It isn't wroten black on with on the official website, but I think it's safe to say it is official according to the following link : Yeah, it does seem we have been lurking around La Masia recently, wouldn't be surprising if we make another Romeu-a-like deal.
-
Yeah, he has yet to live up to all the hype around him. That being said, he is young and there's a lot of place for him to improve. Plus André will be able to mould him like he wants to, due to his young age. And in my opinion, his versatility could be a good thing for us. Even though many say he is an average player, I think it is safe to say he has a lot of potential, otherwise he wouldn't be scouted by all the good teams in England. So if he does really possess this potential, we should sign him and help him to fulfil it.

Well, if we do not get at least three players in January (either we buy them or we promote them form the academy), I would be quite worried. If you look at it, Anelka has already signed for this chinese team. Alex is out of the team. Kalou has handed a transfer request while Malouda plays less and less. Plus those two are - according to journos - on their way out in the winter. And finally, Josh McEachran is more than likely to go out on loan. At the moment, our team has 26 players (I've counted Essien). So, our team could go from 26 players to 23 (at least since Anelka, Alex and at least one of Malouda/Kalou/Josh will leave) or 21 (if all the players I mentionned above will leave). In those 23 (at best) players, we can really only rely on 20 of them, since there are two back-up goalkeepers and Feirrera who is no more a player, but a translator. At the start of the season, we were already a very tinny squad, so let alone what we will be at the start of February if we don't do a good mercato... Hence if think the board would be insane and careless if he doesn't buy at least two players.

Not Mikel. First off, because we are already short in the midfield, and if Romeu picks up an injury, or if he possibly has a deep in form, we would have no one appropriate to replace him. So even if John Obi doesn't really suit the style of football that André is trying to instill to our team, we should keep him untill the summer, at least. And, we can make some money in selling him. Italian sides seem to be keen to buy him, if my memory serves me right, Torino was ready to propose us around €15m... Though, on Bosingwa I can only be agree with you... I think we also should make a tombola and give him to the winner.

Realistically : • A striker - Whatever his name, as long as he is able to score goals... • A winger - could it be left or wright, someone in the mould of Hazard, Neymar, etc.. • A creative midfielder - Since those chikens are ahead of us in the table, to get Modric is impossible.. So I want us to look towards La Masia, and try this Sergi Roberto • A right back - PS : considering Alex is leaving, a center back wouldn't be a luxury.. Though I changed my mind on Cahill, I'd rather us to wait till the summer and call back Bruma, who I think will be better than Cahill in a short time.

Okay, I am as happy as every one with this news. But something bothers me. Why now, for fuck sake ? Why we try to offload liabilities in the middle of the season, while we could have done this job proprely in the summer... Because let's be honest, all the players announced as goner, we already knew during the summer that they should be sold... That being said, I am still happy they have finally been identified as liabilities and surplus to requirement (better later than never). This month of January should be lively.

Unfortunatly, it's made out of nothing... But it would have been great, though. I am a daydreamer, but I hope this turns to be true lol
-
Yeah, he does a good job, but he is average in all sides of the game, but he isn't great at one. The first thing which bother me with him, it is that he gives away a lot of ball... His passing game isn't the best, plus I feel he is too much sloppy when doing a pass. After this, I find him a bit too much agressive and reckless when he does a challenge. Against City he could have been send off, and yesterday he should have get a yellow card. @ BL : Don't get me wrong, I do not deny he is bringing something to our team, that's undeniable. At the moment he should compose our midefelder along side Romeu and Ramires.
-
I can't wait to see this ladyboy out of our club. I am fed up with all those "Why he doesn't play ?" "He should have started the game", "AVB is fool to not play him", etc... And I am fed up with his fanclub as well.
-
I don't rate him very highly because he is good on a video game. Ever since he joined Milan, I have followed him. Even though I do not watch Milan as much as Chelsea or Barça, I saw a lot of Milan games, and from that I think he is a classy player, he can play on the wing or down the middle, he has an extroardinary speed and pace, he is good with his dribble and his finishing is world class, in my opinion ( )
-
Imo, this result is unpardonable, but after seeing reactions of some fans, I can't even feel angry toward this result..
-
Had we succeded in our attemp to get Alexis Sanchès, André wouldn't have to select Kalou. Had we reached an agreement with Tottenham for Modric, André wouldn't have to play Lampard. Had we signed Thiago Alcantara before Barça tied him with them in a long term plan, André would have an alternative to Meireles or another midfielder. He isn't a magician, he can't turn average players into world class beaters.
-
Off course That was to 'respond' to all this 'Torres here, Torres there" which was going on. But our next game his against Tottenham, and we haven't a deep squad. I think to take our foot off when we can isn't a bad idea..
-
This draw is your fault André, you didn't played Torres...
-
You are quite sad, man...
-
Meireles has yet to convinced me. I find him reckless in his challenges, his passing game isn't up there, and he gives away the ball too much. We do not pass the ball quickly enough. We make way too much touch before passing it, especially Bosingwa and Cole. The latter will have to have a rest, because at this rate he will soon be a poor footballer.
-
Bertrand doesn't even make the bench..? Smh. Would have be good to give a rest to Cole in the second half. Anyway, I hope for a big win with style.
-
He is good enough to be a squad player, but he isn't good enough to be in our starting XI.
-
But no one has said he was poor because he doesn't suit our or Spain playing style..
-
Oh, hold on. Tell me where I made an excuse for his poor form ?
-
^ He can't even adapt himself to our playing style, do you really think he can adapt or suit Barça playing style ? It isn't science rocket to understant why he can't.. ps : granted you're new here, but I never once in my life said he was poor because of his team mates...
-
Oh I don't remember him playing at CB before Mascherano came. I guess that's because I weren't watching them that much. Though, this year I find him good/decent every time he plays at this spot. And I'm agree, he would be poor at this position in a team who doesn't have as many possession as Barça.
-
Sergio played at CB against Madrid, and he was good.
-
From what I saw, Llorente and Soldado are player more able to keep the ball than the 50 million pound striker. You gotta give to the latter man a good ball, perfectly dosed in defender's back etc... to make him usefull. The two others aren't this one dimensional.
