  1. There are practically 4 town's, take the town's away and it would just be woodland's all the way to Exeter bar a few villages.
  2. I live in North Devon, and it's a 45 minute bus trip followed by a 1 hour 15 minute train ride to Exeter and getting there that's only on the edge of what we could call the rest of the country.
  3. he is obviously trolling.
  4. I have worked out that we could potentially have a maximum of 73 games next season, with the clear out we are having of first team players it is vital we keep players who are happy in their role's as squad players, which makes the decision to release Kalou bewildering. So regardless of what we think about how good they are, Meireles and Malouda have to stay on to play the squad role's, squad depth will be more important next season than it ever was before.
  5. Don't know that much about them, but i always preferred Rangers, even back when i was little before i was even made aware of the Chelsea-Rangers connection.
  6. We should never do business with Spuds while that idiot is their chairman, in going's or out.
  7. ^^ that article from the mirror is quite possibly the worst but of journalism i have ever come across, if he is still in a job after that shite then im lost for words.
  8. There is so much wrong with that statement i don't even know why im bothering to reply. I support Torres, every Chelsea fan support's Torres, but their is a big difference between supporting a player and making excuses for him, yes he puts effort in despite poor performance's, so does Kalou yet he never seems to get that gratitude. I supported Ben Haim when he wore the Chelsea shirt, doesn't change the fact he was probably the worse defender i have seen play for us im my life, but while he played for us i supported him and hoped he would come good. Torres has been awful for us, i genuinely hope he does come good and will be delighted if he does but every time i come down to Stamford Bridge for a match it cost's me £150, train, ticket and food, more if i have to stay down West London for the night, while their picking up thousand's of pounds a week, so if i spend my money to see shite performance's im not going to be too sympathetic.
  9. Fair play to Eden if he wants to take that route. Im 21 like him and personally i don't plan to get married or have kids until i am at the very youngest 30 because i would miss the social life too much but everyone is different. Right now im happy meeting mates and getting smashed three times a week, but as i said everyone is different.
  10. It's true tho, that year showed that it would have been naive to rule Apoel out, let alone us and i was right
  11. Big big difference between supporting him and making every excuse under the sun as to why he has failed to have a £50m game for us yet, i wish some could actually tell the fucking difference between the 2. I support him, doesn't change the fact i don't think he will ever be good enough to lead the line. I supported Bolourouz and Ben Haim despite the fact i knew full well both were utter donkeys. We really need to work out the line between supporting players and making excuses for them, the clear fact is Torres for 99% of his Chelsea career has made Kalou look like Pele, harsh but true.
  12. We should wait until he scores winning goals and against big teams before we go pronouncing that he is back. He has a long way to go.
  13. Gutted about this news tbh, they were going nowhere under Redknapp, they hit their ceiling and he has no grasp of tactics whatsoever.
  14. If Liverpool want him, they pay atleast £40m, after spending £35m on Carroll they can fuck off if they think they can have Danny for just over half that.
  15. We should have a clause saying if he doesn't play x amount of minutes in x amount of games we should loan him out. Personally we forced premier loans on Kakuta and McEachran to quick, we should have done similar to what Tottenham did with this Caulker fella, start at a League one loan then Championship, then Premier.
  16. Don't think he was THAT bad for us, only was considered a flop due to the price tag IMO. Having said that before his long lay off in Avram's season he was starting to look the part then his return at the end of the season he looked impressive too, why on earth was he not brought on in extra time in Moscow and Anelka was? Sheva's CL final experience could have been invaluable. Given he was starting to show signs off his old self, i believe Scolari should have given him a chance, i still to this day think he would have been a hit if we gave him 08/09.
  17. Is it just me or does every "winger" these days prefer to drift in the centre before officially being a centre midfielder? How many pure wingers are their left?
  18. Shit does that make Carroll better than Hazard?
  19. The stick Sturridge get's is so bewildering i don't even know where to start. Remember seeing him on loan at Bolton and him seizing his chance, forcing his way into the team (something Kakuta, McEachran and Van Aanholt could not do on similar loan spells) scoring goals and lookin impressive. The slightest sniff off him leaving or going on loan again last summer had this and any other based Chelsea forum into near meltdown. Now remember who was coming up with the goods and keeping us in the race for 4th single handedly upto Christmas while Drogba and Torres just looked disinterested? yes Danny Sturridge and at that point he wasn't that far behind Mata in our run in for best player award, if he was atall. Just remember how on form he was back last Christmas and for Bolton rewind 6 months then rewind 1 year and tell me you want him to leave? The second half of the season he had a bit of a goal and performance drought, but this is his first season playing regularly for a team with big expectation's, it was going to happen sooner or later and the fact a young lad is getting stick for 1 minor goal drought but an experienced world cup winner is getting excuses made for him through 2 major drought's is wrong on so many levels (it's like sending down a 16 year old lad for sleeping with a under age girl once but making excuses for and letting off a 30 year old man who does the same thing as the young lad but does it twice). Yes he may be a bit greedy, well a lot, but he gets goals, give him a run of games and he will score. He was a bit upset about not playing "number 9" last season, but do you think he would be complaining if Falcao was playing for us and scoring week in week out? He was upset (and rightly so) because he was getting shafted to the wing to occupy and (at the time) out of form 33 year old and a Spaniard who went on 2 embarrassing goal drought's, while he was hungry and itching to prove himself in that position, can you blame him being frustrated watching others play their and be disinterested? He has bit's that need improving to his game but let him go and he will come back to haunt us big time, he deserves a shot at the "number 9" position a lot more than El Nino at this current time and personally if i was RDM he would be starting in that position in August.
  20. any team with Jones and Young in won't dominate.
  21. Boring? don't mistake boring for getting results, we scored 42 goals in 21 games under RDM.
  22. If that is true it would be quite funny that despite that Liverpool still haven't managed to get above us in the league
  23. im pretty sure a few United players in the past have referred to Ferguson as 'Fergie'. Maybe i should write a story, how Fergie's 25 year struggle with player power is about to reach the end.
