  1. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH LUIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Still remember the bicycle kick cross he put in that match haha but also gave a last minute penalty if I recall correctly.
  3. He'll get a premier league loan next season and maybe the season after he can be part of the squad. However, I'm fine with next 2 seasons on loan in the prem. He's a defender no need to rush him, experience as a defender is just if not more valuable than ability.
  4. This is a trick question right? Because you're just going to say, NEITHER cause 100 die in Africa everyday.
  5. News is a business, they broadcast which they think people will watch. Using news as a barometer to judge a situation's serious is idiotic.
  6. This is what he said: "The conversation was very positive (with Chelsea). They are pleased with his progress and think he is ready to become part of the first team. "The only problem is there is still no clarity about who is head coach next season." So the board clearly rates him.
  7. Do you honestly think every hot prospect we're signing genuinely thinks he's being bought to become a Chelsea first XI player? They are signing because Chelsea is a big club and has state of the art facilities. You could be a shit player and just having Chelsea on your CV puts you ahead of several others. And even if he's sold (which won't happen imo) what's so bad in it for him personally? He used Chelsea as a stepping stone to get to Dortmund? Hardly a disappointing career choice.
  8. Yeah, he's not got on any of our youth team squads. Even Tika got appearances in the Next Gen. Charly is nowhere to be found.
  9. Um because there is hardly no risk with Piazon, worst case you break even? Best case you got a first XI player, so you dont even have to spend anything on a big name player. Average scenario - you make 5M profit off his sale. It's a business, there is no sure shot, you take risks but you also gotta hedge against them. Chelsea's youth academy is a hedge to purchases like Torres and whatnot.
  10. I don't mind keeping Demba Ba around. Our attacking mids get enough goals (most in the league?) so we don't need a high scoring striker, we need a dude with some BALLS who will work hard and not be a pussy. Demba does that, Lukaku will do that, big men who will bully the CBs and most importantly OCCUPY the backline and stretch them so the trio behind them can be even more influential. Furthermore, a better ball-playing midfield will help tremendously as well so we can keep at least one of Mata or Hazard further up the pitch with Ba/Torres ala Real Madrid where Ronaldo rarely tracks back and stays up as a one man counter-attack. Meaning, address midfield first then other positions.
  11. I don't give a shit what we do. Play a 5-3-2 and camp everyone in our own half and just launch long balls to Ba and Torres and get a scrappy goal for all I care. Just get the WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Why do you assume we'll sell him for a loss? I am almost 100% confident we'll make a profit off him. Yeah he might not make it at Chelsea but that doesn't mean he's not a good player. He's impressed at Malaga (suprisingly for me, as I thought that was too aggressive of a loan), he'll still be "young" in 2-4 years time with decent enough loan experience to fetch at least 10M. Like it or not, Chelsea is improving the youth academy to maybe promote a youngster or two but mainly to make a PROFIT from their sales.
  13. People need to calm down. When's the last time Chelsea sold a future world-class prospect? We don't need the money, and just recently KDB's agent even said that Chelsea want to keep him. No way he's getting sold.
  14. It's not a slight against Mata that he doesn't start for Spain, it's just the playing style clashes. Just like how Torres never shined for Spain at any point in his career like Villa has. Spain plays tiki-taka, Mata and Torres are too direct. I think even Isco will get more starts for Spain than Mata by 2018.
  15. Boga even though only 16 already looks like he's a class above our own super talented team. He needs a Mata like Hazard does, one more guy who can link up a little better with him. He can link up with a guy like Baker but Baker plays behind him while guys like Kiwomya and Feruz play with their head down.
  16. KDB hasn't played one minute in the pivot for Werder Bremen. He's either CM or on the wings.
  17. FA Youth Cup XI v Liverpool: Beeney, Aina, Davey, Christensen, Wright, Baker Β©, Loftus-Cheek, Colkett, Boga, Kiwomya, Feruz. Subs: Killip, Conroy, Dabo, Swift, Hunte. Very young side. Its a two-legged tie, no away goals rule. Also glad to have Adi Viveash coaching and not Dermont Dummy (why was he coaching next-gen anyways).
  18. I think he can be a good CM, similar to Lampard but not as good defensively. Pivot is a different beast. KDB has great technical ability and I wholeheartedly agree that his touch, dribbling and composure on the ball is something we dearly miss in the pivot but KDB isn't the answer. We want those qualities in our pivot but not from KDB, from a new signing. He is a very aggressive passer, he's way too direct to be a pivot player. He'll provide some good long balls and good creativity from the pivot but pivot's primary responsibility is to control the tempo of the game, you need discipline in passing and position, he doesn't have that. This is not a slight against him, I'm just pointing it out cause that would work against him in the pivot but not if he's further up the field. And I don't think we are overloaded with AMs. We have a lot but Marin, Yossi aren't Chelsea material. KDB is already better than Moses imo. RAM - Moses, KDB CAM - Mata, Oscar, KDB LAM - Hazard, KDB, Moses That's my depth chart next season. Marin, Yossi out. This is all assuming we keep 4-2-3-1, if it was up to me I'd play a 4-3-3 because then you might not even need 2-3 midfield signings. We are playing 2 pivot players right now when we don't have ONE good enough for it. We play 4-3-3, you automatically put Mikel, Ramires in their best positions. 4-3-3 DM - Mikel, Romeu RCM - Ramires, Oscar LCM - KDB, Oscar RW - Mata, Moses LW - Hazard, Moses
  19. Not a big deal at all, unless they stooped to punching each other. It's sports, this happens all the time. JT prolly does this 10 times a game but no one prolly has balls to say otherwise so you don't see a debate ensue.
  20. I wouldn't play De Bruyne in the pivot, he's too aggressive of a passer to be a pivot player even more than Hazard and you don't want that unless you're playing with prime Torres and want to play purely counter-attack and bypass the entire midfield (Mata, Hazard). Secondly, he's not good enough defensively either. I want him back and be first choice backup to all 3 AM positions, or even start over Moses as Moses seems like a better impact sub that KDB would be.
  21. There's a lot more to come from him. He's not shown even close to the form he's showed for Brazil. He's dominating and running the show often times for Brazil yet for Chelsea he's always been the 2nd or 3rd guy, hasn't shown that MOM performance like he does for Brazil on a regular basis.
  22. vs. Man U is my favourite (same game as that miss).
  23. Yeah Cech looks awesome. And the action shots are amazing too, especially the Torres one.
