Haven't seen one decent post from you yet, don't get me wrong i disagree with most people on here against me about Mikel, but at least they put up a decent arguement. Straight away you've gone into me going on about his goals, when all i stated was he even lacks in terms of attacking, so there's not even a good side to him there. So straight away you've made yourself look like a tool. I also can't remember putting Mikel with Tiote?. I would take Mikel out of it as he just isn't good enough at all. Then get a different type of player, Ramires is a good ball winner and has the pace we need, but Tiote could do a better job as could Sandro or Lucas for liverpool (don't know about now due to his injuries). Obviously you need a different player next to that person, i would prefer someone who stays deep with the ball and covers, but also has a very good passing range. But that's very hard to come by now days, most creative players are attackers, like Eriksen and such.

He's always going to be a problem when the other team are on the counter, and that's a huge risk, also his marking, especially in the box is tragic.
-
Why because i don't think Mikel is the best DM in the world like most of you on here?.
-
What the fuck?, listen to yourself, if he didn't think he was the best you would have a go at him for not having enough confidence. He can't win either way with your arguement. He has to move on, but people need to also stop with the Falcao shit. We can't just go demanding players after players. Falcao is world class, but I've seen some idiotic people on here say 'oh well if falcao can get those type of goals in the attletico team, just think how many he would get for us'. I think we need more of a team player if I'm honest, i think Cavani would also be a better buy and we should definitely try and look into Edin Dzeko, we could use his desire for first team football as an advantage to getting him cheap.

And you call us deluded.
-
It's a shame we have to be part of the worst transfer in history.
-
Awww poor Herbert, can't turn your life around now can you?, awww such a shame mate.
-
Someone consistently good.
-
NOOOO!, you can just keep Pandev
-
I missed you sooo much, oh and yeah people are wanting cavani bad man.
-
SOLO, I LOVE YOU MAN
-
Go cry about it then, you people are all twats anyway, so it's pointless me even posting an arguement. Time and time again i have posted so many examples in matches and how bad Mikel is, but no you're just ignorant, typical of you really as you lot are the same.

Sorry but no matter how hard you try, you will not convince me that Ramires has a good technical abillity, it's not his vision what is a problem, he struggles making a decent pass, he will overhit it or just simply misdirect it. He did that a lot last season, which was very annoying. And don't even get me started on his dreadful crosses. However as you said, the player we are asking for here, is extremely hard to come by, indeed it is, there's not many out there what can do the job. Joao Moutinho is often brought up, but come on, he's at Porto, unless you want to risk 600 billion, don't even fucking bother. But to be fair I've never seen the big hype with Moutinho, yeah fair play portugese league he can rip it up. However I've never seen him perform against good sides and in a different team, but to be honest I'll admit the only other time I've seen him play against those teams is international, and he's quite average to be honest. He looks nothing superior off the ball or on it, so i think he's a gamble anyway, but that's because i haven't really seen enough of him besides a few porto games in the porto league and international games. Though honeslty besides him, i don't think there's anyone, who can be considered as realistic target that is.
-
Well i suppose we should go get him then, no one can have a great performance against united of course.
-
Or that might be because we don't have another defensive midfielder except for Romeu who is very young and hasn't been the same since AVB departure?.
-
Don't get my post twisted when i mentioned Zidane and Dembele, because fuck me i should be shot dead if i even compared with those two. I was just talking about the criteria of them type of players. And no, Ramires has sparks where he can make a great pass, or cross, like the cross to Drogba against Napoli when we went 1-0 was just amazing. But come on he will pull that off once out of 10 wont he unfortunately. And the other 9 crosses, well about 6 of them wont make it on the pitch. Okay slight exaggeration but he is very inconsistent with them type of things... well technical abillity. We can't have a good pass now and then, we need that consistent and reliable player in the deep, Ramires will never be able to take that on. But i do believe he can establish himself a place in this team and get better. I wrote Ramires off last season, i did joke about selling him with the pictures, but i did think at first he should be sold or dropped. The thing what's so special about Ramires, is that he's so damn adaptable, i thought he would only have 2-3 decent games in DM as it's not really his place, but fuck he's gone out there and done it. He can do the job pretty much anywhere and still be effective, okay fair enough he was dull on the right wing but he still done decent and worked hard.

Mikel has some good things, his passing is brillaint, but he's not that consistent at it, like the Juventus game for example when he kept giving the ball away on simple passes. Last season under AVB his passes where fucking brilliant, he was pulling the strings just by simple passes, like against Laverkusen when we won 2-0 or 3-0 can't really remember, he was surrounded by about 5 players then he would chip it up for a perfect pass towards Mata, and then Mata, Anelka, Torres are up against two people. He does have a nice first touch, he's a good safe player, but he's not the player i want on my team when the other team have the upperhand, or when they are on the counter or attack, fair enough the counter he's always going to struggle as he lacks pace. However the best way to describe Mikel is really good on the ball, poor off the ball.
-
Ramires can be bad when it comes to technical skills, like he's never been a gifted passer or crosser or anything. He can take players on with pace and then pass the ball, but he's not Zidane or Dembele who are very good midfielders at doing that. You always need that deep passing player, this is my opinion although i have faith in ramires, i realistically think we will need two new DM's, could be wrong but that's what i think.
-
Sorry mate missed your post, but i think it's fair to say when it comes to a DM, Sandro and Tiote are on another level than Mikel and Ramires. Though Ramires and Sandro are actually very similar, i do rate Sandro more at his duty. But Ramires has done very good. However i don't want both of them in the double pivot, cannot be too similar. I think what we need is someone who covers a lot more and has much better positioning, Tiote and Sandro don't do that, they are more ball winners, but are very good at it. Ramires seems to be our ball winner who gets about the pitch. However Mikel seems totally useless in the midfield and is usually the fault in the midfield. Stats will not convince me, it's a team game, different team you get different outcomes for each player it's a fact. However you might laugh yes but someone who covers for example is Gareth Barry, yes i know he can be quite mediocre, but he does do his job very well, that's why City can bomb forward all the time. Okay now look at there game today against Spurs, Spurs where 1-0 up, AVB stubborn bastard still plays highline, even though Mancini has brought on Kolorov and Maicon, so there's more options for Yaya Toure and David Silva to pass too. So Gareth Barry stays back and covers, and he's really good at it, that's why he plays for Man City still. He's a vital player for them, even though he's an average tackler and gets skinned at times. Mikel does nothing but stand there, leave his man unmarked which people wave off all the time. His positioning worries me at times, i think we need that player to cover, although Ramires can be useless when it comes to passing, but he has gotten better, i have faith he can still become a better player for us.

It's actually shocking how bad this forum has gotten, you can't even post a point without getting told to grow up. Grow up for what exactly you mindless prick?, fact of the matter is i never said anything abusive in my previous post, nothing at all, and I'm getting told to grow up because i'm describing a player and his performances 'appropriately'. That makes no sense what so ever, forum has gone downhill, never used to be like this.

It's Torres's last chance, and he blew it. My uncle who has always been a liverpool supporter his whole life, kept saying to me you can't say he's finished if you haven't played to his advantages yet, and now we have, and now he says he is definitely finished. He doesn't make any use of space, no confidence in him, no reliability, most of Torres's goals aren't even equalises or winners, they mostly come from when we are winning 2-0 or something. Not to undermine his goals but it's a harsh reality when you look at it, he's a poor player and it's time to get rid of him. And you are spot on, it isn't RDM's fault, Tomo summed it up perfectly, we haven't played like this in like 2 seasons now, and this time we actually deserved to win easily. Just a shame we conceded. Title is unrealistic this season for me and always has been, yeah of course i had that hope we can do it and that's why I was so gutted when Liverpool equalised. No matter, lets just go on to next game and try to get as much points as we can and focus on other competitions.
-
He hasn't played a game yet except for Wolves, and people are already saying yep he's a squad player for sure. In pre season he was better than Hazard, his dribbling was class, he looks like he has more ideas than hazard going forward. He has to start playing games.
-
How many more excuses to make for him?, I've had plenty of times to come in here and critizise him but I've never, I've actually been patient and give him some time to see if he can be useful this season. But he's still not good enough, really hope he is ridden of at the end of the season and get a new player there. He offers nothing upfront either, this maybe unimportant for a DM, but really 160 premier league matches and 0 goals?. Not that it should matter but most fulbacks have a better record than that. Doesn't really fit our system or anything, DM's are meant to be the most consistent, and a few decent games in a row isn't enough for me.
