You know he'll cost like 50m, right? Madrid got him for 40m... I dont want us to spend another 50m on a striker, no metter how good he is. Im thinking and hoping that our club doesnt even thinks about getting him or anybody else in those prices.

I think im jelous at Arsenal... for getting M'villa Well we dont know if they got him, but if they do they gonna have some great line up. He's a brilliant CDM, could be the best in the world in a season or two. Mikel has played well since Di Mateo gave him the keys in midfield, but there is no competition between him and players like M'villa... I want a brand new Essien! or Essien back... somehow.

Oh come on, Lampard got to have more credit than that (10 votes, behind Mata... which was great also). I got to say that in all of this amazing period since Di Mateo got the job (CL and FA cup succses), my no.1 player is Franky. The guy is just phenomenal. He have this new role near Mikel and he does it so amazingly well. Fight for every ball, in the right place ALL the time, and was so decisive for us with he's amazing passes- vs Barca in the first leg to remires, 2nd leg assist to the same player, and another big assist to Didi today. He's so very important to our sucsses, and he does all that in 33 after half of the world said he's done (including here you bastards ). Off course there is Drogba and Remires, they are both unbeliveble, but What Lamps does is just big. A real leader and a winner.

Imo, the club will go for more players like Marin this summer. That means good talneted players but not big names like Hulk or Hazard... i think the club fears about the the new Fair Play rules. As much as i want Hazard in the team, i dont think it will be that bad to keep making good and abit more healthy signings. Kind a like we did in first mourinho days (i mean not to get the big superstars, get the ones we think could be superstars for Chelsea).

A lot of you want us to play 4-2-3-1 i see, but i think that a central midfield of Mikel and Lampard is not defensive enough for us. Bayern (and Real, but Bayern got through, which is very good for us imo...) are playing much better football than we do, and we need to close them out. Not like we did with Barca, but still... we need to work. If Essien could improve more in those two weeks (played good against Arsenal btw..) he and Malouda should be good enough. Wish we had Ramires, but its still all right.

Yeah i agree that if AVB wouldnt got sacked i've been more sure on that, but i still think we'll make it with another manager. The squad is just too poor, If Abramovich is so ambitious about the club that he's firing every manager that cant get the right results right away, i think he noticed that the old squad is playing bad in the last two seasons and he got to spend big money now. And i personally didnt thought we will have the huge changes before the next summer... after we won the double i was sure we wont make real changes, and not in last summer too, when we spended 75m last Junuary and it was "just" a couple of months that we plaeyed awful. This summer is got to be the time... no metter who's in charge.

I agree with you, but there is a big chance we will bring a big name manager. As Arsenal are signing Podolski, i think that Hazard will go to Chelsea or to Tottenham. And about them, i still cant see what will they do about Hazard's sallery. Bale, Modric, VDV will want at least the same sallery that Hazard gets... and i dont think spurs have the money. And lets not forget that the first thing they need to do this summer is spend the money on a world class striker, and pay he's sallery. And what if they will have to find a new manager after 'arry maybe leaves for the national job? I think we are still the favorites for signing him, but we'll need to wait to the summer and see what Roman plans are...

Thats the situation now, it could change. two weeks ago they lost 4-0 to AC Milan and all of the Arsenal fans i know said the season is over for them. I agree our fixtures are tougher but i just said they have more games to lose points than what you mentioned. I actually think that both teams can lose points every game, thatS how bad we are, and them. The win they had today was hugh, but lets not forget that the score should have been like 5-2 to livepool if they could finish their chances. Lets not make Arsenal a good team, they have an awful season too and they are playing bad football too, just better than us atm...

Well they do have more games that they could lose points... QPR away, Everton away, WBA away. Its only about the form, and you never know how Arsenal are going to play. It will be nerve racking thats for sure.. Sloth, this day changed the race a lot... i think that now alot of people will have a different opinion.
