  1. Maybe was a bit harsh, but the point is I can't see how much better we would be doing with Lukaku, maybe a couple more goals, but this team is struggling even Aguero wouldn't score much. The main point is however, Its not selling these players that created a problem, swap Hazard, Oscar, Cesar and Costa for Mata, Schurrle,(or even KDB for that matter) Bertrand and Lukaku and things won't suddenly be different or better.
  2. Exactly, KDB was a mistake but its laughable when the rest of them are brought up.Lukaku, despite being in the form of his life can only get Everton to 10th. Mata has been bang average for years and Schurrle has been awful ever since the world cup, yet apparently if those two were still here we would be so much further up the table
  3. Law of averages will give us a decent run at some point, just like it did with Dortmund, their will be a time in the season where Hazard is on form, Costa is scoring, Terry and Cesar are on point and Courtois is unbeatable, and that spell wherever it comes will be enough to at the very, very least keep us clear of relegation. It's going to be a massive flop of a season unless we do a Munich mark 2, I'm not trying to hide from that, but like I alluded to theirs about as much chance of relegation as their is the Champions League athem down Watford next season.
  4. If we get relegated I'll give up booze for a year.We may be technically in a relegation fight but Watford are technically in the race for 4th but we know it won't happen. Like Dortmund last season, there's too much individual quality in the squad for it to happen over 38 games.
  5. There is only four players in this squad with a true winners mentality. One has just got back from injury, one is in his twilight years, one is having trouble adapting to the league but is getting better lately and one is in the worst form of his career.
  6. His long term ability has well and truly been exposed, but come on, he isn't a fraud.
  7. Technically yes but realistically no, there is far too much quality in this side to end the season fighting relegation. When was the last team too good to go down actually gone down? Probably West Ham in 2003 and we are much better than them.
  8. The third season when we finished 4th was his best work, no new players (De Lucas doesn't really count) and with The pressure of our future on top 4 was brilliant work. The second season (first full season) was so frustrating, felt like as a team we were going backwards and Jimmy, Eidur and Cudicini basically carried us to 6th place.
  9. The only similarities I can think between Costa tonight and any game Torres had was his match at WHL, were the Madristian got 117 votes for MOTM, despite costing us the game.
  10. Vincenzo Fiorillo I turned into a beast on fifa 09 career mode (maybe 10) that era, right now he is on loan at Pescara in Serie B.
  11. Stones and Zouma can play RB, those four (assuming the three young uns reach their potential) will be almost like having JT, Carvalho, Gallas and Huth again.
  12. Van Gaal played Jese Lingaard and Nick Powell in United's crucial CL tie Mourinho may be a bit frustrating with the youth, but my God I'm glad he doesn't feel youth (like those two Van Gaal fields) that are clearly not or never will be good enough.
  13. Too little sample size, Schwarzer looked great in that game too.
  14. What luck would that be? Sent to Koln, didn't get a game, sent to Boro, pushed out to fullback because Karanka preffered the other CBS. He's no where near Chelsea standard.
  15. My terms are wages matching what Courtois Is on as Well as Turnbull returning alongside me
  16. Stones, Zouma, Cahill and Christensen. Kalas isn't good enough.
  17. Agree with that, the only problem is, unless he's allowed to stay on at Italy at the same time, would he even accept an interim role? I can't recall high profile managers accepting such roles unless their are mitigating circumstances, like with Hiddink and especially Rafa, who's stock was ridiculously low after Inter and needed the short stint here to recover his reputation.
  18. Ofcoutse it shows how bad its got, but that's reality and Tibo kept us in the game first 30.
  19. Was referring to the grass is greener aspect, if Courtois was sold and performed like he did vs Bournemouth for another club, thread in overdrive in fact his thread was a lot more busy when he was a Leti player.
  20. Looking for a way to put people down?I'm not even going to bother to respond to you if thats what you think.
  21. Courtois has a great game Saturday for Chelsea, barely mentioned all night. Lukaku has a great game for another team, thread explosion.
  22. It has been a bit of a bad decision and he should be getting more game time, hopefully Falcao gets placed in the stands and makes way for him. Kalas on the other hand, I had high hopes for him, but since he couldn't buy a game in Germany and is shafted to RB in Boro, I think its time to accept he isn't thy great, Christensen's success in Galdbach puts Kalas stuggles at Koln into perspective.
  23. 90% of the things I've said 're Jose still stands, but right now its not working for either party. It's sad it's came to this but on the plus side, future managers won't get judged compared to Mourinho and have the fans chant for Jose when we have a bad spell, like what happened between both his spells every time we hit a rut, every cloud and that.
  24. Amicably part company, get an interim in until the end of the season then throw cash at Simeone. Jose, like Klopp, will recover elsewhere, but here things are broken and he needs to go. Maybe have him back for a short third spell before he retires, because it would be a shame if this was his last action for Chelsea.
