I feel we need to keep Tammy, loan wouldnt help at this time with we already revamping big time and a decent striker would cost big... Giroud and Batshui would be gone. With Wener in there will be competition for places and that will tell if Tammy has the ambitious to fight for his place. If yes, then with the new 5 subs rules we have a great headache on our hands .... If not then we can sell him next season.

Come on, seriously!!! Anyways, with the new rule in place of 5 subs having depth in the squad will be very important from next season. If Kai Havertz comes in then for me the place left is the squad will be No 8 ... I will want to see Mount start at 8 exchanging positions with Havertz however RLC can play that role as well. Feel Kovacic might take the fall in this role as he is not that good going forward but he might be an option for DM along with Kante. It will come down to who is doing well to get started. I m sure RLC will be a big part of Lampard's plan next season. Barkley and Jorginio will be sold.

This gameweek results has ensured that top 4 will go down the wire. Among the 3, United seems favorites to finish top 4. Winnable game against West Ham and then a draw at home against Leicester will be enough. Chelsea are second because of the extra point, we need 4 to ensure top 4 which seems difficult with the way we're playing. Finally Leicester a close third only because they have 2 tough games on their hand, only advantage is that they have a better goad Difference. If and a BIG IF, all 3 teams wins their next games ... final day would be epic!!!

Sancho is domaintely a winger not a AM, for me Sancho is a Theo Walcott and some more. ... well the underlining there was there are other wingers who are much cheaper if we need those type of profile and he wouldnt cost 80m atleast.

I think Lampard is going for players who can play more than one position ... Wener (CF/LW/Striker), Ziyech (Middle/RW), Kai (CM/Upfront as 10), Sancho is a plain speedy winger who is scoring at the moment, I dont think he will suit the profile. More over he will cost loads of money and we have Said Behrami who can cover us as a winger at a low cost.

Please do it for the next 3 games as well

Dont understand the Oblak thing ... yes he is one among the top 3 but that is too much money (not that I care the money spend). If we have a situation where there is limited money then would rather invest the money on good defenders + someone like Onana ... Defending is not one man's job (Yes De Gea has single handed kept United floating for quite few years) and our entire unit in front of our goal is very dicey. P.S. 2 good defenders + good LB + Oblak ... all for it.

3 points is again the only positive for me from this game. There were so many mistakes which could have gone against us if the quality of our opponents was better (No disrespect to Norwich) ... Through balls nearly falling to our opponents, bad positioning, cant break the defense, bad passing, weak on the ball. After watching yest game I was wondering if Lampard's tactics are wrong or the players are just making silly mistakes. One thing I dont understand is why do we always keep starting from the back and trying to reset the attack from the back everytime when your in the final 3rd, none of our defenders look comfortable when they are pressed. This fixation needs to stop as it doesnt matter what formation we play it seems like the same. I hope the gods are really kind to us like they have been because only that is going to safe us in the next 3 games which are clearly against quality opponents.

Must have missed it Off late I started realizing that Mount can be like a Joker card for us ... He really covers the pitch well, presses well, good going forward and can defend (okiesh) ... If he can complement Kante or the DM we are set. Thats why i was so glad when Kante's role was changed post restart. Yes Mount hasnt done much in the game we lost but let's see ... wishful thinking.

I m more for this because I dont believe in selling Kante specially when we arent like other club who need to sell to buy ... I have some hope for Kante + Kovasic or Mount in the 2 ... Somehow I feel Mount could pair up well with Kante (wishful). Like i said with Lampard pushing him to the defensive end on the 3 with better defence (hopefully) it could work.

We keep saying that we need to sell Kante ... the thing is who is going to defend if he is gone ... No one in the midfield is capable of doing it not even Kovasic... , Under Sarri and Lampard he was pushed into an advanced role which actually screwed us. I m glad that Lampard has moved him into his preferred position ... Yes agreed there are those injuries issue but i hope it's just a phase ... still for me it makes no sense to sell the best DM (by a mile) we have ...

Yes he's very good squad player and yes u need such squad players in your team, they essential for the balance ... we just can't have 11 stars in our team. Agree he is not really shining at the moment but feel he does have the skills and attitude at this age. As Jason mentioned part of this could be down to the constant changing of position or could be other reasons.
