We both know that's not at all what I said...clearly this isn't going to be a conversation/debate if you completely ignore the entire point of the post. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

[emoji23] why are you implying you can't make tiktok videos and get in better shape? That's ridiculous. Especially with the fact that he doesn't have some full time job that is currently having him somewhere 9-5. The guy has plenty of time to do both. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I was very happy to see him playing CB, as I think it is only position he will make it in a top team like Chelsea. I think he has a ton of potential there and it suits his strengths and weaknesses well. I don't think he is quite quick enough in speed of thought to play CM, too slow to play outside back, but his vision and passing would be a weapon at CB. The dude isn't afraid to tackle either. Natural leader. I hope he stays in that position and gets some regular playing time the rest of the season.

I must say if we do go after Sancho, I think it's possible we play many games without a striker. Starting 4 of RLC, mount, ziyech, puli, Sancho, and CHO. I personally don't think Abraham should be starting at a top club like chels, and I would be happy to play no recognized striker. My only concern would be for crossing. Having ziyech and James putting in crosses is a strikers dream, and I worry we would lose some effectiveness with less of striker presence. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

If I'm not mistaken, Ziyech is Moroccan, which means he will leave for the AFCON every 2 years (as long as Morocco get in each time). Does anyone know how good Morocco are/if they qualify each competition? It will be a bummer to lose a potentially starting player for 6 weeks every other season. Now obviously if the player is good enough (like mane for example), you suck it up. But still one negative in the whole situation. I like the signing though.

Saw sky sports saying it was 27M. Where'd you see 55? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

This. He has all the talent in the world, it was just a question of what type of player he wanted to be. Dortmund's direct of development (or something) once said they have never had a player that was this good at this many things. I would argue that could be both a good and a bad thing. He certainly needs to specialize and focus in a few areas or else he would just end up being a very good player in a lot of ways. I was worried that could happen. But he seems like he is going to be a great player with an all around game too instead. Lamps clearly wants him to be a difference maker in terms of goals and assists, getting in the box, etc. He wants him to be a bit of a killer and that will be HUGE for his development. So excited that we have him.

It all depends on the journalist. Nizaar Kinsella has actually been very reliable for Chelsea stuff in the past year or two. So this is really good news. Most other journalists on goal are completely useless. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

It's possible. I would imagine that azpi would go there first, or even James before Guehi. I'll be interested to see if he makes the bench. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Not sure if anybody responded to you, but fullmatchesandshows.com almost always has full games of ours. Usually very good quality too. And no download, etc. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Injuries could help them if some juve players get injured but it could seriously harm their chances. You can't say. If inter win this week. Juve could easily win the rematch, which leaves one tie away from them being tied on points. It's crazy to say that this game will decide the title... we're less than 10 games in, come on. Will it influence the title? Clearly. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

What? It's wayyyyy too early for that. If they get a couple injuries, go on a bad run of form, etc, 5 points can be gotten back in as little as 2 games... Now 5 points near the end of the season is totally different. But we haven't seen enough of this inter team yet to make that claim. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Emerson definitely was rushed. Kante was fine. He got a totally unrelated injury that come from a tackle. Rudiger is an interesting case. Lamps said he had the problem in his groin for awhile, so it almost seemed like it was something unlikely to get worse. He had played in multiple developmental games and came out fine. So was he rushed back? Maybe. Not from his original injury, but from not allowing the new one to totally heal, which of course might be related in some way to the previous. Mount definitely seemed rushed back too. I don't think he quite went in to tackles the same as usual. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I understand what you're saying...but disagree. Theoretically, Bernardo Silva, David Silva, even KDB you could argue "occupying the same space". But practically it doesn't cause them many problems. Intelligent players figure it out and interchange well. Ruben is also a deeper player than mount should be at this point. Ruben is at his best box to box. Mount is currently better higher up. That may change, and I have no doubt they'll be competing for the same/similar positions in the future, but they can play together. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

At the same time, this idea is promoting a type of elitism when it comes to the way people support a team. I'm not defending that guy, that seems a bit weird. But you are implying good support is loud support. Or singing type support. That sort of support isn't everyone's thing. I for one am the type of supporter that goes to games, sits, analyzes, and enjoys the football of it. I don't scream or chant much. I don't sing, etc. That's just not my style. Does that make it worse? Nope. I'm just as much of a supporter. I get that have a loud stadium of fans is beneficial, but that type of support isn't better than other. I think you're overreacting here. You can be laughing and taking your jobs very seriously at the same time. Smiling/laughing does not mean you aren't focused or don't want to win. Only being serious is so boring. I respect that he seems to have that type of relationship with kova. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I don't think it's that simple. In fact, I would think that the money isn't the most important thing...there was a few really good sources hinting that we had agreed. So it almost seems like we've agreed, and he is making sure that he is actually going to get playing time when he gets back before he signs. Lampard can tell him all day long he thinks highly of him and he is central to plans, but talk is cheap. Now I would say it's clear lamps means it, and he has showed that with his faith in other youngsters. But you have to remember that CHO heard it from sarri but then didn't play as much as he wanted (he eventually did, and I thought sarri handled decent although he should have played him sooner). Then you see Pep talking up foden as the best young player he's coached but then not played him. Honestly can't blame the kid for wanting it to be proven he's going to be given chances. It was clear to me that was problem in the first place. That's how I see it. I'm thinking he just wants to make sure he actually has a place before signing. There's a difference between an entitled mentality and one where you want what you deserve. I don't think he's entitled to a place in the team. I don't think he thinks he's entitled to a place in the team simply by being himself. I do think he deserves a place on merit. And if he doesn't get a place then he's going to go to a place he can play on merit. As tomo has said, it's fine for him to get as much out of it as possible. That's part of the dynamics of becoming a top player. He has some power here based in the situation. I think it'll still pay off long term for us. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

That's why if it's done by someone in a booth with very objective guidelines, it would make it more consistent... Yes you give and take a little, but the point of extra/stoppage time is to add the time that was lost for various things...I for one don't remember any games when 5-6 minutes were added with no injuries or goals. Fergie time is different story that isn't about this conversation. If someone is getting special treatment, that's clearly wrong either way... And per the laws of the game, the added time actually means "a minimum of ___ minutes". So just cause they don't blow it right at the time, doesn't mean they aren't doing it correctly. The ref could have meant a bit more than 4 minutes, and then there was some stoppages in the extra time that meant more was needed. It's clear they low-ball the stoppage time almost every game. It's like how they used to never actually give 10 yards, it was really only ever 8 (they've gotten better at this). It's little things that are not hard to fix Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
-
I think the opposite. I think it's unreal how they rarely ever add enough time to the end of halves. I spent multiple games last season counting the time for injuries and clear time wasting, etc. And they basically NEVER give enough time. This season has been a little better, but still not there. It's really not that hard to do. They have people in booths already, so they might as well just have those people keep track and tell the center ref how long. It's really not that hard...I don't get why they don't make it easier. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Agreed, but the problem is he just isn't good enough there either. He doesn't have the efficiency or decisiveness or end product or decision making for it. Part of that is confidence, but most is not. There's a reason mount plays over him. He's simply the superior player. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

He did okay-ish. Honestly he's just so frustrating to watch. Takes 4 touches when he only needs 2. Constantly makes the wrong pass. The most frustrating is how he slightly misplaces so many passes. They end getting to our player most of the time (sometimes not though), but it's rarely ever where it needs to be. It'll be not quite be in stride so they'll have to slow down. It's often behind the player so they have to stop, turn around, and retrieve the ball (this especially happens when he is passing so an outside back. It kills so much attacking momentum. Slows down play, allows defenses to get in better positions, etc. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I read somewhere that CHO's was much less serious than RLC's. I think RLC was a complete rupture and Odoi might have only been partial. Happy to have him back soon! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I've never heard of a fully ruptured Achilles only taking 3 months to get back to playing. You usually can't put weight on the leg or at least a month of two. Then it's a long, slow recovery Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

... that's an embarrassing comment. A real person just got a serious injury. It doesn't matter if it's a rival or not Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Looked like a ruptured Achilles to me. So probably 6-12 months depending on severity. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
