  1. RIP I never really knew that much about him (I obviously knew of him), but yeah, a TV personality lost at too young an age.

    Lost

They're doing it in the US tonight, I guess we get it Sunday. I'll probably download it because no doubt the rest of my mates will too.
  3. It's not you cracker, it's that the admin have determined that the letter "en" on it's own has to mean and. Very annoying. So are you a jew then mate? Because otherwise, I can't see why it should offend you so much. Maybe you're making a moral judgement on CM, and that really isn't necessary.
  4. I used to like reading every bit as soon as a year ago, but it's got superficial and boring now.
  5. Yeah I found it, was hoping for a bit of a longer lead up to the goal, but it'll do.
  6. Cracker the main reason CM can get away with posts like that is a) most of us are chilled out. Sometimes I forget to be, but I try to be It's marked under his username, and as such is his opinion and his responsibility We're not going to start telling people what to say and think. I don't agree with CM's anti-semitism, but I don't think he's as stupid to call for gas chambers etc etc, he just doesn't like them very much. We all have prejudices inside of us, yes even you, and while most of us fight to keep them back sometimes it's just not possible. And anyway, your user name could be construed as racist
  7. Anyone got a video of Ballack's goal?
  8. We don't need Ben Haim now we have Ivanovic, so there's no sense in bringing Boula back to cover Ben Haim if he goes. Same goes for if Ferreira leaves. Both Ferreira and Ben Haim could leave and we wouldn't need any more defenders. I'd hope that'd bring space for Mancienne or Hutchison to get a few games if we run out of players again, but otherwise, that works fine for me.
  9. We have that. It's called East Stand.
  10. Right, okay, fair enough, but it wasn't just those three games in the Christmas Period that we've had players missing. Grant has done pretty well considering the injuries we've had, but that is a lot down to the signings we made in the summer. Now whether that was Mourinho, or someone else (and I suppose it could have even been Grant) we don't know, but it was that foreplanning, that we learned to avoid the hard way, which has helped us out in the last 6 weeks. Credit where credit's due, and Grant has performed no miracles.
  11. In the end this is Michael's personal life. We can all sit here and pass self-righteous judgement, or we can accept that someone else's feelings aren't really understandable to us and leave it at that.
  12. And we can keep just as much track of it here in the right forum.
  13. Seriously? I thought Daniel Craig made a pretty good job of being Bond.
  14. This is a different question David, and a good one. I'm opening it again.
  15. I suspect there is a difference in what one considers the "Christmas period" here. For me, Christmas period = Boxing Day to first game of January. In that time, we got 3 points out of 9 last season, this time, 7 out of 9. So we did not win ANY games in the last Christmas period. And as for your Anelka comment, well that was utterly retarded, I'm sorry. He's made 2 starts and a sub apperance BECAUSE THAT'S ALL HE'S BEEN HERE TO MAKE! What the hell is your point there? He's scored a goal, provided at least one other than I can remember right now, and provided excellent attacking impetus. Okay, it's too soon to be lauding him as the saviour to all our problems, but he's certainly make an excellent contribution. And further more, as pluto said, whilst the likes of Tal Ben Haim and Pizarro haven't been fantastic, they have still played their part, because instead who would we be playing? Just these player's presence is enough to justify their purchases in times like these, and that is, presumably, down to Mourinho.
  16. You say that, but is that actually going to happen? Unlikely.
  17. Is anyone in a state of nirvana pluto? I don't think anyone is. You seem to be arguing with a hypothetical Grant lover... I don't see any, only those recognising that he's done better than expected.
  18. Great draw. We're at home against weak opposition and one of the top two are guaranteed to go out. Couldn't have asked for much more, other than for Liverpool to have an away tie.
  19. Eh, its obvious the top 4 are gonna be the 4 teams in the semi-finals... unless the draw tomorrow throws up some interesting ties if you know what I mean. I'm getting vibes that we'll either draw Bristol Rovers or Cardiff City, I think it's cause they're blue...
  20. Good to have you back mate!
  21. Yes but look at the time of this match. MAY! We won't have another game until AUGUST, which is a whole THREE months for the pitch to recover. Not a problem!
