Cech - 7 Always sure on his line. Ivanovic - 6.5 Didn't have too much work to do, and was later subbed with Bosingwa. Luiz - 7 Looked solid in defense, though he made some fauls he shouldn't have. Terry - 7.5 Very good defensive display as always. A.Cole - 9 Was a constant danger to their goal on the left side, but he was also good in defense. Made 1 amazing stop that could've been a goal. Mikel - 7.5 Nice display from John, good pass ratio and won a few balls. Essien - 6 I think he was too defensive, lost a few balls, and the passes he made were only to a close teammate. Lampard - 7 He was good, definitely better then in last 3 matches. Good composure shown on his goal. Malouda - 6.5 He was alright, though he made some really stupid moves. Kalou - 7 Good movement, he was both on right and left wing, scored a good goal. Drogba - 9 Not only did he score, he was our playmaker until he was subbed. Great display by Drogba. MOTM - Didier Drogba. Good solid win for us. I hope we continue with performances like this. :cfc:

I'm glad we had a routine win in which we've shown concentration, teamwork and good spirit. More wins like this are needed for us to start playing like we used to and get us on a good run. I'm disappointed though by Ancelotti's sub of Torres that late in the game, and that he subbed Drogba who was a MOTM and was creating our chances. It's nice to see though that move from Malouda from that FK sending a pass to Torres. It shows they want him to score and that they support him. Can't wait for our next match, and I hope we perform well. KTBFFH! :cfc:

Pretty nice 45minutes from us. I hope to see some more goals from Chels and especially from Torres.

Not a complete overhaul, but 1 winger, 1 right back and 1 good playmaker. We also need to count on players like Kakuta, Sturridge, Josh, Bruma, PVA and Bertrand to get their chances to. I'd like us to stick to 4-3-3, so perhaps another winger depending on who goes and stays. Sanchez, Mata, Hazard and Neymar are my candidates. As for departures, I'd say Malouda, Zhirkov, Bosingwa, PF ( perhaps ), and Anelka maybe.

To have Ivanovic and Alex sit on the bench and also a young and promising Bruma nowhere near a chance to get some first team action and bring another defender? Nope...even if he's good and cheap. It's not like we are short on money :eyebrows: The right players I believe we need are those around the age of 20-24 who are young but not too young, but also players who are yet to reach their best. Players like Luiz and Ramires who can play for us for quite some time and really become a part of our club, instead of experienced and oldish players from other teams who are well past their best. I believe he'll probably end in London if he leaves, but not at the Bridge.
