This was a bad loss ... damn 2 years in the running now. We should have closed the game in the first half when we were dominating possession and were getting regularly into their final third. This is a flaw which we need to overcome else we would be losing/drawing such games. Really disappointing!!!

I believe Arsenal were the other team too in the race. I think we moved in and closed the deal earlier which was a masterstroke from our side. Also I believe most of the top team had a settle DM at that point of time hence no one must have moved in early (just an assumption)

One match I dislike losing and we lost that when we are having such a good run. Bad day in office, I hope we r now done with losing games for this season and lets achieve the impossible.

I honestly dont care about the media ... they will blow where there biasness takes them to (they would blow in our direction if given preferential treatment ) But the concern are the stupid rules ... Refs were confused still are, VAR was suppose to make it right and it has added another level of confusion. I can see City going down in the final ... they would go all out in every possible way during the final. They are in the same position that we were in 2012 so i see them using all the trick in the book & outside

B side, penalty given / not given, media crying, players crying, blab, blab ... what matter is that both team fought well, Chelsea were the more resolute one and emerged worthy winner. Kudos to the ones who havent got much chances but played superb when provided an opportunity. 👏👏👏👏👏

Why not, add the kit men, ground staff & others too ... It is a team effort not an individual effort ... Even UEFA gives out medals to those who have met the minimum criteria as contribution.

What a performance!!! Clinical, professional, the camaraderie and determination. Madrid might not be on the best form but we didnt step back just because we have a slim advantage ... we went at them hard and didnt give them any space to play. Just a surprise that we didnt have more goals. Loved the emotions from Silva once the match ended ... he missed out last season at the last hurdle along with Tuchel and now it's like Life is giving another opportunity. ISTANBUL !!! Seriously that is so dumb ... Imagine if we had finished outside of top 4 last season, no CL in the first place forget having a shot at it ... With depleted squad and academy Lampard managed to make it top 4. Our memories are so short term and fickle. If we attribute failure to a manager why can't we give him credit on something which attribute to success.

Damn, we should have won this one ... came out all guns blazing in the first half and cooled down in the second. Still a commendable performance. Should be a good home game. Good performances all around and some regular average ones but the stand out for me was Kante. He was everywhere proving to be a menace for the opposition. I recollect lot of fans wanted to sell him in the summer to cash on as he is getting old & injury prone. But looking at his revival this season he has proved that experience is valuable & cannot be replaced. One of teams who could have actually gone for him would had been Madrid and last night we would had been facing a bloody wall Hope we continue with the good form in the last leg as well. KTBFFH!!!

Cant even describe the feeling after watching yesterday's game. The way they kept hitting goals was a joke whereas we kept toiling on their side. Whatever we achieved in the last 10 odd games just went out of the window and suddenly u dont know who were u watching yesterday .... was the games before yest were a myth or was yest game the reality ... I want to believe that we r so much better than what we put up on display and it is just the worst day in office ( trying to console myself)

Feel that it is matter of time that Werner comes out good and people criticizing him would start praising him. Currently yes he looks poor as a player but if you think about it he does get into the right positions, outpaces the defenders, has tremendous work rate ... the only piece and the important piece is that he is not putting the balls in the net. I dont think it is about playing pre season matches ... it is just feeling good about the where u r and the adapting to environment that your part of, probably he is that kind of a player. We can only hope that that transition happens soon.

Superb display by Blues!!! Madrid played right into Tuchel's strategy and it was a sublime performance by the team. We r really played well in all sectors of the field, Interplay for the first goal is just wow!!! Kante has been fantastic under Tuchel and is one of the factor that we are being solid at the back. He has always been handful for the opposition, plays for the jersey, has a positive attitude and more. It was baffling that lot of our fans wanted to cash on him before the start of this season ... so glad that didnt happen.

I request where your coming from ... but CB or any other position, feel sometime u need to throw a person the into the deep end & check the result. You need to believe if a player is good and give that faith to him else we are seeing what is happening Tomori ... I feel Tomori is talented and it is a mystery why he is at AC MIlan today instead of being at Chelsea.

Well that cannot be the bar to judge a player. If he is good, he will come through ... Mount, James, Odio all were untested but are part of the squad today. So if a player is good and has the determination & attributes, he would succeed ... would need to take a risk.

Great 3 points, loved it that we played as a solid unit. Saw only the first half but we dominated the game and more importantly growing in confidence. Havertz was a different player all together today, he was doing a Kante in the opposition half. Loved the tackle by Christensen, Sublime!!! Hope we dont get complacent and keep doing the good work.

This was clearly a different Havertz ... in terms of confidence, approach & attitude. Hope he keeps this momentum.

Honestly I'm still not sold on Tuchel, just glad or rather surprised that we got all 3 points. While we surely have strengthened our defense yy concern is still our final third play. Like I said from the highlights it looked we're improving so yes it surely can bring back some confidence. One win can do loads of things & that is a fact, if u have doubts please watch Arsenal Fan TV

To be honest, wasnt expecting a win I was sure it would be a draw but wow! good to be proved wrong. Saw the highlights and it seems that we're improving in the final 3rd. It seems everyone was superb yesterday, I hope we continue with this momentum. Go Blues!!!

Had lot of expectation from this game to see how we play against a pacey opponents who are good on the counter and Boy! it turn out to be a damn boring game. 2 teams who just didnt want to take on the others, no wonder why United has not scored much and Chelsea are equally defensive against the top 4-6 sides. Not sure if it's just me, we dont look convincing in the final 3. Baring that save from De Gea which should have gone in, dont think there was any real threat on the goal (yes 2 good cross apart for the shot). The only positive is we looked solid defensively, Kante was the driver partnering well with Kovavic covering every inch in our half and breaking play specially keeping Bruno quiet.

Mason Mount for me the prefect (nearly) squad player someone who is needed in a team. He is someone who would be a manager's delight because he offers something in all positions but for fans he would always he doesnt specializes in anything. At 22, he definitely has the right attitude, drive & determination to succeed. He remind of a young Lampard and maybe would have the same path to success.
