No that's folly TCB. If Chelsea actually inform us of who they are interested in, it tells the rest of the world too, and then that brings competition for every player. We should at all costs keep this interest as quiet as possible to make as easy and cheap as possible to bring them in.

What an idiot. These players wouldn't be playing for Chelsea if they were that cack, they just weren't used effectively. It wasn't just Lampard who had a responsibility to get into the box, it was Gerrard too, and if they didn't get the in the box the whole game that tells me it was because of a lack of direction from McClaren more than anything else.

Crouch and Beckham had decent games.

I think admin should be a bit more descriptive with the Board offline message. Not just "go to talkchelsea.net", but "We have moved to talkchelsea.net, see you there!".

If he takes his goals well, it shows he is a good player. Not the maestro that we thought we had bought, but if he can come straight back into a team having been out of sorts for a while and grab a few goals against Premiership opposition, it shows he has got some confidence in his ability and is ready to fight for his place. That means an awful lot. That would give me confidence, because I'd know we have another option.

Grant hasn't carried on where Jose left off with Shevchenko. Jose was always trying to accommodate Andriy into the side somehow, yet Grant has hardly played him at all, he's been treated as a back-up. That clearly puts to bed the idea that Roman brought Grant in to try and get Sheva playing well again, because he has hardly played at all.Personally, I think this is fine for now. Soon we will need him during the African Nations and perhaps before, so he will have a good shot at proving himself.
