Well Paim doesn't even have a squad number so clearly he's not being considered as first choice. Purely a reserve player this season, and if he does well then we'll keep him. I agree with Esk, we're better off keeping Sinclair in the squad. It would do us well to allow Sinclair to build up a few years unbroken with the club so he counts as a club grown player!

Anyone else think Bosingwa's goal was actually an Andy Griffin own goal? Didn't seem like it was going to go in until Griffin got to it. Decent performance. Controlled the game first half but we let Stoke get at us in the second and I would bet Scolari won't be happy. Managed to grab a second to kill it eventually and a win's a win in the end.

This will be by no means easy. Whilst no-ones heard of Cluj, they do have a good set of players, with a large amount of Brazilian, Portuguese and Argentinian players. Lars Hirschfeld, Yssouf Kone and Sixto Peralta are players I recognise so they're not a team of nobodies.

If a large amount of people are doing something considered illegal, then perhaps it shouldn't be illegal anymore. I'm sure under-age drinking is rife in American colleges and universities... if there are that many doing it, there's no reason for it to be illegal anyway. I think same goes for cannabis.

We've gotten him because Scolari knows about him. It's much the same as us getting Hilario in cause Mourinho knew about him. I wonder what number he will wear. Scolari has described him as similar to Makelele in attitude and role, so maybe he'll just take the number 4 role. The deal is only for the season by the way.
