  1. No, they are different players, Diame is more of an attacking player however he has pace to come back and actually surpisingly does a good job. Going forward he can be a monster also, got a lot of flair about him, he's pretty similar to Ramires actually, although Diame looks better, Ramires would still do a better job than him in our team if they were both on the same side. Tiote is completely defensive, he's not one for doing skill or going forward, he's got a decent pass on him also. But he's just a ball winner, he will run around all game and win the ball back, just like an Essien, however we need that sort of player as i don't think Ramires is so great at what he does but he's good. Tiote has just became so damn injury prone it's uncanny, someone once told me he's injury prone and i said he isn't. Well i was wrong about that one, this season he's had like 3 injuries already, i think he's just came back now. Haven't had time to watch him much this season.
  2. How is this guy still doing?. I'm going to be honest here i don't think he's good enough to be a Chelsea player, that's just my guess, obviously it's very early and yeah sure it's harsh. I had high hopes for him but he looks so bad when he comes on and plays a cup game and even in friendlies he seemed to just give the ball away everytime he had the ball. He doesn't seem to have the mentallity or even any skill suprisingly to ever make it, even if he is 18 he should be showing signs regardless. Well anyway lets just see how he does i suppose, probably pointless stating this at the moment but it's what i think.
  3. Don't you worry i will, I'll even write down their address whilst I'm at it. And poor Essien, i hate knee injuries
  4. What pains me most about our team is how weak the midfield is, people expect great things from Mikel and reckon he's the best DM in the league lmao. The reality is Mikel couldn't get in any other team what competes for top 4. Ramires is a good player but we don't know how long that will last as his game relies on pace. The dude in your avatar is one of the greatest midfielders we've ever had, and the funny thing is some people on this forum reckons Mikel has potential to match his level.
  5. If you watch Barcelona you will know what i mean, did you watch us play them last season?, we scored two goals at their own stadium with 10 men. Real Madrid usually score 2-3 goals against them on average per match. And Madrid are having a off season, Ronaldo still not happy there and still not scoring as much goals as he usually does, they also finished 2nd in there group. And did you see what i said that Barca rarely give the ball away?. The fact is Barca are another level to Madrid, the only thing Madrid can hope for is that they drop silly points, and they dropped stupid points last season and Madrid took advantage.
  6. No Barca are very shaky at the back, that's because they don't play decent teams in the La Liga, when they play a good team they always concede a lot, however they score more. The reason they don't concede so much is because they attack that much and don't give the ball away. But it's starting to show that Maschenaro isn't a centre back, he's made quite a lot of mistakes there.
  7. That's a shame, to be honest we were the best under Mourinho, our defensive record was unbelievable. I like having a good defence, a nice composed style of play and dominent, rather than fancy flick passes and fancy skills. I like to have a good control of the game and every team worrying about us when they are to play us.
  8. No you never called anyone stupid, i probably shouldn't of said you where insisting it because it seems bad. Well don't worry whatever i said there i wasn't implying anythig bad what you said or anything. And true it doesn't mean you built your opinion on that incident, it just winds me up when someone has a good perfromance and then there's a post like 'he's one of the best strikers in europe that lad'. Like when Ibra thumped England with 4 goals, or when Hart had a good game against Madrid and people where insisting he was the best goal keeper in the world. It's just pathetic that kind of thing.
  9. Yeah exactly, that's just media shit for me. Though i still think Pep will end up here, as he is the only decent candidate on the free agency list, lets face it Mourinho wont come back here, who else can we get?, Marcelo Bielsa cannot speak english, Hiddink is retiring, there's pretty much no one. And Rafa is the fall guy definitely, i don't think he will have the job next season.
  10. Xavi seems to be that player who doesn't need his physical aspects as much, with experience of passing which is always going to improve no matter what, that's what has gotten him better. That is the only scenario which cannot really be proven or anything, maybe Pep did make him better maybe he didn't. Though Messi and Iniesta, Iniesta came into his prime for me, and Messi was just young, Messi is pretty much just getting better as the years going along. However what does this actually benefit?, Barca is a different job for me Pep is completely unproven.
  11. Well fair enough then, and i think Mancini will still be at City, i can still see them winning the league this season. I think Mourinho will stay at Madrid for another season or two, and i think Pep will end up here after Benitez, however i always had this strange vision of Pep being Spain manager. But anyway all i can say is i hope you're damn right about it, because if Pep does come which does look likely considering the options of managers available, i just hope he's good. I have my doubts about him, the English game is completely different you have to remember, fouls are also more expectable which would be a huge disadvantage to Guardiola straight away if he is to enforce the same system he had at Barca.
  12. I know but i just remembered when you went on about Nuer, he made one mistake and then used that as your point for people like me being stupid insisting he is better than Cech.
  13. HOW DO YOU KNOW ROMAN VIEWS HIM AS HIS GUY?, ARE YOU ROMANS 2ND MAN OR SOMETHING?. Lets face it you can't have that as a point because you don't know how true it is, it's all paper speculation just because Guardiola is a free agent and probably the best one out of all the managers what are available. And no mate I'm not that stupid I'm not insisting that anyone can manage Barcelona, because it's a very hard job. However it's also a unique job, one can not deny that managing Barcelona is completely different to managing another club such as Chelsea, because it's a completely different thing, different league, completely different players and football. Going to a club like Chelsea, i don't think Guariola is cut out for it if I'm honest, i also don't think he has proven himself there yet, he's done a fantastic job at Barca which not so many could've done better, but when it comes down to it he's unproven. Barcelona is a completely different job. And United fans hate the glazors, they barely show any interest in there club, not like Roman does. Roman is a saint to this club always getting to the games when he can and always putting in a lot of money when he doesn't have to. Glazors have literally drained United, taking more money out then putting in. Believe me if they could dump that club they would. As for your Mourinho arguement, i don't think i can battle it, because it's just two opinion on it really. Fair enough if you think that's the best thing, however i do think City not winning it this year is a bonus, despite a replacement for Mancini, as I've already explained and you've already explained.
  14. Did you read what i said?, i said that Pep has made good decisions regarding youth, and by youth i meant in his developement with the likes of Messi and being careful about it. But that doesn't mean anything, it's criminal to say that they wouldn't of became great players if Pep wasn' there. And does it occur to you that Iniesta hit his prime coming into 27/28 like most footballers?, does it occur to you the type of player Xavi is, the more experience they gain they seem to play a lot better, just likes Paul Scholes for example, and also Messi was only a young one then, that's not really a good arguement at all considering he's still only 24 now, or maybe 25 but still not exactly old, scary thing is Messi might not be in his prime yet.
  15. Funny thing is, i remember about just over a month ago when we where winning games, people were flipping at me for saying United are still a threat don't get so cocky. And they had written them off already, now look, 10 point gap in just a month.
  16. Why?, i think Mancini will do a better job than Guardiola in my opinion. And Guardiola isn't unproven?, are you serious?, he's just got Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, also made some of the worst transfers in history, he's made some good decisions in his time with youth but that's all i can give him credit for. Not to mention anyone who goes to Barca does a good job, aren't they first now with a person who used to be an assistant?. You also think that do you?, okay so what's your logic about it then?, Uniteds play and players there don't even fit it, you seriously think Mourinho will go to united so he will go there and they wont let him spend a penny, because if Mourinho goes there he will want a complete overhaul and get some quality in. And Glazors aren't going to let him spend much at all, i don't even think the Glazors are even that bothered about United anymore, the debt they are in they just want to survive as long as they can, they can just about pay there day to day debts however that wont last, so there main aim is to make it last as much as possible. Mourinho wont go to United, City however it's a posibility, but i still don't want City winning regardless, just because of that ''potential'' threat that Mourinho will go there, because come the fuck on, it's going to be there every season and why worry about it. I would honeslty just rather hope City don't win a thing.
  17. I don't think they were that lucky this time if I'm honest, against us and Liverpool the luck they had and terrible decisions what went there way was disgraceful. But if you mean lucky in another way then yeah sure luck was on there side but i wouldn't say it was completely underserved, i heard Young wasn't offside and that was a definite penalty for Evra when Kolo Toure pushed him.
  18. Are you insane?, lmao you think Mourinho will go to United?, does it ever occur to you that he wont go to clubs who are bad financially, infact he wont even touch them, hence why he's been to us, Inter and Madrid, i can see him staying at Madrid for a little more if I'm honest. And i don't understand your logic either, if Mancini is going to keep the job that must mean he's winning things, so either way it's defeating the purpose isn't it. And what about Pep?, you talking about the unproved manager?, yeah lets just see how he does with another club first. It's only one game, you can't just just off that.
  19. No, United are finished once Ferguson leaves, they are in huge debt and no ones going to replace ferguson. As for City it doesn't matter, if they win a trophy the main point still remains unjustified, they are winning things, so in order for them to not win things is for Mancini to lose as much points as possible so he doesn't win the title this season.
  20. I don't get this logic, it makes no sense. So it will keep Mancini the job?, if he wins the title and wins a few more other trophies, what's the logic in that, he's still winning things for City if he's keeping the job so i really don't understand how this escapes the point in the first place.
  21. I want United to win but fucking hell, that's really underserved.
  22. Not happy about conceding, that clean sheet is still looking impossible.
