It was just spot on decision from Conte to bring him against Stoke in the final minutes. The potters requered physical game and bringing him up was a nice idea. The boy has physical strength, tries to keep the ball well and is also fast, still have to improve ofc. That's why a loan in PL would be ideal for him, just the club need to be sure that he will get enough playing time as he has to improve and play a lot. He is young, has skills and it depends on him how far he can go, if we give him the opportunity.

Second game in a row in which our players were kicked through all the time and 2 wins. The lads showed spirit and desire to win this game and deserved the victory.

He was really poor today. It looked like, he is not interested in the game at all. He was more interested in fighting with Rojo. It was like back in the days with Mou in charge, when the 1st thing Diego was doing, was getting in trouble with the opposition defenders from the 1st minute of the match But seriously, I dont't get it why Conte didn't sub him off, he was standing offside, he was just bored, there was one moment when Hazard asked him why he is not moving on side, but always stays behind the defenders and can't be picked with a long pass. Hope he can overcome this poor form, because the most importang stage of the season is coming and we need him and his goals.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't want to mean that Conta wants exactly Llorente for a Costa replacement. What I think is that he was interested in the Spanish striker because he wanted another option up front if the game is not going in the right way (long balls to Llorente and using his good heading ability to direct the ball to other players or directly into the net), bacuse now, we can't do that with Costa.

Yeah, it's easy to see his form has dropped, but at least he is bringing goals for the team and that is his biggest task. I just remember how we missed even that in the last couple of years when we struggled with Torres up front, then Eto'o came for a season and actually wasn't so bad, but still was not the answer to our problem. Now with Diego, we have a striker who knows where to position himself in the opposition box and it's where he exactly needs to be most of the time, something that we missed before his arrival. His dribbling is a bit strange most of the time, if I can say it like that, but he is good at keeping the ball in his feet, also I think he has a good number of assists for us, if I'm not mistaken. Not perfect at link-up play, but still, tries hard and is doing allright at that, what I miss from him is that heading ability. It is a shame that this is probably his biggest weakness, as a striker it is expected from you to be good at it, but that's not the case with Diego and I also think that is what Conte is missing and that's why we were interested in Llorente.

Yes, yesterday he went off injured again. Shame, if it wasn't for so many injuries he could really be one of the world bests. I'm big fan of him and he is unplayable on his day, but now I can't see point of splashing big sum for him. These injuries makes him the perfect transfer target for arsene, for sure!

I agree that Bernardo Silva is an exciting player and would not mind having him in the team also, but Alexis is a proven world class player and has performed well enough to convince me for that opinion. What do you think would be the price that Monaco will ask for Bernardo Silva?

No one can say, but I think he is capable of doing it. Also Hazard can play on left too, so they can change positions often.

I feel sorry for the boy, because I thought and still think he is a promising lad. I'd think for a loan in PL for the next season, as I can see Conte wanting another type of striker (Llorente or Lukaku?). Still depends on if he wants to change the formation with 2 strikers, but that's another topic. Michy is young and the best thing for him now is to play as much as he can, so a loan can help us to see if he really has future in Chelsea and can develop or at least to increase his value before selling him.

Chelsea should at least try to sign him. I also think he can be a good part in our team next season. Playing in CL, there is no need to sell someone. Having Hazard-Costa-Sanchez trio and Pedro and Willian as back-ups, would be something I'll be pleased with.

Joke of defence from Southampton. Final, 88 minute, 2-2 and you let Ibrahimovic like this in the goalkeeper area... It felt like there are 4 Moses' in the Saints defence. Shame for the approach of Southampton in this game, loserpool would have done much better and I actually prefer Klop to win something than Mou with manure. Shocking defence, actually Yoshida gave everything, but this boy next to him, Stephens, made the worst performance from defender since Boulahrouz time at Chelsea. I don't know why Caceres didn't play if he was fit, I know he has just joined them, but that's a match where you need experience and they actually could get that form him.

Really unfortunate for the Saints, really bad referee and also it is a cup final, why these avarage referees are in charge of this game? But nowadays, looks like there aren't good English referees anymore. Nice that they scored one just before the half time, there could be a chance for them. Ivanovic is a club legend! I don't believe real fans will remember him with bad, because he did a lot for this club, won a lot of trophies, was one of the main players for a really long time and had some important and big goals. He is a warrior and I'm glad he was part of our team. He gave his best every time when he was on the pitch and was playing always with heart. And when he came he was almost no body and I'm sure a lot of people were questioning this transfer, something like Azpi's transfer. I think Cahill will surely be given a rest, so maybe Ake will start as a LCB with Terry and Zouma the other 2 CBs. But I'd also prefer Azpi, Moses and Alonso to get a rest, but that said, we don't have many options for their positions, so if Ake starts as a LWB, probably Azpi will keep his position in the back 3. Don't know why Aina is not given a chance, he is useful in these matches as a wingback. If Conte thinks to give a chance to Kenedy and keep him in the team, I'm 100% with him, I think the Brazilian can do a nice job as a wingback. I'd personally go with something like: Begovic - Zouma, JT, Ake - Willian, Chalobah, Cesc, Kenedy - RLC, Bats, Pedro

I really don't think Craig is good enough to be back up for us. Going form Begovic to him is a big step backwards. Of course I don't expect to sign Lloris, because being a bench warmer is not good for anybody, but we should look for better option in the transfer market.

Agree. Llorente is really different kind of striker and imo is worse choice than Bats. Also, Hazard and Bats showed good chemistry for Belgium and I'm sure they can make a good duo for us. Unfortunately for him, Costa is on fire and it seems like Conte doesn't trust him enough.
