Personally I like the idea of this tournament. I think it serves a purpose of bringing the game together over the world. And in the end, it'll be either a South American team or a European team that wins it, so it's not like there's no sense of competition.

Deco shoots from long distances? I thought we signed Deco because he was a playmaker? What he means is, we lack a decent winger. Which is ever so true. Joe Cole - not really a winger Malouda - shite and too slow Kalou - a striker/winger hybrid who isn't good enough -Youth players- We needed Robinho. I can't think of who else we might sign.

But I think he has done pretty well. Problem is, he's not a Carvalho type defender, so Carvalho will always slot back in when fit. If it was Terry out, and Terry wasn't captain, then he'd have a real chance. But as it is, just let him go. We don't NEED him, not when he's back up and we also have Ivanovic and Mancienne.
