Tricky tie with WBA picking up some form. its up to carlo to get the players motivated for this one because i think most of them will think there is nothing left to play for so maybe mixing things up will be a good idea. People are saying to play Drogba , but i cant see him putting as much effort in against west brom as he did against united. I love Drogba but if torres is our furture he needs to play and score it hurts me saying that as i didnt want torres in the first place but if he is here to stay we need him scoring.

maybe a new era of players will win the CL it seems like it was just not to be for terry and co.

We wont sign 6/7 players , we need to devlope some of our youth talent if not why put so much money into it. i think we could sign one world clas players and a couple of yossi type signings but thats it. knowing us we will keep all the old guard send danny out on loan again and hope for the best.

Yep read alot of things in the media about him leaving a few suggesting Rafa could come here because of his torres connection i dont honestly know what i would do if we had rafa as manager

I think we need to stop looking at the porblems now and find a solution weather that is with Carlo or not we need to access things now not the summer this is the perfect time to look at what has gone wrong and make a point in the last 7 games.

This is the issue there are no Avalible world class managers out there

That being said we didn’t play well enough over the two legs , we can’t blame this one for bad refereeing we just didn’t seem up for it.

The best thing that has come out of this season is the arrival of Daniel Sturridge to Scoring in the Premier League , just want to say well done to the lad

:goodpost: Tomo it’s easy for us all to get down , but every team has seasons like this i remember united finishing 3rd when we were dominating the league and they thought there time in the sun was over , look at AC Milan , they couldn’t even get into the CL etc. Unfortunately in football you are only as good as your last game so we will get called shit etc this season but no one remembers the double last year except us. I must say a lot of us would have jumped at the chance to finish 4rd this season with our situation a couple of months ago. I say we need to secure 3rd and do some hard work in the summer and get us back to our best if that means letting some of the old guard go so be it. But next season we must bring in some fresh faces if we do because i think our downfall has been missing players like Ballack , Riccy Etc not necessarily because we haven’t had these players but because we haven’t had anyone in the same skill set in the squad , just imagine when we had our injury crisis players like Ballack and Riccy slotting in for cover we would have had a much better chance. Anyway I’m looking forward to next season now hopefully the Chelsea of old will be back and just remember it could be worse we could be Liverpool

It’s hard to admit but he is going downhill , this season he has showed only glimpses of his former self , we could blame this on his injury or just accept time has took its toll , it was bound to happen the guy never missed a game for a few season Mr consistent he was. I think he still has a place in our squad the same as giggs and scholes do in utd's but we need fresh blood and hunger in the midfield as this is where most moves are started.

The thing that annoys me that on football you are only as good as your last game. Everyone has forgot last season and let the media rot our brains with there pro red team attitude.

The torres thing is just an over reaction to the result.

Getting rid of torres would be stupid. The guy needs next season to start fresh Drogba was great tonight he showed the reason we love him so much shame as I think he will leave in the summer.

Who can possibly replace Carlo? Who out there who is available can do the job better. I wish we would stop blaming Carlo and blame the players.

Must say i have no nerves about this game at all, unlike last weds , maybe its because i think where already out , who knows .... we can beat anyone on our day , i just want us to make a good account for ourselves for example dont get slaughterd.
