  1. Don't worry, it's absolutely fine. It's not normal, but nothing wrong with it. We like to be a tolerable bunch here, no matter the race, creed, or text colour. Haha
  2. Yeah throwing on the kids was just a change because it was the best we could muster, but it didn't help one bit. Give the kids a bit of experience though and you can't go wrong there.
  3. It just seems odd trying to rely on the kid when he's yet to even score. It just seems so risky, until he scores at least, I don't see how we can do it.
  4. This was incredible really. Turned 5live on whilst heading to the game today, and the first thing I hear is "and we'll be talking to Harry Redknapp about why he decided to move to Tottenham". I was like, 'ang on!
  5. It's hard to criticise to be honest. Shaun Wright-Phillips and Shevchenko never impressed significantly well enough to justify keeping them when their former teams came along for them. We banked on getting Robinho, and for City to come into a huge amount of money on the final day of the season and steal him from our grasp was completely incomprehensible and unexpected. Had we got Robinho I think we'd be pretty fine right now, he was that last winger we needed, but we'll just have to fight without him now.
  6. They had language yes, but few could write, few could count. Science was primitive and limited. But I agree with that. See my first post in this thread, it pretty says just that
  7. No, it is that Liverpool parked the bus in front of the goal. It is that. It is also that we lacked the power to break through this bus. We didn't play brilliantly no, but we weren't terrible apart from up front. It's a wake up call, a kick up the arse. Lets not dwell on it, but realise we have some problems when Drogba is not about and sort them out.
  8. They didn't take it from us CJ! They ended it, but the record is still ours to keep for a long long time, if not forever. EIGHT-SIX games unbeaten. Such a magnificent record. Something to be so proud of.
  9. We knew today would be frustrating. Liverpool always come here to defend, and they did this with aplomb today. Their great defence vs Anelka who isn't good enough for the big games, he isn't strong enough against a determined defence, Kalou who can be frustratingly inconsistent and Malouda who just goes missing and it was little surprise we didn't score. They came here to do a job, them scousers did it well too, fair play to them. We'll bounce back better for it, hopefully Drogba will come back and stay fit and we'll keep the pressure on the other three title challengers.
  10. We're starting from 0 and have a lot to prove here.
  11. Yeah but not being fully fit from one injury can lead to a player moving differently and injuring a different part of his body.
  12. It says that those plans have been put on hold because of the credit crunch.
  13. At least it was Liverpool? Liverpool was the worst team to lose to.
  14. I humbly suggest Agbonlahor and/or Ashley Young.
  15. Yeah but with humans I have empathy because I am one myself. But if a human was to do something similarly stupid (unless it was a toddler of course, but I'd expect even a fairly young kid to realise it's a bad idea to JUMP out of a moving car), I don't think I'd be any more sympathetic. See the Darwin Awards. I don't have sympathy for these people, they are to be laughed at.
  16. I was talking in terms of centuries ago when these religions were invented, not now.
  17. Mikel's a fantastic player and is a fantastic midfielder in a set of fantastic midfielders here.
  18. Well I wasn't even expecting anything lol.
  19. Don't think we require any players, not if we're to only use one forward in a match.
  20. That is gruesome Tri-Blue Sorry guys, guess I just don't have the same sympathy for dogs. They're just dogs. It's not like I don't like them, I just can't muster the same fuss over them. There's so many of them, it's impossible.
  21. For me religion was a way of controlling a group of people and getting them to your side. It is also a source of comfort because when these religions were invented, there was very little understanding of the world. It was a catch all answer for everything. "Why is my wife dying?" - "It's God's work" "Where is the rain?" - "It's God's work" "Why does my lord persecute me?" - "It's God's work" "Why are our soldiers parading France murdering everyone in sight?" - "It's at the behest of the King, the king was appointed by God... so it's God's work"
  22. It's what a baby/toddler does when it's having a tantrum.
