times in recent season's injuries have forced Ivan to play in the centre which means Bosingwa at right back, his arrival should it happen will significantly reduce the odds on that happening again.
  9. I signed him for Chelsea on fifa On a more serious note i have liked what all be it little i have seen of him and his arrival will reduce the chances of us having to see that Bosingwa at the right back and Ivan in the centre dreaded combination.
  10. Wouldnt worry about it, when i was 8 i was forced to sit in the home crowd at Highbury (dads a gooner), turns out that match i had to suffer through watch was Thierry Henry's debut and i didn't relise that until he left Worst 90 minutes of my life by far.
  11. The poor service excuse can only work for so long. Even with a bunch of dinosours behind him a player of tha calibre should be scoring more than 5 times in a year.
  12. If Lampard is not prepared to accept a lesser role and toe in line he leaves, simple as that. This is Chelsea FC not Frank Lampard FC, any player who puts their own needs before the club should go. Im not saying Frank will do that but IF he does, then we let him go its as simple as that as please don't reply with he was world class in 2007 as to why he should stay and play every week, its being sentimental with the ageing stars that got us in this shit of the last season and a half in the first place. Look at Zola for example, did he kick up a fuss when Ranieri reduced his role between 01-03, infact that decision helped us get CL football as we ended up getting more out of Zola when he did play. Zola accepted that he was getting on and can't play non stop like the old days and hopefully Frank will do the same.
  13. If we bend over to his fucking wage demands i will flip. Tell him 40k, perform well next season and a half you will get a rise, if not tell him to fuck off and get in Roger Johnson.
  14. well we need to start taking risk's like these sooner rather than later.
  15. We cant afford to give Cahill 120k a week. Not only with the FFP coming up but also if Cahill is getting that much can you see any geniune world class players accepting less or even that?
  16. Any player who has played a big part in the christmas programme should be rested for this one and i mean not even on the bench. ----------------------------------------------Turnbull-------------------------------------- Hutchinson----Cahill(if signed)---------------Ivanovic----------Bertrand ----------------------------------------------Chalaboh----------------------------------- ------------------------------McEachran------------------Malouda----------------- Kalou-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Kakuta ----------------------------------------------Lukaku---------------------------------------- SUBS: Hilario, Kane, B.Clifford, Deen-Conteh, Djalo, Lalkovic, Phillip. It games like this were still having Kalou and Malouda with their expierence around will come in handy. Ivanovic should play as he missed the christmas period so will have a run out. Hopefully a CB will be signed by then so can slot alongside. Hutchinson and Bertand deserve shots at full back while Chalaboh and McEachran shouldplay CM. Kakuta we should re-call and let him play this one before sending him on loan in France. I know it will leave us pretty thin but the first team players need a rest, they looked like running on empty at times in the festive games and really need a week to freshen up.
  17. Im sorry but (same as we did with Sturridge) Fergie had to loan those 2 to a prem club before he even dared give them a shot, its hardly like he played them out of nowhere.
  18. He should be rested for Pompey.
  19. End of the day this is 2012 not 2005, Frank Lampard is no longer good enough to be playing week in week out. This is not me "disrespecting him" or "slagging off" a club legend (which he is, its not even debatable) but shall we just play him until he is 50 just for sentimental value? Lets tell Di Matteo to put his boots on and get out there alongside him while we are at it. No player is bigger than the club, if Frank cannot accept that he is going to be playing a lesser role for here on in and is not prepared to toe in line with the new era he can leave (as a club legend). At his peak one of the if not the best goalscoring midfielder and a criminally under-rated one at that, but are we going to play him for the next 15 years because of that?
  20. He's better than Cahill IMO, its not like he will be first choice and he has proven he can hack it against the big boys with MOTM displays against us and Arsenal last term.
  21. With Cahill apparently demanding ridicolous wages why don't we move on and go for this guy? (who i think is a better defender anyway). I know he is 29 this year but he won't be first choice starter every week but i doubt he will care, he is a lifelong Chelsea fan and even when he was playing for the Bluenoses still came to watch us a few times apparently. We offer Wolves £8 or so million (which will mean they make a 100% profit) their find it hard to hold on to him especially if Johnson (which i doubt he would turn us down if we came in for him) forces through the move. A better defender, for only a bit more money, less wages and loves the club. No brainer for me.
  22. smh, this is the deal that should have been done on January 1st so we could have prioritised moving higher up the field. Infact if Cahill is being greedy fuck him, sign Roger Johnson, childhood Chelsea fan and IMHO a better player.
  23. How come he didn't do a Guadiola and ship a couple of them out early?
