Oscar was beyond garbage in the Madrid friendly yet. He looked out of depth against a largely reserve Madrid team yet this is a first team player here. Just goes to show the difference in levels between the two clubs.
I can kinda see what he's saying. Is this guy the real deal? Our past dealings don't exactly inspire that much confidence. We just had Pato on loan ffs!
True. Zouma deserves a chance to return. Then we have Christensen returning next year.
If we sign one CB (Coulibaly) we could possibly be OK for now and reconsider things in January.
By January we could have a back 4 of Zouma, Coulibaly, Azpi + one.
You have to understand these guys are young too. Michy is only 22, why wouldn't he be on social media? Just a shame for him that the vast majority of our fans are dickheads.
Good news is I think he is highly motivated to bounce back and perform well.
Bad news is that the motivation may stem from wanting to be move on next summer.
I've noticed a lot that when Azpi gets the ball, Conte is always pointing towards Hazard as if to say pass to him. But Azpi recives the ball on his right and then looks infield and passes either to a DM or a CB. Surely Conte will get sick and tired of this and want a left-footed player?
We could have prime Makekele playing next to Kante and our defence would still be poor. Maybe a team could carry one of Cahill, Terry or Ivanovic but all 3 of them? Absolute joke.
We can only hope that's the case and to be fair to him we seem have made bids for Coulibaly.
It's amazing how easily we signed Kante and Michy but we seem to be struggling to sign a player in arguably our biggest area of need heading into the window.
Even in some of the pre-season games, you can see Conte telling the team to push up but we've got Terry and Cahill dropping deeper and deeper. It's depressing.
3 of our back 4 can't defend one vs one.
We have the slowest CB pairing in world football and to compound that we'll have Ivanovic at RB who is equally slow.
