True, but Cole is the most experienced in this team, if he was this good leftback everyone goes on about then we wouldn't have this problem. He was shite last season, always making mistakes, the worst player in defence in the 5-3 defeat against Arsenal. But no one speaks about that, everyone talks about his performances in the big games. Well i want more consistent performances, and Cole is just playing rubbish constantly. Sure he's just came back from injury, but he didn't just come back from injury all those other shit games.

Yes you speak to rmpr ON MY THREAD, so if you're going to be an arse to me, then please go before you over hear the bell when i talk.
-
If you're going to post idiotic things like that, just leave the thread, because i want a good debate, not some mindless crap like most of your posts.
-
You're wrong, it's not his fault it's the rest of the team, they aren't working hard enough.
-
Very good today?, did you watch the game?.

Ashley Cole is incredibly overrated, it makes me angry when he makes mistakes no one has a pop at him, and he's playing consistently poor. We just got outplayed by Juve, there's no exaggeration, it's not good enough. I'M TIRED OF THE EXCUSES!, we keep getting smashed and controlled by teams in the centre. But we keep getting these mindless excuses all the time, yeah well you gotta get some good ones if we keep losing like this.
-
Get off it old man, you don't know what to do with yourself anymore, you sure you can handle going on this all by yourself?
-
How about you just avoid my thread all together and not post in it at all. That would be nice.

Instead of starting my own little rants in the player section lets discuss all this in here. Okay we've just been absolutely played off the park, we are no top team, no top team gets outplayed like that. It doesn't happen. Juventus were playing at a slow tempo and getting through our team, no one was breaking up play in the middle, there second strikers and inside players like Vidal could come in as well as they please. Defence for me is getting a joke, Terry out we are fucked. David Luiz is becoming a joke, i think it's time we sell this one, he is clueless, Cahill looks average but i want him in this team regardless. The midfield is really starting to bug me though, Ramires is now starting to show recently that he's not good enough. Almost everyone in the Juventus midfield can pass, and Ramires was just giving the ball away all the time. At least that's something Mikel can do, but he's no saint at it either. If anyone thinks the double pivot is good enough sort yourself out, really, because we just gotten out played completely. And i know what I'm expecting here, i expect people to pinpoint the blame on someone else, because everyone just thinks I'm a Mikel hater and my opinion him is therefor not valid. I loved how when Juventus lost the ball or when they couldn't get through they could pass it back to the defence, then the midfield then start again. But the sad part is, this barely happened, because they could get through most times. People who we should be getting rid of Ashley Cole, I'm tired of his inconsistency, he's becoming so poor and keeps leaking. I think it's time to let this lad go at the end of the season i really do. David Luiz, do i need to say anymore?, what a poor player, not good enough good bye. Ivanovic, I was talking about this before, if we are going to start this attacking system then he has to step down or leave, because he always ruins the attacking flow. Also he's one of the worst passers I've ever seen, the amount of times he has given the ball away with just terrible terrible passes is uncanny. But he wasn't so much of a problem today, however that's not my point. Mikel, not good enough, Vucinic just walked into our box, the defence had their hands full, where the fuck was he?, how many times does he do this?. He's never there to break up play, I've never seen any top team give the opposition so much time and space infront of their own box for the opposition to just pass to each other and pull strings. We have four fucking attackers, and we don't even gamble on getting the ball back?, what sort of shit system and shit idea is this?. I've at least seen Ramires get stuck in, Mikel is never even there for us to pass back, where Juventus could pass the ball back to Vidal or Pirlo in the centre and they restart play, Mikel is never fucking there. Ramires, for me he's not good enough in the double pivot, good squad player unfortunately that's all he will ever be for me, start a few games come on a few games. Has done good for us for the time being, but today he really met his match and it's happened more than enough times. Had a very bad game today for me, but the back 6 where really terrible. I'm not going to lie, I'm pissed off, very pissed, but this is no kneejerk stuff. I made this because i would like us to discuss our options here, can we seriously be thinking these players are good enough?, this isn't just one game this has been happening for a while, even when we win games we leak so much it's not even funny. So many mistakes, we are becoming as vulnerable as Arsenal, if not more vulnerable. I think our main problem though is the double pivot, that match against Attletico which was a disgrace by the way, we got completely out played and lost 4-1, which should've been 7-1 to Attletico at least. Falcao had so much space, but most of all for a team what plays with two DM's, the space between the midfielders and defence was disgraceful. I think we miss Lampard in his prime, i liked that system where we didn't get fucking dominated, Lampard always did have an underrated work rate, he always came back and done his job, no fucking way he should play in double pivot at all, but i miss his duty in the team. Our team is just all over the place, no organistation no nothing, just got a few clever feet from attackers and that's about it.
-
Not good enough, anyone tells me Mikel or Ramires are good enough, please go fucking sort your head out.
-
I'm giving him more time before i judge, a few more games. I had a dream we lost against Sunderland last night, that's nothing i know, but my gut just doesn't feel right about this season. I'm not being negative it's just when i look at the squad i see so much vulnerability in it, especially at the back and midfield. I know we wont contend for the title that's not the problem, my problem is i can see us having another failure season, one where we really under perform. It's been too long for that shit now, way too fucking long. God i fucking hate november.
-
Doesn't matter, as long as there's a lot of fuss about it, it adds more chance of him fucking off in my opinion.
-
Lots of reports saying Torres wants to leave Chelsea, great news.
-
2-0 win to Juventus or more. Don't even expect us to score, because who exactly can on our team?, we have no strikers and most of our other players couldn't finish their dinner. November really is fucking horrible for us isn't it, we never do good in this month, especially for the last 2 seasons running. Under Carlo we lost 3-0 to Sunderland and 2-1 to a terrible out of form liverpool, infact we didn't win once that month i don't think. Then under AVB that's when we started losing our games under him and when we wanted to get him sacked, because in December we had a huge turnaround and got 3 points at newcastle, beat Valencia 3-0 also. Thanks to the bid Drogs, but who the fuck do we have this time?, oh fernando torres?, yeah we will probably lose for the rest of the season with him in the team.

Lukaku has done much better if anything, i honeslty thought he should've went to the Championship as i didn't think he could cut the premier league just yet, but damnit he's proved me wrong.
-
What I'm saying is, at least he was good at Boro, Brad Jones has been good at neither, all we had to do was place our shots and they would of went in.
-
At least Ross Turnbull was actually good at middlesbrough.
-
You do know that's a stupid reason Leif, every player has potential, no one turns suddenly good, and it's not like Lukaku is dreadful infact he's very good. Lets say if we never heard of Lukaku not even once, we didn't even buy him, West Brom signed him at the start of the season from some 5th belgian division or something. And if he was playing like he did, admit it most people on this forum would be wanting him and saying he's something special. He's been playing really good for his age, and he will only get better.
-
Lukaku is nothing like Drogba, completely different strikers actually. Drogba was a real team player upfront, everyone scored goals around him and he was involved in almost every damn goal. He also has a great determination, hence his big game record. There's some players you just can't change, look at Mario Balotelli, if he changed all his attitude and became a good guy, he would be a totally different player and for me he would be worse. His mentallity is getting back at people and proving people wrong, that's how he gets his goals, that's why he stands still when he scores and says a big fuck you to all the haters. Drogba used to sulk at times, sometimes never got involved in the team pre training because he used to be that pissed off, for example Carlo in the 2nd season, it was about december when he was like that, against that copenhagen. Though i think mentallity can determine a player, my point is Lukaku has a completely different one to Drogba, i feel Lukaku is the one who will stay quiet and keep his frustration inside if there is any. But that also seems to keep him in good spirit and hope, like he is at West Brom, he's grateful for his minutes and enjoying his time there, playing with the team and not being too greedy to try and impress Chelsea. He's actually working for Steve Clark in the way he wants him to. But in terms of a player, Lukaku will get you more goals than Drogba, Lukaku seems to be more of a goal scoring striker, his finishing and movement is actually very good despite a lot of missed chances at West Brom, i assure you when he's in his prime he will be scoring for fun from all angles and troubling defences. However i would expect him to be more of a Mario Gomez, not completely failing in big games, but not coming to life in them either. Like i doubt he will be able to raise his game, he seems more of the consistent in his own way type. Completely different striker to Drogs though, but he's a lot better than Drogba in some ways, under Roman we are still yet to have a striking goal machine.
-
By the way, don't want to bring anything up or make shit worse, but the fact that Brad Jones was in goal which I've just remembered, makes this a zillion times worse. He is the worst keeper in the world and we couldn't score more than one?. God help us against West Brom really.

Learn how to read, i stated in my previous post, that i said that Mikel offers nothing in attack either, as he offers nothing in defence. I never ever stated once that he needs to offer in attack, i even stated it's unimportant. Please have a bit of sense.

Torres = not good enough a must get rid of Sturridge = very special talent, and very underrated by a lot of fans on here. But he's not a CF, Danny needs to realise he isn't a striker, and if he wants to play as a striker he wont ever get to play like that for a top team, his strengths are out wide or behind a striker. It was stupid relying on him for backup striker. We haven't got one forward in our team besides Torres, that says it all. I think we need a hard worker and team playing striker, one who can make use of space as well as more phsyical in the air, as we seem to really lack that. I really hope we go for Edin Dzeko, as he wants to play first team football, he's said this on match of the day interview himself he wants to play. We might be able to use that as an advantage for getting him a lot cheaper, should definitely try for that one anyway.
-
What the hell do you mean by that exactly?
-
I wouldn't complain about Uniteds injuries, look at Cities, jesus christ they have the largest squad in the fucking world and they just don't get injuries what so ever. David Silva meant to be out for months, makes a remarkable recovery, Aguero don't even get me started, he was meant to be out for half of the season and is back within less than a month. Micah Richards is injured but it's no biggy as he wont ever get into the team as he doesn't fit the system, City already have 3 right backs as it is.
-
People underrate Romeu though, It's no doubt he will be much better than Mikel by the time he's Mikels age. We seriously need to look after that one and treat him like a prospect, i think people are just not liking him because of the Barcelona factor.
