Same with Schurrle, he got fuck knows how much stick because people were paranoid he was some sort of devil forcing out KDB.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24299819 There could be two Manchester United's in the CL next season now Gibraltar have a CL place next season. How funny would it be if United don't qualify but the Gibraltar one do?

We are actually really lucky he has come back when he did. With Spurs, Arsenal and City all improving, we could have been in serious doo, doo as far as the top 4 is concerned if he didn't return.

I keep hearing how Moyes worked miracles at Everton. He did a good job but he wasn't a miracle worker, he usually had the 7th highest spend in the division, guess what his average finish was? Pellegrini had similar funds to what Moyes did when the Chillean was at Villareal, yet he broke the big two duopoly, got far in the Champions League a few times and also reguarly qualified for the competition. Moyes got top 4 once and ironically got his backside tanned by Manuel in the qualifiers.

I have said it before, i really believe Barca are going to win at-least the next 5 titles and possibly not lose to Madrid in that period too. Then Madrid fans will truly know just how special Mourinho was for them.
-
Also even in 2004, it took a while, it wasn't until October Jose realized the diamond was getting us nowhere and Duff, J.Cole and Robben on the wings was the way forward.
-
David Moyes has now written off United's CL chances I have said this for years and got mullered for it, he is Roy Hogdson mark 2.
-
Owen Hargreavs before the game called Willian and Lamela number 10's It wouldn't wind me up so much if they weren't on good money.
-
On his interview with BBC, Jose said he was about to bring off Oscar for Eto'o before Torres got sent off.
-
Just to put perspective on things, if Arsenal lose, we will be two points off the top having not really hit form yet and already having three top 6 away games. Could be worse.
-
Wasn't there a fair number on here who thought Moyes should have been our manager at one point?
-
If Arsenal don't win today we will be two points off the top having played 3 of the top 6 away (yes, i still believe Everton are better than Liverpool), not to shabby. Hopefully we can hear the end of the Jose doubters, Mata had his best game in months probably since January, his pressing and overall game is looking alot better and even Torres is looking like a footballer again (as great as he was today, i need to see him perform consistently for months before i comp-template humble pie, we have been here before). He is the best in the business, when will the penny drop? Jose took a risk at half time with the sub to go for the draw, isn't that refreshing after the rigidity of Rafa?
-
I think he has just played his way back into the team. Already his pressing looks better and has had his best game for months. Maybe we should trust Mourinho in future?
-
Not to mention people (especially the romantics) went mental when Mourinho instantly dropped Cudicini for Cech, the result? league title with record points and least goal conceded ever in a league season, and it still doesn't sink in. With Ramos i don't get why people got pissed about that, he was awful as a right back, up until Mou's appointment they had by far the worse defense out of the top teams in Europe, i remember they lost 4-0 at Anfield and 6-2 to Barca and in both Casilas was one of their best player's.
-
If it helps the overall team results, i can live with it. The team > any one player Also if he improves his pressing and all round play he might play a lot more games for Spain, i can't think of any other reason Pedro starts ahead of him.
-
Im not (my reference to the Everton game), if that happens over the course of the season (the team playing better with Torres) then you have a point. This is basically a one month spell and we played well at Everton when he didn't start. Far, far to early to draw conclusion's. If Barca won 4 in a row while Messi gets injured and draw 2 on his return, does that mean their better off without him?
-
I was referring to two games, the Wembley game, and the game at WHL when we drew 1-1 and had the much better of the match.
-
Jose should confirm Rambo is out then start him, that would put a spanner in AVB's plans.
-
Hopefully he can follow Ramsey's example and hopefully we will learn from Arsenal fans and give him time to settle after an injury because their will be a mental side, worrying about his knee going again.
-
He just needs more service. If we sign Alonso, Mascerano and Gerrard next summer Torres will be scoring everygame, they played with him at his peak, they will know what to do.
-
or cost 50 big one's
-
The one thing that will always make me feel confident against Spurs is the mental aspect, people expect them to win and i wonder how they will react to that. 11/12 they were better than us, but we still outplayed them at White Hart Lane and thumped them 5-1 with the world watching.
-
Amazing isn't it, Drogba in his first two season's was getting hounded and sometimes booed despite playing well and giving a lot to the team, yet that wasn't good enough, Torres on the other hand is having another one off these mini spells were he is looking something off a footballer, and here we go again.
-
Actually i think Eto'o has done fine, Everton we played well, and the thing is while he hasn't been amazing, he gets involved in play a lot more than Torres does, Nish posted something is Eto'o's thread backing that up. Torres may have done ok against Bayern and Swindon, but Hull he was awful, one touch in the penalty area for a forward, one. Im amazed at the writing off on Eto'o after 3 games, when it took over a year for Torres to get the critics he deserved.

What about most of the games in two and a half years when his presence has been a clear hindrance? The 17 and 24 game goal droughts? 5 months without a PL goal? Sulking to the press, saying he didn't care if we win or lose?. Ironically the goal on your avatar came from him losing the ball in the dangerous area and nearly undoing 180 minutes of hardwork. Like i said it will take more than a few semi decent games to win me over after the shit he has served all his Chelsea career.
