  1. The man talks a lot of sense.
  2. He should stand trial wherever he committed the crime. I don't know about Thailand's legal system, but why should he get out of that just because he's rich and famous?
  3. Yes I'm sure there will be. I think places like Northern Cyprus (controlled by Turkey or something similar) doesn't extradite to anybody. But he's gotta get there first.
  4. Jesus how fucking stuck up are we as a club? HUGE NEWS EXCLUSIVE One of players has signed a new contract. It's not fucking big news, I don't even care if it's Frank Lampard. What a huge embarrassment. Trying to be the big cheese when there's nothing that big to shout about. It's great news, but clouded by the clubs magnanimous asswipery, not only highlighting the fact that we think we're God's gift to football, deserve to be on the back page of every paper all the time, but also the fact that we've well and truly taken for a ride by one of our most important players. I could very well believe the whole contract saga this summer was a falsity designed to increase publicity!
  5. No, he'd be arrested and handed straight to Thai authorities.
  6. I think Britain probably has an extradition policy with most countries. It doesn't have to be a formal agreement, it could just mean that Britain has extradited people to Thailand before and vice versa.
  7. That's not so prevalent this side of the pond pablo.
  8. From the title I thought it was they were going free permanently My first thought was "coulda done it before pre-season, bastards".
  9. The players visit hospitals around Christmas Time, they help out with community work sometime, I'm sure many of them would individually be donating to various charities too. It's not something they really make a song and dance about it unless they feel they deserve it for the act of donating to charity.
  10. I'd say it was because the club anticipated being in the Community Shield.
  11. Badboy, there's just no need for that! Does that make changingman2000, josesbluediamonds, oxfordblues paedophiles too?
  12. Hahahah fucking brilliant. Gonna have to get the Soccer Saturday drinking game going again
  13. I'm just wondering what jurisdiction the FA actually had over this game seeing as it's not in an FA run competition. The only thing I can think of is the referee and surely the club could have gotten anyone to be the ref for the day.
  14. We don't know that! Just because Chelsea didn't announce any bids and any other clubs did announce any bids doesn't mean there were no bids. Most of these transfers are done in complete private... it's only when you get a club like Real Madrid who make everything public when you hear about it before it's happened, or it gets drawn out into a long saga that the press are able to pick up on, like the Robinho situation, or when we bought Essien. Think of Bosingwa. There was no indication we'd be signing him until it happened.
  15. Oi Badboy, cut it out. We'll not have you driving new posters away because you're in a hump about your lover Didier!
  16. Drogba is quite clearly a mercenary, but in today's football world, it doesn't work to get annoyed about it. Just be glad we have him instead of someone else, as long as he keeps doing the business.
  17. We have our youth, just not in these exciting positions. Who cares as long as it works?
  18. God we do sell so much shit! Silly capitalism.
  19. I suspect that is bullshit misschief, that can't be true... And what an obscure team! He's obviously not good enough and no-one will buy him off of us as a result.
  20. Well the only number lower than available is 4 and I don't think you give an attacker that, not that that stopped Mourinho giving Boulahrouz and Sidwell the number 9! So yeah, 22, or 27 onwards (unless he's really brave and takes the 25).
  21. Number 9 shirt! I hope he holds on to that and proves his worth in it!
