I've not read anyone else's thoughts on the Gomez Adams the circus clown goal,but IMO that was definately a goal. The vast majority of that ball crossed the line,if we're going by the whole of the ball crossing the line then what if one milimetre of the ball hadn't crossed the line,it's just wrong. Very silly rule,it should be the centre of the ball crossing the line,which in this case it more than did. Can't believe people are saying this definately isn't a goal,yet the ghost goal against us people seemed not sure. Definately a goal when I first saw it I thought what the hell is Harry moaning about and still do now,plus we should have had a peno and Kalou was offside very marginally but I thought strikers were to be given the benfit of the doubt in those positions anyway,in a rule brought in about 10 years ago. Technically the last player to get the touch on the ball scores the goal,meaning Gomez is one of the premierships all time leading goal scorers by now.

He can spend some time on the bench,that's what having a squad is all about. Hopefully we should have Sturridge plus a new signing chomping at the bit to get on and get some game time.

No,not that I know of. At the time Barca had a dutch dozen of players that could play midfield/defence. So i don't think Kluivert was ever needed there. The front Barca 3 in the late 90's of Figo,kluivert, and Rivaldo was lethal. I remember Vialli saying it's the best strike force in Europe and boy he wasn't wrong. As for them teams,I think they are the best XI 's from this millenium/century/decade (or whatever else). I was going to say you could add Figo into the Barca side too but he never really played for them in the noughties. If it was the best Barca XI of all time then I think Rivaldo would be a strong contender to get in the side.

Drogba won't go to Marseille unless they pay him what he wants,which I doubt. Why can't we have Sturridge,Drogs and torres in our squad? If we start with 2 of these 3 every match ,99% of the time Carlo always subs a striker for striker anyway so the player being benched will get time plus then there's the small matter of injuries. Let's not forget Torres is injury prone although we've not seen it yet. Personally i'd like 2 up front next season. Drogs and Torres preferably starting and forming a partnership with Sturridge and a new signing on the bench and starting FA and mickey mouse cup games.

Farca play act,Alves goes down like he always does and goes off on the stretcher just to make it about as realistic as TOWIE. We ask for a replay,get one and Alves gets booked (never a red card offence) then they can dive all they want afterwards. Even if he did get sent off 10 men can play act all they want then and no doubt try and get a player sent off to even things up.It still doen't stop the feigning injury which is the problem. Video replays at any time would only add seconds to a game so it's no big deal. Farca add 10 minutes to a game with all the playacting and surrounding the ref anyway.

No it's not enough. Against Barca play acting every 2 minutes,you may have 40 minutes in a game left with no video replay to use. I hope Platini and Blatter come down hard on them for surrounding the ref. I also hope Pepe gets his red card recinded just like Iniesta did his yellow. Yes and I'm judging them all. And Farca are by far the worst at it.

I think every Chelsea fan acknowledges that Drogs can over react at times. But compaed to Barca he's only an amateur actor.

Look at how many replays could have been shown in all that time Alves the diver went off on a stretcher. No reason why it can't be used for every debatable decision.
