Just some sort of weird bogey thing. Jose had it against O Neil, Conte against Wenger, Fergie against our pre Roman sides.

I think CHO is better on the right because of his chemistry with Reece.
-
If he and CHO can fill out and avoid injuries, oh my life!

I don't expect all out attack but my worry is the players will subconsciously get back into a subconscious pragmatic zone as it's an easy way out to the long haul of learning such a complex style, especially after the manager gives you rope too. It happened with AVB (although I guess on that occasion it was a good thing given Munich ), people assume it was his high line that was the downfall but it was actually relenting and let the players get back in a comfort zone. But like I said that's a worry for tomorrow.

I don't want this approach long term but for now who cares, I'll worry about that tomorow. Almost a reverse from the away fixture Vs City where I was delighted with the display but ultimately gutted we lost.

Lampard has won Liverpool more PL titles than Gerrard.
-
I didn't blame Frank for what happened against Arsenal but i will here if this happens again.
-
How I ever survived the latter stages of the CL I'll never know.

Get Gilmour/Jorgi and Kova on fuck sake.
-
It was coming.

He gets nervous Vs big sides Infront of goal in my opinion. United, Bayern, Liverpool, Arsenal and now tonight he's fluffed his lines when he should be doing a lot better. Hopefully it's something he settles as he goes on.
-
If him and Hudson Odoi fill out and avoid systematic injury it's going to be quite something.
-
I stick by that I don't want him in this position long term but credit where credits due he's done very well. I think as a team we've struggled to play out at times due to no regista but I can't blame Kante for that, it's not where his strengths lie. He's holding his position and not being bated to press which was a concern at the start so hopefully he sticks to that.

What a response to Werner's signing by Pulisic.
-
Mount gets nervous Infront of goal against big teams, he needs one Vs one of them.
-
Genuinely thought it was about 40 minutes gone only to check the clock and see 29 minutes.
-
I'm trying to convince myself this is some elaborate plan to reserve energy then we get Jorginho/Gilmour and Kova on while they tire.
-
No way really?

You don't beat a Pep team playing like this without an extreme amount of luck. They will just grind us down until we're seeing stars. All the more frustrating that we went toe to toe with them at The Ethiad and played well, we don't need to set up like this.
-
We're already being forced into (or accepting) submission.
-
It's more Kante being put in a position he's not suited too. As i asked you before, even if we accept your view on Jorginho, what's the excuse for not putting Gilmour there and don't say the games too big for him, he's been MOTM in that position Vs the Champions elect.
-
And two others where we kept clean sheets. And even if we take what you say about Jorginho, there's a certain young Scottish guy that has been MOTM in that position last two times he's played, one being Vs the Champions elect.
-
Kante has got MOTM playing RCM against City at The Ethiad, a game we played really well and we went toe to toe with them, why fix what isn't broke? There's no excuse for going into this without our three most technically competent midfielders no matter what way it's spun
-
Kante's been a sitting DM in two different circumstances since coming to England. Once was for France in Euro16, he was dropped. The other was his first few games for us, it went so well Conte overhauled the entire system.
-
I agree for this one just not in DM. This is what happened the last time he played there in a big game, look at how Ozil wiped in out around 1:23 which started the move to a third goal and left our defense exposed, and this was playing a system that suits him. City will bait him into vacating his position to press and it will be carnage.
