  1. The funny thing, they are also by far our 2 most frustrating players in possession. Both lose the ball when they shouldn't or find the wrong pass often (kante esp) that disrupts transition momentum. It's so annoying. Not trying to take anything away from them, there's no perfect player. And I love them both. Absolutely brilliant players. But they are certainly limited. I think that's one of the reasons azpi is underappreciated at times. There's no flash or silky smoothness.
  2. Anybody have a good stream? All the ones I've found are lagging bad
  3. I think havertz will get the start. Werner is nailed on. So maybe werner - mount - havertz Or werner -havertz - puli if he wants to rest mount like he did werner. I'd also love for Reece to start playing some at rcb. Not necessarily this fixture but he's obviously capable and would provide an additional attacking threat.
  4. Why does it have to be one or the other? It's not black and white. They're totally different players. Fab was much more of risk taker, brilliant creativity, long pass specialist. But he didn't control the tempo like jorginho does. He ran the show often but in a much different way. He was a decisive player who biggest impacts were often directly involved with goals. Jorginho is a person who dictates tempo much more, keeps things flowing, creates a ton of space for teammates, but offers shorter passes. He is a player who's impact is often not directly involved with goals, but ov
  5. He's 21. He left his home 6 months ago (which has talked about how hard that is--he's clearly a homebody and this has been difficult). He had covid with some strong symptoms. He hasn't gotten his confidence back yet. He's been poor (especially last couple of weeks), but he's gonna be a top player. Talent has oozed through at times and he's a hard worker. It'll come. I have no worries about him. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. You have any links to man u game? My family is man u fans and are asking me lol Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. I agree that I wish we would have kept him. Great squad player. But the last part about our only CM with goalscoring threat...what about mount? And even havertz to a degree. I won't count RLC cause it seems he's leaving. I think we are light on goal threats from there, but he's not the only one. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, it's accurate if I'm remembering the interview right. To clarify, he wasn't talking about alonso giving himself a mountain to climb to get in to the team or something like that. He meant that when you make mistakes like we did for the goals, you are making a mountain for yourself to climb to get a result in the game. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. I wish Ampadu would be played at CB. I think it's the only position he has the potential to be top class. I don't see him as a DM/CM. But can see him possibly doing really well at CB. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Ha my apologies. I didn't read it very well. Skimmed and focused on the line up. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. I must say, that's obviously not realistic. That's 8 new top level starters...that's ridiculous in one window. And honestly not healthy for a squad as a whole. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. This is common in a lot of transfers. You negotiate without ever submitting an offer. Once you negotiate to a point of agreement, then you make the offer... That's why clubs can say they haven't received any formal offers for players, but still be deep in to negotiations. It's especially common when clubs know the player wants to leave, which is the case here. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Worried about Kova and the Achilles. He injured it earlier in the season and now again. As we know, these injuries are no joke.... I'm hoping it just got stepped on and that it's not related to the previous injury Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. The partnership that James and CHO were making on the right was reallyyyyy good until CHO and Reece got injured. I think CHO is still dangerous on the right. Maybe not quite his best, but still tons of potential. I think the whole LW vs RW thing is overrated. Most top wingers can do both easily (there are some obvious exceptions) Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. I actually like chilwell a lot. He has a massive engine, gets up and down constantly. He also has this bit of arrogance on the ball that I love (for example, Reece James has it even more so). He's quality and thoughtful going forward. He isn't looking to just get to byline and cross aimlessly, but early crosses and passes across the box, trying to pick people out. And that sort of helpful in building out of the back too. He definitely has a lot of room for improvement, esp defensively. I don't think he's as poor as people make him out to be though. I would just say very average defensively.
  16. Anybody have the full article? https://theathletic.com/1877509/
  17. Isn't jorginho still suspended for one more game anyways? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. We both know that's not at all what I said...clearly this isn't going to be a conversation/debate if you completely ignore the entire point of the post. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. [emoji23] why are you implying you can't make tiktok videos and get in better shape? That's ridiculous. Especially with the fact that he doesn't have some full time job that is currently having him somewhere 9-5. The guy has plenty of time to do both. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. I was very happy to see him playing CB, as I think it is only position he will make it in a top team like Chelsea. I think he has a ton of potential there and it suits his strengths and weaknesses well. I don't think he is quite quick enough in speed of thought to play CM, too slow to play outside back, but his vision and passing would be a weapon at CB. The dude isn't afraid to tackle either. Natural leader. I hope he stays in that position and gets some regular playing time the rest of the season.
  21. I must say if we do go after Sancho, I think it's possible we play many games without a striker. Starting 4 of RLC, mount, ziyech, puli, Sancho, and CHO. I personally don't think Abraham should be starting at a top club like chels, and I would be happy to play no recognized striker. My only concern would be for crossing. Having ziyech and James putting in crosses is a strikers dream, and I worry we would lose some effectiveness with less of striker presence. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. If I'm not mistaken, Ziyech is Moroccan, which means he will leave for the AFCON every 2 years (as long as Morocco get in each time). Does anyone know how good Morocco are/if they qualify each competition? It will be a bummer to lose a potentially starting player for 6 weeks every other season. Now obviously if the player is good enough (like mane for example), you suck it up. But still one negative in the whole situation. I like the signing though.
  23. Saw sky sports saying it was 27M. Where'd you see 55? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. This. He has all the talent in the world, it was just a question of what type of player he wanted to be. Dortmund's direct of development (or something) once said they have never had a player that was this good at this many things. I would argue that could be both a good and a bad thing. He certainly needs to specialize and focus in a few areas or else he would just end up being a very good player in a lot of ways. I was worried that could happen. But he seems like he is going to be a great player with an all around game too instead. Lamps clearly wants him to be a difference maker in t
