lol funniest thing i've read all day, i can't stop laughing lmao

The potential for this guy is crazy high. He's the kind of striker that will easily employ an entire back 4 by himself. Good luck dealing with the 3 maestros then. He makes so many strong runs in behind it's crazy, just like Torres used to (even when I try to forget about him, I can't). And, on top of that he's soo big and strong that he can play with his back to the goal (not that good yet though, but he's improving). Plus I've been impressed with his dribbling too.

Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg

Probably swore a couple of times or players misheard him. No way he would have made racist remarks. If he did, I'm 100% positive the player would have went apeshit when it happened because you don't expect that from a ref. -
No thanks. I am a big fan and still think this goal against Barca last year was one of the most BEASTLY play I've ever seen. But he's too injury prone and we're not desperate enough to be taking chances on him. I'll loan him, but not buying.
-
Pick on Luiz cause it's easy. Joke of an analyst. Not saying he had a good showing, but he was still the best overall out of the back 4.
-
First I thought that with the 3 maestros we would need a quick striker who can dribble and link up and doesn't have to be an aerial threat at all. But this dude puts 50 yard crosses on a DIME !!! Considering how beast of a crosser Mata also is, I can't even imagine how man headers Falcao or Cavani or even old, slow, jet lagged Drogba would score.
-
As much as I want him to leave, I don't think Chelsea can afford to sell him. We would take too large of a transfer loss on our books if that was the case. His 50M would have been amortized over his contract length which is 5 years, if we sell him now we have to record the remaining transfer sum THIS year. That's what like an extra 25M? I don't think we can afford that, considering we'd have to spend a lot to get a replacement too, so you're looking at a minimum of 35M of spending this year alone. I'm almost positive we can't afford to have an additional 35M in expenses this year considering how much we've already spent. We're almost better off just buying a replacement in Jan and selling Torres next year so it goes on next year's books. Or loan him in Jan and sell next year.

I don't think it was Valencia, more so him just loosing focus really. He tried to press really high all the time and always left Valencia or Rafeal, whoever he was initially marking to press up. Tried to press way too aggressively.
-
Must win this!!!! Smash them cunts! Cech Azpi - Cahill - Luiz - Bertrand Ramires - Romeu Moses - Hazard - Marin Sturridge I don't think our squad is big enough at all, I think we should call back not only Lukaku but also De Bruyne.
-
Yeah, I mean there is an inevitable break in play when they score, by the time we kick off again the ref can easily confirm the offside. Calls like those are just ruining the match because not only are they unfair on the team but also on the linesmen. That was an incredibly tough call to make. The refs are already under so much pressure, last thing they want is to make decisions that they have no clues about.
-
I understand where you're coming from but he was our best defender tonight. The other 3 were even worse.
-
Lukaku making great runs, but he missed two 1 on 1s. Very poor.
-
How old is Soldado? He'd be awesome too and relatively inexpensive. I still would prefer Cavani over Falcao. We just need a good striker not the best goal-scorer in the world. We have more than enough goals in our side, we just need a striker, who can link up well with everyone, provide some aerial threat and hold the ball well.
-
I don't think we'll have that same problem with Rooney. Willian caused problems because he STARTED out wide and would move in, Teixeira did the same on the other side. Since Rooney will be starting in the hole in the first place, it's just man marking at that point which I don't think we'll have a problem with.
-
It's just too bad he'd been injured early in the season, otherwise he would have definitely got a couple of starts at CF so far and RDM would have been more comfortable giving him a start against United. I still hope he does because he can take any of the United back four 1 on 1.
-
Defensive lineup. Looking to draw I guess, which is fine, but we better draw or win. I have faith in RDM, let's gooooo! Ramires chip from 20 yards from a Lamps long ball that puts him through!
-
Hazard, Mata, Moses, Sturridge --- laaawwwwlll BEAST COUNTER ATTACK!
-
I agree with the Frank and Gerrard comparisons but does he have the same defensive ability as those two? Until he has that he's going to be a big liability in the double pivot.
-
I don't know if you guys noticed but I've noticed his short passing to the centre mids and the attacking mids is better than all our other CBs imo.
-
Thought he was pretty good, especially in the first half but he must score those chances, very very poor misses.
-
Heartbreaking defeat for West Brom,Lukaku deserved a goal, looked very dangerous.
-
You had to be blind to think that was actually her. They look nothing alike.
-
Only buy Falcao if we're going to sell Torres. Torres as second choice is worse than Lucas Piazon as second choice. Stick with Torres, Sturridge for this season. If Torres doesn't work or we dont feel he's good enough to continue, sell him in the summer bring Falcao and start next season with Falcao, Sturridge & Lukaku. Keeping two 50M, 200k/week strikers when we only play with 1 upfront is stupid business.
-
The way the team is set up, this is what attributes our striker should possess: Good link-up play with the AMs, especially with Hazard (greatest link-up player in the world imo). Stays in and around the box. Good one-touch, two-touch finisher with both feet and head. Decent hold-up play. Don't think we need a Drogba anymore, we can make do with a player that isn't the most complete player, but rather a proper 9. Who? Falcao obv, but he might be too expensive. He's the best finisher in the world, but his link-up play is very mediocre and if Chelsea has to be a force, their 3 AM will have to be goal-scorers too and that requires good link-up play with the striker. Damiao, I like him a lot, great finisher but he might have a hard time adjusting in the PL. Dzeko, incredibly underrated imo, I think he's a class player and if it was up to me he'd be my number 1 choice. Torres, Torres is like the opposite of Falcao right now, his overall game has improved so much but dude is no more a lethal finisher, not even great anymore. If he somehow starts finishing even half as good as the Liverpool Torres then I don't think anyone in the world would be a better fit.

Cazorla is getting more attention because he's a big fish in a small pond. Mata is a big fish in a big pond.
