There are your sad displays ... I feel it is not just those 2 ... the team collectively is not giving confidence nor seems determined (yes we have few good ones here and there). Looks like everyone is busy trying to sort their future at the club. Our general play is also so average, transition are not clean and swift, final third there are no runs which allows to create for chances, finishing I think is no longer a breaking thing, pressing is all over, etc etc etc.

Just a sad display ... Cant even express the way we're playing off late.

What the hell was that yesterday! It seems that something happened during the international break, the team from another parallel verse where are shits got exchanged with the ours. This was clearly not us and I cant think of a better reason! Time to call to call Dr Strange to fix this fucking issue!

In the current situation with some much happening outside and playing an in form team, we played with intensity and were good on field. Superb goal, some respite on the penalty. Loved Tuchel's emotions after the whistle says how much efforts are they putting in during the crisis. Hope our outside situation is solved and is done soon. Well played, Chelsea!

I echo the same possibility. I also believe maybe our days of being as an elite club might be over. With these sanctions Roman would be forced to sell within the time frame allocated and as what is said that Roman wants someone who can take the club forward. We might have owners who might get the club at a cut price which would have impacted on us being on top. With every passing day future not looking good ...

What a game!!! Not what I expected, I though Liverpool being in the form they are in would easily score against us but our defensive discipline was awesome combined with our offense it was a brilliant 0-0 game. Disappointed to lose but you dont mind this kind of loss because we couldnt have asked for more and if what we could are so minimal which is understandable. This is how a final should be ... all in, high octane drama, end to end stuff, end of it the sport comes out as a winner. Respect!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

If a nudge is needed for a 100M player " a top striker " based on someone else performance then there is something wrong with the player himself.

Lucky win at best! Not sure what's wrong with our service, we hardly put the ball in dangerous space or create one. Ziyech was the MOM and was the only player who was trying to put the ball in. I believe we need to change the way we play the game, when U see other teams they constantly try to create gaps even when the bus is being parked. But us I m not sure we dont invite players to leave their positions, our forwards/midfielders hardly take long shots, we dont physically beat them, at times long balls whose success ratio is nothing to write off. We go from side to side and wait for a miracle to happen. Hope we improve that all I can hope & pray.

One of the better performance we had in some time, though there is still work to be done to get back to the level we were while we were leading. Was a good team performance, everyone played their part well and we have the 3 points. Lukaku - enough is already said. Always felt that Kovačić is the most underrated player in the team ... he has to compete against the likes of Kante and Jorginio but his presence in the team is very vital and yest was again one of those performance which the stats might say otherwise but his presence in the middle gives the stability that is needed. Same as Mount. If only Ziyech can have such performance consistently, then we truly have a WC player on our hand. His off the ball play was excellent, you could find him tracking back & defending, switching flanks when needed, the drive and finally the trademark attitude post the goal. Not sure if it is me but off late Kante has been performing bad as per his standard. He gives away ball easily and his passing seems hopeful ones. Maybe reading too much into thing but I hope he gets back to the elite level. Good Win, on to the next one ...

Havertz needs to be started there is argument on that, all for getting back to what worked for us ... despite that Werner needs to be started as he helps the forward players by creating that gap.

Bang on! Out of the 2 strikers we have with similar form Werner still bring a lot to the table while Lukaku is just a dead wood when he is not scoring. Werner uses his pace while Lukaku uses his strength to bring defenders away from their positions and seems pace is more effective. Also what it seems like that Werner despite all the criticism of he not hitting goals or expensive players gives his 100% on the field, Lukaku at times seems he doesnt give a f**k. Maybe it's just the optics ...

Thats the thing ... lot of ppl already knew that he is not suited to the Tuchel system but still we spend crazy money. And now we are f**king struck!

In that case Kepa should have started over Mendy every game. I m sure there is loads of pressure but thats where top managers also make the difference ... how they mix and match to achieve the desired results. Tuchel has been rotating the squad well which should be extended to Lukaku, make him play against selective teams. Sends out a message to everyone and if you're winning there are less people pointing fingers at you.

Was a pathetic display of football from our side. You can make out that we were bad when Kante has a bad game. We lost to City who were bad on the day, you cant beat that! This time it starts with Tuchel ... wrong selection even if we planned to sit back and defend. Mount and Havertz should have started over Ziyech and Pulisic or Lukaku (unless they were injured) ... We're expecting that Lukaku to adapt to the way Tuchel wants to play but he is not ... so in crucial game why to start him. Instead get him as a sub. Everyone seems to be so disinterested that we're making dumb mistakes including from those we dont (guess Silva and Rudiger were the ones with least mistakes). Wasnt any thing good to say about our game and we didnt deserve anything from the game infact the score line is so deceiving too!

About last night game, the less said the better. Next game with Wolves ... not sure will happen or not with Covid wanting to assert its domination.

What a crazy game ... right from the start wasnt comfortable that it would a smooth sailing despite being one up in the 2nd minute. Hope to not see something like this again. With injuries and a packed schedule, wasnt expecting an A side against them ... it was more of lets try to make this work kind of squad. And we were lucky to get away with a point. Werner and Kepa were godly yesterday, both justifying valuation for which they were brought ... for once! Finishing second is not going to help us in the draw but I would want us to be drawn to Bayern. We r the champions and shouldnt worry about facing any team. If we lose then we concentrate on the PL and if we win then our chances of winning the CL goes up because beating the best in the competition would surely boast our confidence.

This would be the worst game of the season and would figure in overall Tuchel's career at Chelsea, the 3 points is a result of whatever good we played. Saul doesnt have a career at Chelsea, was established last night (Pulisic did more in the wingback/winger position last night than what Saul has done in all his games here) There was time from the 75th to around 81st mins, the 2 teams were literally competing to prove who is the worst team on the pitch. I hope Tuchel is kicking himself over the way we played last night and learns from it because the grid is just beginning ...

Not the result that I wanted but it was no surprise as well ... mentioned this that they will be on ultra defensive mode, the goal that scored was a mistake from our side else I feel it would had been difficult for them. Our issue still prevails our final third play is not effective as our general play despite having 2 big names in the striking dept. If the opposition goes into defensive mode we struggle to score, guess has been an age old issue for us. Faulting the manager for not having the right team selected would be a little overboard because he has been constantly changing (baring few) which has also helped us. My only criticism would be that we took time to bring in the subs, maybe could have got more than the 3. After Juventus thrashing lot was expected from this game but United came in with a different set of agendas while our expectation remained the same With now the title race getting really started, not finishing in these close games would hurt us and would be the difference between winning the title come May.

Our USP under Tuchel has been team chemistry and the ability of filling in position if any individual is out. Unless we dont get complacent or a brilliant counter strategy to break us, we should be taking something out of this game. Chilwell will be miss but a fresh Alonso can be a menace in their half. United today strictly sat back in the first half absorbing pressure and started pressurizing only towards the end. Feel they would take the same stance on Sunday, that is where we would need to have the discipline to not get carried away for that aggressive press because they have quick runners who can hurt us on the counter. Hoping we continue with the momentum and have a good game yet again.

One of those games which should have won easy specially with the firepower we have but we didnt. Our interplay was superb right till our final third where we couldnt really put the final ball in the net. Also it could be one of those days the goalie becomes unbeatable. One criticism is that we tend to relax after we hit the first goal and somehow rely on our defense to stay solid ... this allows the opponent to get into the game and shifts the momentum from us to them. This has being quite regular in every game, we managed to get through ... on this one we couldnt. This result is even frustrating after Liverpool lost, we should have the buffer but ... Hope we dont have more of these slip ups.
