They only play before us next week, we play our 36th and 37th games before they do. If we slip up in two of these games we don't deserve the title but even then, while i will assume Spurs will win all there games until they drop points while factoring in the tally we need, i will be amazed if they win at the Kingpower if the title race is still on. With the exception of Gary Linekar, every Leicester fan would love to halt Spurs after last season.

He carries out the ball brilliantly and is fantastic in possession for a CB. He may lack height but that is literally the only chink in his armour defensively and that doesn't even get exposed as much as is made out. Would you have dropped prime Carvalho for lack of height or prime Terry for lack of pace? Also (and most importantly) Azpi is a fundementally better defender than anyone else in the squad and the best since JT was in his prime, his only weakness should be worked around given all the upsides he brings.
-
Jamie Vardy with a goal almost identical to Hazard's to clinch it, just imagine.
-
Looks like he is well and truly ahead of Zouma in the pecking order now, thankgod.
-
In what way is Azpi limited (for whats required as a RCB)? Just out of interest?
-
I hope I'm never flying for a game again, plane landed about the time the game ended and the BBC page took 10 minutes to load.
-
Not sure about best, I think Azpilicueta (I consider him a CB now) and Alderwierld are fighting for that honour. Agree with the rest mind.

Although Luiz had a shocker all game he recovered well after Rashford went past him. If Begovic stayed on his line Rashford would have been forced further from goal and barring a wonderfully placed shot or Rashford unleashing his inner Messi and leaving David for dead with a peice of skill that would have meant danger gone. He had a shocking game but did the right thing in that moment but Asmir came out too quickly.

I'd change the formation for this one, Poch will be expecting 3-4-3 so changing would throw a curveball plus out wingbacks need a rest and truth be told I'd take a 5-0 loss in this if it meant a 1-0 win vs Saints. ---------------Courtois------------- Zoums----Luiz-----Cahill----Azpi ----------Kante----Cesc/Matic----- Willian---------Ruben----------Hazard --------------------Costa--------------------- Only picking Costa to rest Pedro to go all false 9 vs Southampton. Likewise Ruben to keep Cesc or Matic fresh. Far, far, far from an ideal scenario but we can still win with a good tactical performance but like I said league must take priority now as great as the double would be.

While I am not doubting the character of those players there is a lot of convienent abnesia going on with nostalgia hindsight. Back in the 2010 title run in the performance at White Hart Lane was every bit as bad as what we saw yesterday, if not worse.
-
With us (second time Round) it was understandable because of the impact he's had on the club but I don't get why United fans are so up his backside. When I see some comments I cringe and think that was me as early as 18 months ago
-
It's because they are doing shit in the league and hugely underachieving he is spinning the narrative that its all down to fatigue.
-
No, I there's a reason Antonio has been rotating Cesc and because he can't play in a midfield two regularly. I can see why people are calling for him again, because Conte is playing him in games were he can be useful and leaving him out of games he would be a liability.

Never thought i'd ever say this about facing a Jose side on his own patch, but we should be winning this!!!
-
Im not banking on anything i will assume Spurs will win every game and we need 15 points until the goalpost's change, but people are really underestimating Tottenham's fixtures.
-
Technically Newcastle and Saints had no motivation vs Spurs last season and we know what happened there. Also Boro and Sunderland will likely be gone by the time we face them. And given the comtempt Spurs fans treated Leicester with last season, i can imagine they would love to kill there dreams at the King Power.
-
Can see them dropping points at KP, after last season they hate them almost as much as we do. Marco Silva hasn't lost a home game in 4 years also.
-
Boro and Sunderland will be gone by the time we play them. Also Palace, Leicester and Hull will be anything but easy away for Spurs.
-
Trust me i understand that, but we knew he had this side when we got him. Couldn't believe that either, Torres being compared to Eto'o was bad enough.
-
That's why i said close to being. Last season he improved vastly when Hiddink returned, first season scored at almost a rate of a goal a game for half a season. If we can replace him with good quality, ok fine, but i remember all too well having to send out an SOS to a semi retired Eto'o because we couldn't get anyone better and our current forward's were flaking harder than 99s. We are complaining now about a striker having a average half a season after a great first half, not long ago we were complaining about strikers having shit full seasons. Jose's second coming at Chelsea was dead from the Southampton match onwards and it quickly became apparent to anyone who wasn't thinking 100% with there heart, the Costa situation isn't even 5% as perriless, come on. Can he take us to the next level? I have my doubts but i'd certainly rather gamble on him than some of the strikers linked as replacement's.
-
For all his fault's, Costa leading the line has produced 2 title's in 3 years for his team's and close to being 3 in 4. He may only show top form for half a season but often that's enough. Without meaning to sound like an AKB from North London we should be careful what we wish for.
-
Why the hell is Crespo on that list? He WASN'T a flop. Puts into perspective just how good Eden is to shine so highly under Jose given Martial, Mata and Miki's struggles under him.
-
Cant imagine Butland accepting #2, i think we will go for Muslera. One day i hope a decent PL standard keeper comes out of the academy and his happy to spend his career on the bench for his boyhood club, like Steve Harper at Newcastle.
-
Without meaning to sound like a Torres apologist Pedro is the type of player that needs a good set up to show his class, he was doomed playing Jose ball were the attackers have to look after themselves almost. Play a system with a lot of movement and combination play and you have a top player, there's a reason it took someone as good as Suarez to shaft him at Barca.
