Like others have mentioned, the only reason this isn't done is because Chelsea are still negotiating with Porto for Hulk. If we get him then we don't bother with Victor, if not then just slap on another 2M and Whelan will shut up. Anyways, I would prefer Hulk of course, but not if he's 40M compared to the 10M for Moses.

I rather he go to United than stay at Arsenal. Chelsea needs top 4 and no way we're making top 2 this year, so if the top 2 get better that's fine with me for now but if the next 2 CL spots get easier to obtain then I'm all for it. Maybe it's just me but I'm genuinely worried about the 2 CL spots this year, there are a lot of good teams (Us, Spurs, Arsenal & Liverpool) that if any overachieve we HAVE to match them otherwise we can be screwed big time.

Naaah, a lot of the fans very rarely get to see Chelsea, the real sell is just to watch Chelsea play live. I spent a lot and went to the New York match and I couldn't care less if we won, I just wanted to see Chelsea play and be with Chelsea fans and sing till I lost my voice. Sure it woulda been better if we won, but that didn't bother me, it is preseason after all.

Plus, I watched his last game with Lille and he came off like the most loved guy in the history of mankind during that game lol everyone was on his dick. Anyways, doesn't look like it's going to faze him, he has enough players around him that have gone through worse that can help him deal with this stuff. Also, if he tries another backheel in the next match, then he's a beast and I'm confident he'll be fine. Can't wait to find out haha.

I tried it in FIFA 12. I got 5 red cards in 5 matches, but on the positive side I also scored a bicycle kick goal every match.

I don't want to drop the bad performers because dropping someone off 1 match is stupid and those kinds of things ruin the entire season for some players. You have to show some faith. If they perform poorly again then fair enough, even the player himself will understand at that point. Luiz should start for sure imo, if our midfield is lacking again then we will need someone else to bring the ball up from the back against the Wigan bus. Depending on the scoreline, maybe a debut for Oscar as well if somehow he makes the bench. Hopefully we score a couple early goals so Mata can be rested as well.

He's been right before, I trust him. Well, wouldn't say trust maybe, just more confident in his reports than 90% of other football sites.

Yeah, Hutch didn't impress me either. He had some nice crunching tackles in one of the matches, I think that left a lasting impact on everyone even though he was quite poor for much of the preseason.

21 year old kid, doesn't know English probably feels completely lost, considering KDB and Romelu moved on as well. That said, I didn't think he was that bad. There were much worse performances out there. We need to add more 1-2s in our play, there were numerous times I saw him pass and make a run and got nothing back, but I guess that's to be expected as we don't have the best one touch passing midfield and they are probably still learning to play with each other. Anyways, making a firm judgment on the new players and the new Chelsea would be stupid until after the first 4-6 weeks. First competitive game of the season isn't a large enough sample size at all.

Yeah he was aggressive and made some fouls, but didn't get booked for any of em. Happy with that, plus if you aren't aggressive with them dribbling midgets they will run around you fairly easy and with the lack of cover Lamps and Mikel were providing that wouldn't have give him much confidence either. If you're moving forward with the defender and leaving a hole in the back, you better get the ball and/or the man, especially when your DMs aren't providing the appropriate cover, nothing wrong with that.

Switch Luiz and Terry. Terry and Cahill play like a regular CB pairing while Luiz just runs around closing everyone down and tackling.

Had a hand in both goals, decent start for him.
